Waited at reception for over 15 minutes to be served at 4.15 pm. Room not ready at 4.30pm - had to wait another 15 minutes . Poor state of facilities - no bed lights, soap holder in shower broken, fire detector covered up with a plastic bag! , no toilet paper , cupboard door broken . Not recommended .

The room was clean and comfortable. The property had man y amenities i would have liked to use if i had stayed longer!!!

I liked the friendly face on arrival and the location was great. There was plenty of hot water for a shower. My only dislike was the fact that we only had three days there. If we were in the area again we will stay there again. The restaurant attached is nice and the food was really good and plentiful. The room we stayed in had no microwave which is a real oversight in these days for people on the move.

I rang to ask for early access to room for 1:30pm instead of usual 2:30pm & nothing had been done about it. Though they had said it would be OK. Communication was very poor due to poor English. We were given a room where the cleaner had just started cleaning so that stressed her so she said there were other rooms available. He finally understood what we were asking for & gave us a room, as we needed to unload our car so we could put a wheelchair in it to take my mum out who lives locally. The room we were given had no overhead lights only one bedside light. The bathroom fan was so noisy & in need of repair. The plumbing in shower, hand basin & toilet all need fixing as constantly leaking. There was no toaster, no microwave to be able to fix your own breakfast in the morning. There were no glasses supplied only 3 teacups & a few milk samples, not enough to give yourself cereal. We take our own bowls & cutlery but would be good to have a basic set in a room. Beds were comfortable & generally the room was clean. We had recently stayed at smaller Motels that were $30 cheaper than what we paid here & they had all the amenities & facilities you need in a room for an overnight stay when travelling. So definitely not value for money here. I know the owners are only new but they need to fix up the basics in each room before doing major renovations as it’s often the little details that count.

Staff were very accommodating with our schedule being unsure of due to a tournament we were attending. Stayed with a group. Kids really enjoyed the facility. Will stay again.

The dog fencing! You could open the slider doors for your room and let your pet chill outside in a safe area.

Staffs and Services are good and helpful.

It needed upkeep but grounds were tidy. Room was clean except for windows, mirrors and sliding doors. Out of 3 beds one was hard as a rock, one you could feel the springs through and one was ok.

The front counter staff were rude on check in. The room was not clean the shower walls were disgusting marks/stains on the walls in the sleeping area. No lightbulbs in the main room so only 1 light in the whole room. The pool was milky and dirty. Very loud had other guests waking us up each night at all hours. Basic bedding sheet then a thin doona no cover then another sheet on top not all the pillows had cases on them.

Room needed repairs like broken vanity,leaking shower head. The tv was nearly as small as an Ipad.

It was dirty, looked nothing like the pictures, I fell down the lip step going out of the door and hurt my back, the door was so heavy I could hardly push it and it slams shut, it smelt very bad, the cupboard was broken and wouldn’t even open, the owner told us to go to his Chinese restaurant next door and the food was so bad we couldn’t eat it at all and wasted $62 on it then had to drive 20 minutes away to go find other food to eat at 9pm. Traffic was loud all night then people banging on doors and yelling at 4- 5am. Horrible experience. I never leave bad reviews but that is $160 $62 for bad food and all we got was a dirty smelly room no sleep and loud banging, I slipped and hurt my back on bad step with the heavy door and the gross wasted food. The workers at the restaurant told us the owner owns both the restaurant and the hotel and to leave our restaurant lent forks in the room because the hotel has no plates or cutlery. Do not recommend. Awful experience all around.

Hotel is extremely run-down. No one at reception on arrival or departure. People trying to check in and no one around. The shower was filthy with mould everywhere. Wear your flip-flops. The toilet was leaking and would barely flush. The kettle was unusable - dirty inside. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable - felt like I was sleeping on concrete. The sliding glass door is very dangerous. It did not stop on opening and I jammed my fingers which was extremely painful. Yes, I cried like a baby. I fear for a child who might get hurt. This property must have been beautiful 20 years ago but requires a lot of renovation. We had just done a 12 day road trip and this was the worst place ever. The pictures are very deceiving. I would NEVER stay here again and certainly do not recommend it to any traveller.

The whole motel is run down, we arrived a 6pm and the reception was closed. The rooms were dirty and the shower head fell off when trying to take a shower. Will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Dirty! Bedside tables had hair on them, out of the 3 beds, one had been slept in as the bottom sheet was untucked, scrunched up 1/3 of the mattress and the quilt had just been pulled up. Another bed had a blanket at the quilt and had several fluid stains that were very obvious. Bathroom had severe mould and it was clear that the toilet had not been cleaned.

A bit run down and room felt grubby. It's dated which is fine but it could do with more attention to cleaning. Maybe even replacing the stained bedsheets would be cool.

We left without staying. Unfortunately the vast majority of the property and grounds were unkept and in need of a major spruce up. Our room had been made up, but was filthy when we arrived. The star rating is greatly overstated.

Clean towels and bedding but there was a razor blade in the shower old soaps as well from previous people also the courtyard had a huge hole as the previous dog digged also not ceiling lights very poor

Old and not overly clean, the bed wasn’t made, the chain on the front door was missing the lock, no screen door to verndah so the glass door had to be closed
