Keep in mind this is a 2 star. All we really needed & were looking for was a place to sleep for a meeting the following day. It was adequate for our purposes. There are definitely some improvements that could be made cheaply to make a stay more enjoyable. In no specific order ..... There was what we hope was a stain on the bed sheet, there is a Coffee maker but no coffee or creamer. There are no cups or glasses to drink from. The shower curtain needs to be washed or replaced to get rid of what I assume are the mold stains. The ceiling above could use the black spots painted over or bleached off. Shampoo & conditioner would be a nice touch as well as there was none. No hair blower so we had to go to Costco to buy one only to return it a couple of days later to them.
On the plus side it was under $100 and you could see that an attempt was made to have it clean. If you have ever been to a 3* resort down south it is about the same level of cleanliness where a good deep cleaning and refreshing would go a long way. They had something in their little office that I have never seen before which is really neat .... discount tokens for many different places and activities. Kudos to them for having that.
Would be stay there again. YES we would but would be better prepared for the spartenness of it.
There are also a lot of restaurants within 5-10 minutes of the place. We ended up at Big 6ix Sports & Wings on a Wed which is their 1/2 price wing night. They were so good .

Absolutely no way would I stay here, sheets were blood stained, black hair all through them. Bathroom disgusting. I had to leave!!!

Totally broken window, filthy bathroom, no hot water, no TV, no coffee maker supplies, no cups. Turned around and left and No Refund after 12 minutes on site. I would not stay here if you paid me, not even serious 5 figure money. Dumpster fire of crap place. My wife and I urge you and all who read this to go anywhere else. Even the waitress at the restaurant up the road said, "That place is bad news". Surprised they have a licence to operate.

No water , went to bed with out shower , made a complain and they said some one is working on it . got up in the morning, still no water. Luckily, I had my own 4 letter water bottle in my vehicle for me to use.

We were not contacted to let us know that there was an issue with the door locks. When we got there we were told that we can stay in the room or if we leave we can leave our door ajar so we can get back in with all of our stuff inside. The only other way to get back in is if we find a staff member with a master key. The guy to fix the locks would only be there the next day after we had gone. Not an idea situation for security on your property. We had booked for one night only and went in to see the room. It was musty smelling and the staff member had a really hard time to open the door with the master key. We did not have access to find another room that night so we ended up driving back home in a snow storm after a very long day. We are not happy about the situation and it might have turned out differently had we been contacted earlier that day so we could look around to make other arrangements. We will not be booking with you ever and we will not be recommending your establishment to anyone.

There is no wifi . There is no television. There is a vending machine with no drinks no snacks.

checked in, the room had a bad odour and then was told that neither the TV or internet were working so checked out and went somewhere else

I arrived at the hotel at 10pm with my confirmation, to be greeted with a sign the main office closes at 9pm for the night!!!
I called the hotel number. No reply.
I am now in the process of seeking a refund as I was forced to book another hotel. The booking indicated it was non-refundable. I need to be refunded given they did not offer the service advertised.
DO NOT book at this hotel if you are arriving late.

The bathroom has a loud rattle noise, and shower was extremely hot or extremely cold. The tv didnt wirk, but they did have Wifi. Stains on sheet and stains on floors in the hallway and room. Strong smell of weed in the hallway, i thought it was a non smoking motel, but was probably wrong. Staff was friendly though!

No amenities, coffee machine had old used coffee pod in it , no complimentry coffee pod provided ,tv but no channels available as all the equipment needed updating.

Room was a good price, nothing fancy but more than does the job. Only issue was the heater in the room did not change temp regardless of what you set the thermostat to.

They said door key is not working and i should keep door open when i go out. Towels are dirty bugs was around.

All anyone can really care about are clean sheets and towels. The price of stay was descent but doesn’t make up for dirty sheets, carpet and bathroom.

We reserved two rooms at the Vaughn Inn and arrived at 5pm check in is after 3pm and our rooms were still not ready. When asked why the rooms weren’t ready they had no explanation considering we were 2 hours after check in. We were told 30-45 minutes before the rooms would be ready. As we were waiting in the parking lot we observed some pretty upsetting things. Garbage all over the parking lot, the hotel has not been updated in many many years, they were putting beds together, majority of the rooms were in complete disarray (beds flipped over, no curtains, broken windows). And this is just what we observed from the outside of the room. When I asked to see the room prior to payment the clerk refused and stated I could only see it once it was cleaned.
It also appeared that a very scary intoxicated man who appears to live in the last room of the Inn. The glass door to his room was smashed, beer bottles lined up outside his room and window, as he paced back and forth while we waited. When driving by it appeared that his room was a hoarder situation. My husband is a construction worker and has slept in some questionable 2-3 star hotels and by far this was the worst. The only reason I gave them a 2 on service is cause when we asked for a refund they complied without question. This hotel should be shut down until a major overhaul is done. I’m not sure how others have been able to review this property and give them a good review. This property is absolutely terrible!

Booked this inn as a last minute option for an employee. He had to leave the property: he couldn't get into his room for a few hours (heavy police presence), nobody was at the reception when assistance was needed and when finally he was able to get into the room, there was no hot water in the shower. Overall terrible experience, would not recommend this property to anyone
