Cool building, stain glass, history of the place was interesting. Has a cool wine/drink bar. Ashley was very helpful and nice. We took a wine and a drink to sit on their patio. Very pretty sitting out there. Our room was nice and big. Couldn't get the tv to work, but no biggie. Our complaint was when we went to bed, all night in the room next to us, they were working in there, sounded like moving ladder and sounded like someone walking with a cane to move things, then quiet for a bit then it'd start all over again. Not much sleep for us...

Beautiful grounds and a historic building with very comfortable and large rooms. Ghostly activity was at a minimum, so we slept very well. Would recommend to paranormal adventurers!

Super quick and easy check in, wonderful staff and beautiful grounds.

Great stay. Fun space, friendly staff, and lots of room to hangout with friends. I plan on making this my yearly birthday destination.

I found this jewel by accident. I would have given 5 stars but couldn't adjust the thermostat and ig was cold in the room, also no coffee cups in the room. Didn't realize that until the morning. Bar is cute and their wine is surprisingly good

The bathroom in room 4 was marvelous. Fully remodeled, modern, clean, bright and well appointed (lots of fluffy white towels!)
The rest of the room was not great. Poorly lit, no decorative pieces of any kind. No pictures on the walls. A Keurig with no cups. Gritty floors, huge dust balls behind the bed. The bed was moderately comfortable but above it was a huge ceiling grate probably 20x20 so that we were looking into a huge pipe. The grate was coated with dust. Very disgusting and very creepy.
This property was an old OddFellows home. It is rundown in many areas inside as well as outside. Huge empty hallways, creaky walls and floors, wide gaps around the rooms door and a painted over transom window let in beams of light all night long.
This property leaves much to be desired.
The girl at check in (in the bar) was very sweet.

This property is amazing! Staff is very accommodating and easy going, we had a wonderful visit and will definitely be back!

The property has an interesting history but beyond that the stay did not meet our expectations. The bed sheets were covered in black hair as though they weren't even changed from the previous guest. The room itself had no decor to soften the place and make it feel comfortable. Bare walls and floors made it feel very cold and lacking in character.

Vibe was cool, the service was fine. The rooms were ok but the walls paper thin! You could hear full on conversations not just movement or loud sounds. It was so bad we got up and left at like 8am even though we had late check out. I’m sorry I wanted to live it but that was just awful hearing my neighbors have sex.

Very unique property with tons of history! No ghost encounters but the thrill of the possibility was fun! Rooms were very spacious but could use better shower heads.

Rude unfriendly staff clearly don’t want to deal with customers.
Dirty bathroom, walls paper thin, towels smelled musty.
Don’t tell you that they are closed until 3pm so although we didn’t expect to check in the fact that we drove 3 hours and on arrival at 2.50pm they wouldn’t even open the door to let us use a bathroom. They just hung up and said - not open until 3 then put the phone down on us!!!
Avoid where possible we got much better cleaner experience in Holiday inn and other chain hotels!!!
We traveled from the Uk and stayed in different hotels and this was supposed to be a “treat” to end the trip and was actually the worst most disappointing and dirty place we stayed in!!!

Totally unexpected! This ‘haunted’ inn was so much fun! The hotel’s ambiance was old and unique while the guest rooms were pristine. Loved it!

We adored our stay. The room was spacious and clean. The customer service was phenomenal. I’d love to explore the other rooms at the Inn. This place has been on my to do and I’m so grateful I did. I’d love to see them renovate the other buildings but know that it can expensive. Ashley the bartender was more than willing to answer all of our questions and talk about the paranormal happenings at the location. So thankful for the elevator for at least getting the bags to the room. It’s definitely a piece of history that needs to be visited.

The old orphanage has great character, and the feeling of many untold stories still echoing in the halls and over the expansive lawn.

Lovely stay! Cozy, and fun history. Will come back again. Close to lots of food and shopping. Bartender was lovely and had fun stories. Keep an eye on the Santa animatronic…I think he’s up to something. ;P

Owner met us! Was expecting us. Very welcoming and friendly.

This place was amazing. If you stay during the week when they are not busy, it is very reasonable and so quiet. It is set back from the road quite a ways, and surrounded by fields, and old buildings. The room was actually two rooms. A sitting room, and a bedroom. Both had wood floors. The bathroom was roomy also. There is no breakfast provided, but there was a small kitchen just down the hall with a toaster and microwave. Take time to walk around the grounds and visit the cemetery.

Place is gorgeous. Loved the vintage feel. Quite elegant. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the sort of property I seek out when I'm traveling; full of history, charming, unique. It also helps to lean a little on the gothic side as well :)
When I arrived close to sun-down, I got a glass of red at the bar and wandered up the path to the cemetery. Greeted by deer.
No ghost encounters for me, but plenty of atmosphere.

LOVED staying here! I chose it for the location and unique appearance, but was surprised at how nice it was!!! The building is historic and, at first, appears in need of repair, but that ended up being part of the (haunted) ambiance. The inside is new and beautiful and all amenities are updated. The room was spacious and had a sitting area. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large. We loved the wine bar and visiting the cemetery and especially loved sitting outside under the patio lights and telling ghost stories.

I travel all the time for work and this is one of the top places I’ve ever stayed. Clean, comfortable, and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Lots of history to explore on the property and if you believe in ghosts, the property is supposedly haunted. Also, good wine that they make there available at the bar. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

We had room 9. It was large and comfortable. The property is interesting and the whole site was fun to experience. The wines, which are not made on site, are OK but not great.

There should be signage directing new arrivals to check-in. The suites are roomy and comfy. We'll see whether the rumors of ghosts are true!

The historical property was unique. Unfortunately, the Inn or suites need help. The room was hard to maintain a decent temp. We woke up several times to adjusting the thermostat bc it would reset to a default every hour. The grounds need more attention. Our bartender was short when asked to make a drink that she had all ingredients to make, my husband was told no. Glasses of wine were expensive for the under half full amount we received. The wine and porch were delightful, but I would not stay in the suites again.
TV was available in the bar but only streaming Roku in the room. We couldn’t watch college game
We planned to watch with our bottle wine.
Love the location, history of buildings, but would not stay the night again.
I’d book in downtown Liberty and just visit the Winery.
