Great nights stay, exceptionally spacious room. Great value.

The walls were paper thin - I could hear conversations on both sides of my room. Other than that it was a completely hotel.

TV did not work. Breakfast was minimal.

Absolutely everything we needed. The staff was beyond freindly and helpful. While the room might could do with some updating, it was clean and comfortable. Loved being about to hear seals from the balcony. Would absolutely stay again.

We stayed overnight at the Ocean View Inn. It was very clean and spacious. The only downsides was the bed were not the most comfortable but they worked. And breakfast was very light. Cereal. Bagels. Etc. A waffle maker and syrup would have made the stay great! Overall, the Ocean View treated us well and was a clean quiet stay for an overnight stop to get off the road and take showers and get some rest.

We always stay here on our trips to Crescent City and will continue to do so! The staff have always been pleasant and welcoming, the rooms are always very clean and comfortable with plenty of floor space, and the ocean views are gorgeous!

Room was clean and spacious, everyone was friendly and helpful, conveniently located nearby food and fun. The only downside was limited choices for the breakfast - cereal, bagel, oatmeal, yogurt - would have been nice to have hard boiled eggs, muffins, etc

Passing through and it was a good place to spend the night, no complaints. Bed was comfy, and room large.

Maybe I was expecting too much because of past reviews, but I want impressed. The room smelled like wet dog. It was on the bottom floor, so the "ocean view" was more of a flatland view. Our room was next to the laundry room, so we could hear non stop tumbling and whirring sounds all night. The breakfast was just bagels and cereal. Any one of these wouldn't have been a big deal, but all the little things added up to make this a disappointing stay.

We really appreciated the affordability of the stay, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Somehow our booking for two nights on the app only booked one night in their system... we were fortunate that we were staying during the off season and they were able to accomodate our second night. The staff member was very helpful in securing our accomodations for the second night. The room was spacious and clean. The facilities more than adequate. My only complaint... and its kind of a big deal... the bed. The bed was hard as a rock and excruciatingly uncomfortable. Im writing this review a week later and my back still hurts... The mattress feels cheap... which is, im sure directly associated with the rate we paid. With so few options, and this one being one of the higher rated choices in the area, i suppose you get what you pay for... Will I be back? Probably... mostly becausr I'll know what to expect.

As always, Oceanview housekeeping have done a remarkable job. The room and bathroom very clean. Check in/out was professional and friendly.

The staff was nice. The furnishings are dated but comfortable. There was a bay horn that blew every minute that we heard throughout the night.

Having continental breakfast was very convenient

I booked the room with a jacuzzi. After a long drive from San Francisco, I was told there were no rooms with a Jacuzzi available as they were booked. So we paid for a room we didnt get. We stayed in Room 318. Girlfriend woke up to use the bathroom and killed a cockroach and another bug she couldn't identify. If we hadn't already paid for the weekend, we wouldn't have stayed..

The linens (bedding and towels) are old and very low quality. The amenities are basic and next time I'd bring my own soap. However, as far as hotels go in Crescent City, I've been in far worse. At least it felt somewhat safe. The free breakfast was very disappointing. Opted out and drove to starbucks.

We like the location and view. Staff is always friendly. Breakfast is very basic; a grab and go style. Rooms are nice especially the view.

I usually avoid leaving bad reviews, but this place shook me and changed the course of our trip. The rooms are warm and have beds, decent amenities, so it was okay to spend a night. That being said, it was uncomfortable from the moment we entered. The staff were cold and unkind, the hotel from parking lot, to lobby, to room was a very uncomfortable feeling that I can’t explain easily. I don’t usually believe in ghosts, but our TV had a mind of its own and our AC unit started ticking loudly even when unplugged. This is what had us desperate to leave after one night, as people with sound sensitivities especially. There is also a foghorn nearby that sounds every 8 seconds, and this is important to know if staying anywhere in Crescent City. I don’t want to negatively affect this business, but also want people to be aware of what they’re going into. When I checked out a day early the (I think) manager seemed angry and criticized how little I booked the room for. I was very relieved to leave.
