Easy check in and very convenient location close to the university

Hotel is really nice and comfortable.

This hotel is very clean and all of the employees are most helpful. Big screen tv 's in the lobby along with a small bar that has a nice happy hour. Our room was immaculate! Perfect location with 15 minute access to Carmel and Monterey. Will be back again.

Clean and safe. Convenient to Monterey attractions and on site parking is no extra charge.

We were very pleased with the room and the property. Very modern and convenient, would highly recommend especially for families. The trundle bed sofa was incredibly convenient. Awesome bathroom.

Good service

The hotel is nice but the climate control in the room was less than ideal. The bench built over the ac/heating unit pushed the output of air onto the bed. Combined with the thermostat being in the lounge area on the other side of the room it was either way too hot or way too cold air blowing on the bed. Otherwise it was a nice hotel.

Very decent and fairly new hotel with a good breakfast buffet, indoor pool and an exercise room. Fire pits in the yard were nice for cool Monterey nights. Only thing was that the rooms were getting warmer without any heater in a cool fall weather of Monterey area. We tried two rooms and they were the same. So, to keep it pleasant, it needed to cool using the AC unit which is right next to one of the beds. So, not very pleasing to have AC to blow right next to you at night.

Lets start with the positives. 1. The rooms are a great size, plenty of room for our family of 5. 2. Breakfast was tasty, and offered a variety for our many eaters. 3. Easy check in and check out. 4. Close to other amenities, ex. Food and retail shops across the street (anyone for the last minute Target run?) 5. Roof top is awesome! Excellent view! 6. The closet is huge! Now for a few less positive, but they weren't deal breakers for us. 1. The breakfast seating is limited. While the rooms cater to larger families (more than 4 ppl) the tables in the breakfast area do not. Most are 2 seats, and not many of those. 2. The pool is on the small side (gets crowded with only a few kids) 3. The bathroom in the guestroom is terribly designed! Its an awkward entrance into the shower. There is no way to turn on only 1 light, and the door to the bathroom is translucent! This means when someone gets up to use the restroom or take a shower while others are sleeping then the bathroom light shines on everyone in the room. If you have sound sleepers it may not be a problem; if you have light sleepers get ready to use the potty in the dark.

Our go to when in the Monterey area for extended stays.Conveniently located to food and shopping. Down the road from CSUMB campus. Facilities are well kept,clean rooms, beds clean and comfortable,bathrooms very sanitary towels plentiful Front staff was excellent helpful, accommodating and welcoming. Big shout out to Riley, I hope that was his name, old eyes lol,very friendly and helpful.Overall this place makes for a great stay.

Loud construction noise in the early AM. Called for more towels the second day and never received it. Also room was not cleaned the second day. Weird sound from the drainage when another room is taking a shower.

Nice and clean room. Wireless key, breakfast was great too.

New hotel

Nice place to stay. Convenient location. Several restaurants within walking distance.

We liked how new this hotel is, however we found immediately there are wet spots at the bottom of the AC unit, brought it up to the front desk and possibly to change a room. Unfortunately, we are disappointed for the fact that they just sent a person to our room to turn up the Temperature-no follow up on changing room or sending a technician. By the third day staying in the room the wet spot has gotten bigger.

Big room, we had 2 beds and extra sofa; nice and courteous front desk; close to a mall ; breakfast was below average .

First time in Monterrey and the hotel was great. Our first night the bartender was rude but the second night he was in a better mood.

One night stay at this resort not worth it for the price. They charge you a $75 Marina fee tax. For the high price they charge just to stay there is not even worth it. The pool is small, they don’t have a lot of parking, and do not have a lot of amenities to enjoy. Do not plan to stay here again. There are better hotel than this that are worth the price you pay.

We had a situation in our room and the staff was great about switching our rooms in a timely manner.

We were told that it was 5 minutes away from the beach and that was untrue.

The room is very nice and spacious. Great view, and clean bathroom. Overall, nothing was broken when we used it.

This hotel was very conveniently located. Was a 21 minute drive to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Cannery area. It’s next to a commercial shopping area with a Target, REI and lots of chain restaurants. Breakfast was adequate, parking was convenient and the rooms were large. My only complaint is that the rooms could’ve been cleaner. There was still hair in the shower from the last guest and gunk on the wallpaper in the bathroom near the sink and toilet which I had to clean myself with bleach wipes to keep from getting too grossed out. Otherwise was a good choice for families with kids.

It was nice and comfortable. My family enjoyed the indoor pool a lot. Breakfast each morning was nice as well. We will be back for another visit.

The walls are paper thin, so I could hear my neighbor snoring all night. I walked to the front desk to complain, and the person at the front desk was very nice. Unfortunately, all he could offer were earplugs and some free snacks. The paper plates and utensils are wasteful, and the gym floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in awhile. Otherwise, the room felt clean and the staff were friendly

I got charged for the room eventhough it was prepaid

I booked two rooms with ocean view, but you could barely see the ocean! We also asked for rooms to be close to each other but ended up in level 2 and level 4!!!

This hotel did Train the staff and the girl That was working charged me double for the room. I booked they Expedia and you have to pay right away, but when we got to the hotel late that night she charged me again for the room. Before the check out in the morning I noticed that. Asked the guy to refund me and he said he will try. He tried to make it Expedia, which they don’t have nothing to do with it, as it was charged directly to my card that only deposit was going to go on there. Still waiting for my money. I told him the girl should pay attention, and tell the customer what she is charging, not just roll her eyes and pretend to be happy at her job. Horrible horrible. This is not $20 dollars or $500

Loved how it was centrally located near dining and shopping. The hotel states it has a restaurant, but truly DOES NOT! It's a bar with appetizers. Customer service was amazing. The clerk up front was very friendly. Things were tidy and clean, which I appreciate. We will absolutely stay here again in the future!
