Perfect place for couples to stay. Nice, quiet , secluded property in the center of town. Wife and I had a pleasant two day stay. Hosts were awesome and prepared a fantastic breakfast in the mornings. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. 100/100 would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed viewing the property. The Breakfast was unbelievable, one of the highlights of the trip. The hosts made us feel right at home and we can’t wait to stay again.

The Farview is a trip back in time to a beautiful 1925 home with exquisite architecture and amenities. Steve is a super nice guy who fixed us an amazing breakfast!

Far View was a beautiful house built in 1925 . The town doctor built the house for his wife and children.
Our room was on the first floor with a private bath. It was very clean and comfortable. It was the original
library and still filled with old books and new books to read.
Every room is decorated for Christmas and it is very charming. You know the saying “ if walls could talk”
I know the stories that would come out make your stay even better.
I recommend Far View if you are going to Brenham.The owners couldn’t have been any
nicer. But you need to find out for yourself .

This property is lovely. It's surrounded by trees so you can't even tell it's in a neighborhood. The owners were friendly and hospitable. And the food was a delicious work of art. I definitely plan to return.

We enjoyed our stay in the Blue Room. The night we stayed there were no other guests, so all was very quiet and private. The breakfast was excellent and very well set up for guests. I enjoyed the history of the house and how well it has been restored and kept up since it was a premier showhouse in Brenham. Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful place to stay. I stayed for two nights along with other family members. The people are nice, and it was a quiet and comfortable place to stay. I appreciated that it was very clean. I plan on going back with my husband sometime soon. One small thing - it's a small business so I totally get it, but they do not ask about dietary restrictions. So you might have to leave out parts of breakfast if you have sensitivities. But it was delicious anyway. Absolutely charming.

The Far View B& B is a quaint little place in the middle of Brenham Texas. We stayed in the Library room.The bed was very comfortable and the a/c was very cold. Mr Steve was super friendly and made us a very filling, tasty breakfast. The grounds are very nice and it was very reasonably priced. Will stay again.

Steve and Lynda were perfectly lovely hosts! The house is very nice, our room was good and there is a beautiful pool on site. The breakfast was phenomenal every day! We found things to do in town and had a wonderful and relaxing 5 days. We plan to visit again in the future.

We stayed in the Carriage House and it was charming for a girls' weekend. The proprietors are lovely and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! Plenty of A.C., as well as hot water for the luxurious deep tub. The cabana and grill on property must be seen to be appreciated. Highly recommended for a romance weekend or a family gathering.

Far View was even better in person than I expected! Super easy check in with great welcome note, gorgeous grounds, and a perfect room! It reminded me of the Hemingway House on Key West with all the lush greenery, gorgeous pool, and an occasional cat. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the hosts were so welcoming. I'll definitely be staying here again.

Garden Room was small but all I had was an overnight stay and it had all I needed and I slept like a baby even though it stormed ... I barely noticed..and had an amazing breakfast the next morning! Loved the homey feeling!

We have stayed here several times, but usually check through the B&B site and not through Expedia. This trip was a last minute decision, and I did not think that a room would be available here. So, I was surprised when Expedia showed an opening, so I booked it pronto. Food and service was top shelf as usual. It is early in the spring, but the grounds could do with a bit of face lift.

Comfortable, old inn/house. Grounds not kept up too well, but the Texas weather can make that a challenge, I know. So, not really a knock on management. Struggled to find a decent place to eat in Brenham, nearby. Again, not the fault of Far View. Space really cramped. But the low-low price reflected this. For us, an acceptable compromise. Not often, get opportinuty to stay in a historic site. Would recommend to those wanting a cozy experience, and willing to forgo modern amenities. Short visit was pleasant.
