Both doors to the room could not be secured. This obviously was quite a concern. Otherwise the room was sufficient.

Hotel is not handicap accessible and the stairs are steeper than typical staircases. Staff did offer to help carry my luggage up the stairs. Condition and comfort were ok but overall the hotel was not worth the price I paid.

Not only was the location perfect but the staff was pleasant, accommodating and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Park lot is tight place is located in perfect spot.

Not as advertised- queen was a double bed. Pull out couch? Well there wasn’t room to pull it out to even try. Pictures using a fishbowl lens…. I should have known better. Coat rack falling off wall, slider to 3” wide doesn’t open but 1/4 of the way… because the room is leaning to the front of the building. Bathroom was clean, bonus. Otherwise, room was about 8’x8’. Dark,dingy. $300 a night? They should be ashamed.

The Moulton is the definition of New England hospitality. A 100 year old hotel that is clean and well furnished with new mattresses and crisp linens. Care is given to make the whole space feel relaxing. The location is ideal, and the AC works great. The staff is amazing and treats everyone like family. In fact, the entire hotel makes you feel like you are family. The common area is comfortable and inviting. Complete strangers gather there nightly to visit and share the ocean view. Thank you to the wonderful family that runs the hotel, we had a better vacation for having stayed at the Moulton.

It’s not what I tough it was going to be , they need to fix the place up.

The only thing I didn’t like was it took 20 minutes for the hot water to get warm.

I was apposed to get a queen bed. I got a full and twin bed. Room was small and bathroom was very small. Don't know if the other rooms bigger.

Wish there was more information about the property was not worth the price

Property very run down, balcony slider door would not close all the way, scetchy repairs done to rooms, i felt as though i were staying in a neglected boarding house❗️Pictures of rooms on website are taken with a fish eye lense & are deceiving.

Our room was too small but checked out some other rooms and they were larger. Owner was very nice and accommodating. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Continental Breakfast was basic but fresh. I would stay again but not in the same room.

Small hotel kinda thought that no hot water for showers told the gentleman up front he said should be all set. Ice cold showers 2 days. Had to move microwave to find an outlet to use it no outlets anywhere really to charge things floors looked very dirty and at almost 300 a night I expected a little better. Might as well not have a balcony I’m a little heavier 330 pounds I couldn’t make it to there bed was in the way my kids 13-15 said it was tight out there and the brackets for railing was falling off. The location was perfect, as we were there for the seafood festival, friendly staff, clean. Hotel rooms could use a bit of an upgrade - the lock on the door was falling off, the bathroom towel and toilet paper holders were rigged up with a piece of wood, one bed was very comfortable, the other was sunken in and squeaking. Balcony was nice to sit out and enjoy the view but only fit 2 chairs facing each other.

The only good thing about this property is location, right across is the beach. Other than that, the property is almost ran down, receptionist didn’t speak English, so hard to communicate. The “free parking” ad, is very misleading, not clear. My guests ended up paying $10/night, when I told them that it’s free parking. And last, for the money I paid, I could have gotten much better accommodation. Had a chance to check the are; now, I know better.

Door didn't lock properly, garbage and old matresses in walkway to unit, hot water in building only enough for one very short shower, lots of disrepair in building. Stories of bugs and using car exhaust to rid them, the manager was not willing to talk about any of this

The view was great and central location to everything. The bathroom was ridiculous nothing like the pictures.

Room was nothing like picture. Air conditioning was horrible. Room was very small. Staffwas hard to understand.bell to ring for help was broken.Looks like room hasnt been updated in 50 years.would not re ommend hotel to anyone. Parking was down side street behind pizza shop or on side of road. Received email stating come park car you maybe able to check in early and when arrived like they said i was told checkin was at 2.eventually was allowed i .I cant recommend this place to anyone especially with a family

First off the parking is not guaranteed. so you may or may not have a parking space reserved for you. I did have one the first 2 nights but not the last 2. I had to park on the beach where it was free from midnight to 8am and then get up early and find a space. When I called at midnight to explain this I was told there was nothing that they could do. They did find me a parking space and I got a $100 ticket for parking there. I would say that the place was clean but it is just so old and needs major updating. Bad paint job and bad dry wall in the bathroom. The shower was really small and not all that powerful. The AC unit worked great for the first 4 nights and had some issues that last night we were there. The free breakfast wasn't that bad either. There was also a communication barrier at times. My wife said that the toilet was backup up and she was given toilet paper. Then after explaining that she needed it plunged out, she was given a plunger. Not what we expected. Also the picture is a bit deceiving as the room was very small. This is not the what it is like. I pretty much has a bed and a sofa and not much room for anything else. Also, when we checked in, everything was unplugged so the ice that had built up on the freezer in the little mini fridge, melted all over the floor. I would say it was the cheapest but you do get what you pay for.

Hotel staff was very pleasant. Picture of room not at all what room looked like (was very small and cramped; hardly enough room to walk around). Was a bit of bait and switch.

every thing was good except have to wake up at 2 am for bed bug issue

Room was perfect for us right under the fireworks. It was beautifully. A little outdated but worth every penny.

Excellent staff and very clean rooms.

The staff was very accommodating and kind. The room had two beds and one mattress was so horrible I can't imagine how anyone could sleep on it.

This is just not handicapped accessible. Steep stairs to get into check in and filthy then more steep stairs to room worse part is no parking in a very busy area breakfast was horrible I saw attendance refill bread with bare hands the Room was ok Linens were the only thing nice. Balcony is ridiculous. Never again we ended up paying $20 to park in a public parking

On A street- great easy walk to everything beach location. Great balcony to sit and watch the beach and other vacationers.

Great location. Next to beach, shops, restaurants and entertainment. Offers a decent complimentary breakfast. But hotel is very rundown. Extremely small & tight washroom. Offers free outdoor parking but very tight spots.

1st time there. Staff was super friendly and accommodating! Comfy beds and clean newer bathrooms was a good point. However the wifi does not reach the 3rd floor rooms and internet was down even in lobby for many hours. Had to rely on our cell data so made the stay a bit pricy with currency exchange roaming charges. But overall happy with our stay
