Beautiful spot tucked into the cypresses and pines on Albemarle Sound. Rustic in character with eccentric charm, the owners are delightful. Long time residents of the Outer Banks, Linda and Greg are generous and welcoming hosts, attentive to needs and requests for information, while remaining practically invisible to their guests! Very comfortable bed, lights and chairs and tables just where you them, lovely west-facing balcony from which to enjoy sunsets. Perfect respite!

While the inn was nice, comfortable and the inn keeper was friendly we definitely had issues with this stay. Breakfast is included but the 'breakfast' was a few pieces of fruit and a make your own coffee. Misleading to call it even a 'continental breakfast'. Older people should be aware of a long climb up two flights of stairs to the room, this is not mentioned. Not worth the money.

No air conditioning, small maintenance issues. Ticks in the bed. My husband picked up 3. The location was beautiful, private. The bones of the facility was nice. The potentials amazing.

The view from our room was spectacular. The property is nice. The breakfast was continental, great presentation plus delicious muffins and assorted fruit. The bed is comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Host gave us a great presentation/history of the area. We recommend if you want quiet out of the way atmosphere.

Very quiet, private and clean. Beautiful B&B and even though it's quiet it's still a good location for restaurants and shopping. My husband and I enjoyed our stay!

There is a lot of hustle & bustle at the outer banks. Cypress Moon is a refreshing retreat from that. It's close enough to be convenient to everything but feels tranquil and remote. Wonderful views from our room balcony,

The location was nice and beautiful view The inn keeper was nice and friendly. However lot of noise from bridge when sitting outside. The tv was very small and old 17” Breakfast was minimal and delivered the evening before. I

Peaceful and relaxing place tucked away among natural surroundings and nice water view. Loved sitting on the balcony in the morning and enjoying the birds & nature. Only reason for the 4 was the small TV, didn’t bother me but husband likes his TV. Greg (owner) was friendly & informative.Overall nice place, clean and comfortable bed & I would go again. Thank you

Very charming home and a lovely couple that own and operate the BB. Room was clean, bed was changed daily, fresh fruit,coffee and muffins for breakfast. If you are to book ask for the rooms with ocean view!!! Beautiful!! We would book again if in the area.

This feels like a home situated at the edge of a Mississippi bayou. Beautiful view out the windows, beautiful view from the dock, beautiful walk from the boardwalk between the dock and inn; also, the wildlife was fun to watch from the deck (we saw a summer tanager, possibly a magnolia warbler, terns, a cownose ray, and a young raccoon). The hosts definitely shared their Southern Hospitality the entire time. They were even gracious enough to answer a call at 10:00 p.m. the night after our stay to answer our landlubbers' questions about the dangers of a tropical storm that would be moving through the area in a day's time.

I am not certain where to start, this property is tucked away and we were not certain that we were in the right place as we could not see any signs. Once inside it was more than charming and comfortable. The hosts were somehow nowhere to be found yet whenever we needed something they appeared as did our request. Our room had a balcony one the sound which was incredible in the morning. We had a continental breakfast waiting for us in our room at the end of every evening so when we woke up we were all set. Having breakfast on the balcony looking at the sound was so comfortable it is hard to describe. If you are looking for peace and quiet for a few days at your own pace this place must be tried. It may not be everyones cup of tea and i am not certain that it is mine but i am going back and would encourage anyone looking for a good experience to try it just once.

The Cypress Moon Inn is lovely weathered two story home in a beautiful secluded waterfront location The house has many lovely furnishings. The owners have provided a wide variety of interesting books in the living area for the guests. The owner, who lives next door, is a long time Outer Banks resident and can provide expertise on a variety of local activities and attractions.

Owner helped with luggage!! Porch overlooking water. Beautiful sunset and setting. Bed was very comfortable. Floor needed a bit of cleaning. Breakfast consisted of a heavy coffee cake, small fruit and coffee, not my preference. I would stay again.

Great homey place on the bay. Victorian atmosphere. . Owners were very gracious. One night we had supper ( steamed NC shrmp from the local market, with wine, of course) on the veranda, enjoyed the beautiful sunset and peaceful evening. We will definitely be back.
