Check in was great. Room was clean and cool. Hallway was a bit musty. Our disappointment was the morning service. There was no one at breakfast to clean messes that other guests made. Coffee spilled on the elevator floor and another guest cleaned it up. There was absolutely no one at the front desk. We have stayed here before and it was great. We may not come back.

This place only gets a one star due to the ladies at the front. They were kind and understanding.
We drove several hours and checked in (the check in lady was really nice) at about 9:30PM well we were placed next to room where a party seemed to be going on. They were loud but bearable. We didn’t think much, we were just tired from the drive and ready to get ready for bed.
At about 11:30 we were awakened to some sort of domestic dispute going on in the room where the party was going on. We were awoken to screams, banging, cursing, and fighting. We looked through the peephole to see multiple people really just watching as the suspect just went on his rampage.
Immediately we called the cops and called the front desk to check out and get a refund. They were understanding of the situation.
After the cops arrived they took care of the situation. But, I wish the hotel would’ve kicked everyone out. The room was still occupied when we left. What if the other guys came back? Ruined our trip and we ended up driving several hours all the way back home.

Hotel lobby smelled like marijuana when you walked in but they tried to cover it up with a fragrance. People were wandering all over the parking lot making it uncomfortable place and feeling for my pregnant wife and family. Bed sheets were half off the bed when we walked in.

If you like sinking mattresses - this is your spot! Once you crawl in the bed you might not get out!! No nightstand on one side of the bed and a 9" space to walk between the bed and wall .........not our best stay.

This was an average La Quinta, nice but a bit older. Still was clean and quiet. Average hotel hot breakfast.

My overall experience with amazing as always, the only problem we had was in the bathroom.
The shower curtain was just not long enough to remain in the bathtub, every time we showered the bathroom floor would get soaking wet.

This was my time staying there and will return. Room 405 was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast wasn’t bad and I wish they had boiled eggs and oatmeal. They want for you to make the oatmeal.

We booked a king suite. We arrived, check in was very easy staff was friendly. We go to our room and start setting up the pull out couch for my daughter and there are tiny bugs on it. Which could have easily have been bed bugs. We talked to the front desk about moving rooms and they did that immediately.

There are "several" hotels closer to most of the shopping and eating locations in Victoria...but I appreciated being a bit farther out. This hotel is very clean and all the "expected" amenities are excellent. We had two small issues...the room phone did not work (I used my cell phone to report this), and I needed to call down to get bedding for the pull-out couch (and they had no extra pillows...good thing this was for a 5 year old that had her own pillow!!). I would give this hotel 4 1/2 of 5 stars!
P.S. My 5 y/o REALLY liked the automatic pancake machine!!

Property was what you could expect for the location and price. Expedia needs to change the “pay at property” option because you can’t do that. They charged me the whole cost each night before we arrived. Terrible experience in that regard.

The staff was one the nicest staff. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that the staff were not as good as them. Can’t say enough about how friendly, helpful, and respectful they all are. We had to bring our German shepherd, and they loved on him all week and were so sweet to him.Always had a treat for him. We had one issue, (which I won’t post, because I would want everyone to give them business because of their great attitudes). I told the night person, she was so apologetic and I am sure it will be taken care because you can tell they all care. We will definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area.
