It was a great view and I loved being on the top floor! Location was great too. Easy to get to everything we needed. Neighbors were very nice as well! We would definitely be back!

All was great

Very basic room. Bed is a little hard. Lots of traffic noise. But it was relatively inexpensive.

The room needed new carpet, dresser, nightstand and a mattress. My first and my last time.

Major issue with the TV . Remote didn't work, only a few channels, very basic cable. Major pixelation problem. Watched 30 minutes worth, them went to bed.
Not sure why a major hotel can't sort out a TV issue. After a long day of driving I like to unwind watching TV before bed. Major disappointment. Everything else was just average.

The place looked great online however in person it smelled like wet dog. The paint was chipping and the beds were uncomfy. Also smelled like pot had been smoked. However the front desk lady was super nice and there were snacks you could purchase.

This is yet another old motel/hotel getting ready to die. Property is just not kept up, and it's just a place to spend the night and leave. The front office staff was very nice, and it was good that they had a little room for the heat & eat breakfast crap, but overall it needs work. The light fixtures were dull and cracked and some not working.

Truly Hidden Gem!

Felt safe and secure. All my needs where met moreover.

When I arrived after the 3pm check in time, I was assigned a room where, when I got there, still had the cleaning in progress. I was assigned a room in another building.
The cleaning service did a great job - but, the condition of the hotel is less than desirable. The bed was super hard - and no room to spare in the room.
I had wanted to take a nice, hot bath - but the tub was in such poor condition, I did not.

One of the queen size beds in our room was old sagging, and squeaky, the other bed was newer and comfortable. Most of the plug in’s for recharging our phones were not working. It was very noisy because of freeway traffic.

I liked that they gave me a couple of Advil without charge.

The bed is absolutely terrible! It’s not a joke, the springs were poking through, the mattress was caved in, unfriendly “supervisor”. The facility is not cleaned it’s just “spot cleaned” meaning if it don’t look dirty they clearly didn’t clean it.
Mold in the rooms. Do your self a favour and definitely stay at Clackasmas inn and suites. Beds are comfortable and actually smells clean.

Read other reviews for theft. Front desk ran a scam on us re-rented our room for cash kept $400 laughed at me and kept Orbitz deposit. Owners are thieves you know you have bad management. This place needs management and new owners.

Overall situation is better than I estimated, bedding and shower area is pretty clean considering the hotel ranking and price you paid. Of course a lot of the amenities are worn out and broken, desk in the room or the breakfast area are not clean (food is quite limited). All in all, you get what you paid for, but not a intolerant place to stay. Staff are Okie and attentive. One more piece, the location is very close to freeway and all 6 buildings are facing rushing traffic all the time, light sleepers should definitely avoid this place.

Blue collar value property.

The cleaning staff doesn’t really clean. Sock lint on the bathroom floor. Furniture surfaces not wiped. Walls ignored. That can be a little disturbing. Depending on what the people prior to use splashed on the walls. They left a toilet paper roll with one, seriously one, little square of toilet paper. They don’t restock the coffee machine if you have one in your room. At least not consistently. It’s just the little lazy things. The ownership is lucky to have some pretty good staff members in the office that need to carry their own health insurance. But apparently the job pays low enough so they can qualify for OHP. This could easily be a four-star hotel with a little more attention to the cleaning aspect. But then that might raise the price. So maybe we don’t want them to get all professional about it. We’ve got to have some options we can reasonably afford. This is more of a an in between housing option for folks in the area, maybe just moved here and got a job. And have to wait for their apartment. And have to commute up to an hour every day because the places they can qualify for are Hella far out. It’s a good place to practice paying a lot of money for gas to get to work. And time gettin to and fro. Not really a business stay over place. Unless you work for a cheap company or have someone staying in the hospital nearby. Some of the nearby businesses aren’t too keen on queer folk. You might get ‘Portland Nice’ from a few. But overall, a good experience for my sitch.

The room was chilled before we arrived on a hot day, the room was clean and the Continental breakfast was great and well stocked.

Older property, badly needed maintenance in some areas of the room. But it was very clean amd the staff was very nice. Very convenient for visiting the hospital.

It is closed to a hospital that makes me feel a bit weird. Otherwise, it is good for the price.

I have stayed at a lot of motels and never have I ever had to request a cleaning of my room on any given day. Twice I had to ask for service on a 7 day stay. They started to drop off towels and take out the garbage but would never make the bed or clean the floor. My worst stay ever.

This was by far the worst establishment I’ve ever stayed at in my life and I travel quite a bit. The room was disgusting and smelled terrible. Everything was overpriced and the woman at the front desk could not have been more rude and spiteful. I will be filing other reviews and reports.

Didn't have a room like I needed as reserved

The drain was clogged in the shower and there was hair left on the wall and shower curtain. I can’t blame housekeeping for that because when the drain isn’t maintained how can they truly clean. I could feel the springs inside the mattress pushing against my back.

Toilet paper would be nice before I sit down

The exterior was a little out dated and the room was too but everything was operational. The beds are hard and noisy and the pillows are terrible. They didnt explain that if you want rooms cleaned you have to request it at the front desk but they did refresh towels without request. It was quiet in the sense that other guests werent loud. I couldnt hear the neighbours but the motel is next to a busy highway which was noisy at times to be expeced. The staff seemed very friendly. I'd stay there again but bring my own pillow at least.

The walls had splotches where past color was poking through. One of the main lights for the room was broken and wobbly. The dresser was missing an entire drawer. Housekeeping didn’t come (1 day we did have the do not disturb up but the other we didn’t and they never came). The breakfast was more of a grab and go situation that was very lacking. They had shampoo, conditioner, and lotion but no body wash or soap in the room at all. There may have been some blood or mess on the wall near the ceiling. The headboards were beat up and the beds were awful. Anytime you moved at all, even a tiny wiggle, it made the loudest squeaking sound. The bed dipped in some places and was more uncomfortable than any air mattress I’ve ever been on. It seems like they went to ikea and got the cheapest and most uncomfortable beds they had. The price was absolutely atrocious compared to the quality. I would’ve had better quality and cheaper rates staying at a motel 6. We will definitely not be back. Ever.
The highlights from the trip and honestly the only redeeming qualities were the service we received from the employees (they were so friendly and had amazing attitudes!) and the Halloween decorations! This was not worth the money in any way! I wish I had taken pictures of all the things we saw…
