Rustic lodge in the heart of Yosemite, with EV charging and dynamite views. Great amenities and quality staff.

We had an amazing weekend! The hotel and its staff were very nice and accomodating.

Everyone was super nice, including the servers at The Mountain Lounge. They made our 10 year anniversary extra special and was a highlight of our trip. Excellent food, drinks, environment and awesome customer service at The Mountain Lounge. Unfortunately, we cannot say we felt/experienced the same with our room. As soon as you walked in, there were these finger smudges in the long mirror against the wall. There was a whole bunch of crunchy dirt with glitter on the bathroom floor and a used piece of crusty floss right under the toilet paper roll area near the bathtub. I bent over to grab something that fell under the sink and saw all these cob webs. The bathtub was really clean (I hope) and everything else seemed okay for the most part. The bed was SOO HARD!!! I was so bummed out. I had the worst sleep I’ve ever had in any hotel. There was only 1 good pillow out of the 6, which we gave to our daughter. All the other pillows were stiff and uncomfortable. After a couple of hours of trying to sleep, my back and sides began to ache and feel sore. I spent the entire night tossing, turning, using a pillow, removing a pillow, back sleeping, stomach sleeping, and nothing but aches, pains and discomfort. We were not well-rested. The comfort/cleanliness of the room is most definitely not worth $300 a night. We had credit with hotels.com and paid a difference of $90. The $300 is for location convenience and that’s it. Will we stay again? No. Will we dine in at Mountain Lounge? Yes.

Absolutely beautiful location. Room was warm & cozy but needs to be updated. Carpet needed a good cleaning. Would have liked a microwave.

The check in time was not until 5:00pm but because we came to see the fire falls we were not able to check in to our room until after dark. We managed to get one of the closer parking spots which was still more than five minute walk to our room, our own flash lights are needed. We needed to make several trips because you cannot leave any food or coolers in the car. If you are on the second floor, there is no elevator. The hotel doesn’t have microwaves in the room because there is not enough power. The heater in the room only blew cold air but the plug in space heater was able to heat the room. The TV did not work even after doing what was suggested to unplug everything for an hour. I was told the TVs are old and don’t work. Then the power went out in the whole complex for five hours. There was power in the lobby and in the restaurants, I guess run by generators. Because it was so dark, the stars were beautiful. It’s so convenient being right there in the valley but I’m not sure it’s worth the other inconveniences. Check out was 10:00 am.
No power for microwaves but they do have charging stations for electric cars.

Great to actually stay in the park and was convenient to front desk, gift shop, and dining.

Room was very dated but clean. Power went out for 4 hours but at least it was at night. Can’t beat the scenery!

Yosemite in winter is breathtaking. However, getting around the propery was challenging. Slippery and at times dangerous, especially at night.

Wifi didn't work and they said it has been down for a while. The bar/restaurant was understaffed, no clean table open, we sat for about 5min and no one even came to check on us. Probably because it's winter...

I like very much the location of the Lodge, is unique.
I don't like the condition of the rooms. They are very old, dirty, poorly lit and with extremely noisy air conditioning.

I loved the view from my room, seeing the gorgeous side of Sentinal dome was inspiring. The building itself is old and could use lots of remodeling but that’s the charm of the place I think.

Always so convenient for valley floor activities and access. It’s a bit pricey for what you get, can hear outside noise and nearby conversation both outside and in neighboring rooms, but the accommodations do the job. We were a bit mislead and told that to get reservations at the nearby mountain room require you being there to ask for one, our fault for not looking into that more in advance. The easy dining spot has been significantly upgraded since the last time I stayed as a kid. Decently priced food to access and quick service too! Made my winter trip to Yosemite very pleasant.

Perfect location, worth every penny to sit on my balcony and watch and hear a waterfall. Accomodations are not 5-star, but they are great and everything you need is walking distance (including the park and a lounge and a restaurant).

The food options available during our stay were disappointing. The Base Camp Eatery food is of average quality and over-priced for what it is. We expected to pay a little more as there aren’t really any other options, but we expected the food to be of a better quality. The bar did not sell hot food which was disappointing for winter when you are coming in out of the snow, and they ran out of the salads they were selling very quickly. It seemed as though they were understaffed as the staff were rushing around; it should be said they were very courteous and friendly, they just seemed a little stretched. We had a great weekend in Yosemite, but the only thing going for the hotel is the location.

Check in was unfriendly and unhelpful. Had to walk outside in snowy weather to get to room. Outdoor signage was unlit and could not see in the dark so it took 20min to find our room. Only heat in the room was a space heater. No WiFi in room. All good service was disappointing, we tried both restaurants on site and food was cold at each Neal. The staff (with the exception of the check in experience) were all very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.
The experience of staying in the park was unforgettable despite the inconveniences

Room clean. It was nice being near the restaurants and office. Our tv did not work but we didn’t go to Yosemite to watch tv so we didn’t complain. Overall all it was a good room at a reasonable price. It’s hard to have a bad time in Yosemite no matter how good or bad your room is.

The room is quiet and well furnished. The renovation is rustic and stylish. We like the balcony access, but unfortunately, the venting thing on the door to the balcony is broken. The shower pressure is less than ideal, but considering it's located inside the Park, we are grateful to just have a shower. The only major disappointment is the lack of Wi-Fi in the room. You have to walk to the lobby which is in a whole different building to use their Wi-Fi.
