Their staff need to learn some customer service
Guy at the reception was not too courteous.
Other than that I like the place.

Great place for a short or extended stay, good food and nice pool. I would upgrade a bit the rooms to make it perfect

The stay here was fine. Not really exceptional but not bad either. Considering this is a beach town I didn't really expect more. The staff was not very friendly but they weren't rude either. This was just less than what we had experienced in other parts of the country. I did love that it was directly across from the beach and there were a couple of nearby places to eat. Everything else was in town which was a long walk or a $4 taxi ride... one way. Not bad. The worse thing here was the birds living in the roof, made noise all night long above my bed.... and the power outages which are standard there but bad if you are trying to sleep and there's no AC.

Great location. Stayed there last year and went back again. The free breakfast was good. The restaurant closes early which is too bad as the food is wonderful.

Was surprisingly awesome. I was not expecting such a cool environment. I was out of the hotel most of the time but the rooms were very cool with bunk beds and bed frames were made of native wood. I do wish the breakfast menu had more options.

Pros: location is great across from the beach and near some decent restaurants), room is large and clean. Cons: hard bed with ill-fitting sheets.

About the only thing to be said in its favour was its proximity to the beach. The first room I was given was dark and depressing and stank of damp and was decidely unhealthy. The second was better but had thin walls,´a shared balcony, thin walls and therefore little privacy. The shower head was broken and there was no hot water on the wash basin to shave. The staff were pleasant but didn´t really go out of their way to arrange trips etc. The pool was tired looking and the whole place looked ¨run down´ and when it rained everything became muddy. No real effort was made to provide drinks or food after breakfast and the
whole place seemed to descend into darkness after dusk.

Paying $90 a night should include breakfast. There were mosquitos in the room and didn't have some basic things like coffee, water, shampoo, iron microwave, fridge etc. The a.c. worked well which was out most important amenity and front desk people were great. The breakfast was overpriced and service wasn't very good. It was in front of the beach, but I would rather walk a block and save some money. They do not offer what a $90 per night hotel should offer. The beds were nice pretty wood. Another thing we didn't like was there is no chair in the room. We had to bring in a rocking chair from the deck to work on the computer.

This hotel is excellent and directly across from the beach. Just down the road is Tasty Waves which is a great restaurant and Caribeans coffee shop which has excellent coffee! We went there twice every day! The hotel staff are very informative and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Decent Hotel with pretty surroundings & beach. Downside is it is 2 km away from town. Town is a 35 minute walk or $4 cab ride away.

Four friends and I stayed the weekend for my birthday. We shared the family room and it fit our needs perfectly. The hotel is right next to a beautiful beach with great swimming and surfing. We enjoyed the free breakfast everyday. Also, the rooms were clean and had air conditioning which was a huge plus considering the weather!

Value for the location was agreeable. By no means a 5 star but great location.
