Missing power and nobody came to see us

The Dockside Inn was a small (12 bedrooms) in a very old (1931) building but it was up to my expectations.

Hospitality, Location, View, Helpful, Food ...all AMAZING. I'm not sure where to begin to to say thank you to The Dockside for a perfect 3 night stay. Mike, the owner, was amazing - welcoming, so kind, flexible, generous with his time on recommendations, and, and, and, and, and! His son Kyle was a delight every morning at breakfast - fun, playful and amazing. Heather ...Diane ...also so warm and kind. Even their cousin who doesn't even work there took the time to make my Mom's bucket list stay perfect. The view from The Dockside can't be beat out of any of the other properties in Lunenburg. The food - delicious - try teh Lunenburg Scallops. Location is PERFECT - can walk everywhere AND quiet for a great nights sleep. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in town. Note: there are no main stream hotels in the area -- so if you are looking for traditional 4 & 5 star hotels with all the amenities, fancy stuff ....this is not your town. But you'll be missing out if you don't stay and experience this gorgeous town and its people.

We had a big surprise. We found a suite overlooking the bay and it was beautiful. Living room dining table, kitchen,bath and 2 queen beds. Magnificent!!!

A lot of character - From the front desk staff to the room I loved the room itself - Spacious - a little time-worn - with a great view Bathroom - needs some repairs - shower tap - broken toilet roll dispenser etc

The dockside is a great location for doing everything in Lunenberg! The in house restaurant is so convenient as well! Great for families!

Great location with a great view of the harbor. Room is very clean and liked that it had a fridge. Ben was comfortable definitely will be back.

Room was wonderful! Imagine my surprise when my room was flooded with spot lights because of a filming across the street! The phone and WiFi were the only problem. The need to dial 9 to get the desk plus the WiFi password should be posted IN THE ROOM!instead I had to go down all those statues and back up again! I am old, that is not an option!

This was a fantastic in for our family of 6 people. With a full kitchen, large amount of square feet and three beds, we were comfortable in the room. It was also right on the main street and walkable to everything Lunenburg has to offer

You'll have to park on the street and pay for parking after 11am. Great to visit when the Bluenose II is docked as it is right in front of the property.

We had a very spacious suite overlooking the harbour. Fantastic view! Suite was just as described and as seen in the photos.

Stayed for 3 nights in a spacious harbour view suite with kitchenette, no complaints there as the location was amazing - super clean, AC that works well, close to all kinds of wonderful restaurants, cute shops and Fisheries Museum. However building is very old, everything's a bit dated and there are no elevators. However that's no biggie for us - we would definitely book again!

They need a designated parking spot to unload your luggage they do not have parking. You park on the street with meters or you can go across the road and park in a parking lot @$20.a day.

I love the Dockside! Friendly staff. Beautiful view from our room. Right on the wharf and so lovely. Dessert is delicious. Would stay here next time I’m in Lunenburg.

Awesome view of the harbour and close to everything.

The property was on the water, so, great views. But, no parking, and no wifi. The carpet in the room was stained and the bathroom had no bathmats, the floor was very slippery when it got wet.

Well located hotel with spectacular view but it does not have hotel feeling. Reception seems like a place where you order fast food and the person we checked-In with was not friendly.

Quick and friendly check in. Staff member moved his car so i could park right outside.

You couldn’t get a better view if you tried and the staff fell over themselves to make sure that you had everything you wanted. Great room awesome dining and a beautiful view when your on holidays you can’t ask for anything more would rebook in a heart beat 😊

Gorgeous view, great location, nice clean room, very nice people who work there. Restaurant breakfast was good too!
