When reservation made, it was thought to be for the Iron Horse Inn in Deadwood, not Whitewood. On arrival in Deadwood to check in, it was realized that the reservation was wrong and had just thrown away $140!
After visiting with both "Inns" the conclusion was that this happens quite often. I think that Hotels.com needs to be more specific when one is searching for hotels in Deadwood, not for the Black Hills proper, and that the two places having the same name should be made clear to the person making the reservation. I know the responsibility falls on the reserving person but I still feel that Hotels.com should at least reimburse me for 1 nights stay just because the reservation process is misleading as to the location.

Very basic. No phone in the room, no table or chairs. Just two beds and a bathroom

Nice clean place and very fair price. Only thing I didn’t like was the bed. Woke up with a really sore lower back. Bar/Grill next door was nice.

It's a no frills clean Motel. No fridge no microwave. Nice little rooms without paying for the posh crap noone needs for a traveling thru the area stay.

Our stay was great. They do whatever they can to accommodate bikers during the rally. I even lost my Fitbit while there and they found it and sent it to me. That’s awesome guest service! Will definitely stay there again.

Room was pretty clean except for the tortilla chips between the bed and the night stand. Check in went smoothly. Just a one night stay. Close to Deadwood.

Second stay, We will be back. Convenient place for anything you might want to do. Nice little bar and quick place to grab a bite to eat. Easy to find.

This place obviously caters to the biker folks, and that's all well and good, but for a solo or family, it might be a bit noisy with bikes coming and going. Not the cleanest motel I've been in. A bit old and could use an upgrade for sure.

Very small rooms, no dresser, refrigerator or coffeemaker. Having a restaurant ( bar/grill) next door was nice, though.

It is the 3rd time I have stayed here, they have nice , clean rooms I also like the cover over the motorcycle parking

The staff were extremely friendly and helpfull. The place is older and it's pretty basic, but for the price and availability during Sturgis well I was Happy! No frills. Clean and convenient. The food was pretty good next door.

Stayed for one night as I was passing through the area. The room was clean...shower was hot with good water pressure...bed was comfortable with clean, fresh smelling linens.
Only negative was that they only have ice for sale by the bag....couldn't fill my travel mug with ice water as the adjacent restaurant wasn't open when I left early the next morning.

Great value, love that I can park my Harley at front door and not worry about cars hitting it. Toilet was a little small and no fridge or microwave, but restaurant next door made up for it.

At first we were a little skeptical because it looks like a "biker motel". We were pleasantly surprised with the staff & room! It was safe, clean, quiet, friendly, and cozy! Would definitely stay again in this little gem of a place!!
