This is a newer hotel in suburban NW San Antonio, about a block from the I-10 freeway.
Pro's:
- New hotel, clean
- Great complimentary hott breakfast
- Free parking (but lot was sometime full when they were hosting an event)
- Nice, comfortable rooms
- We enjoyed the evening reception
- Other guests were well behaved when we were there
Con's
- Very noisy bar across the street. We were staying on the other side of the building, and on Friday and Saturday night, it eas still very loud through the window until 1 or 1:30 AM.
- Maybe just employee error, but we had booked/paid for a 2 room suite, and when we went up to the room after check in, we realized they had put us in a one room suite. I went down to the front desk and showed them the reservation and they corrected it and gave us the right room, but since our flight got in late, it was after midnight and it was annoying to deal with when we just wanted to go to bed.
- Pool isn't heated and there is no hot tub. Kids wanted to swim, but they were freezing.

New property it seems. staff was cordial and efficient. room service was perfect. Menu could be a bit more exciting. Beds were soft but very comfortable.

Nice hotel with spacious suite and friendly staff at the front desk. However, there is a serious problem with housekeeping. On our second day, we were skipped over, and I called the front desk twice and my wife called once because nobody had come to empty the trash, or change the towels. I eventually went down to the front desk and complained and they said they would get somebody immediately. Unbelievably, still no one came. The next morning, I called back the front desk and complained one last time, they said they would get somebody right away and make us a priority. Housekeepers came by and they had no clue that we had been made a priority and they gave us an attitude. I would not come back to this hotel again - they need serious work with the housekeeping department

We will stay here anytime we are in the San Antonio area. The hotel is extremely clean, beautiful and in the middle of everything. The staff was extremely friendly and always helpful. Great restaurant and bar on site. Elegantly decorated. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

We had an overall very pleasant stay. Housekeeping was very good and very communicative and kind.

Issues with food service. In the morning breakfast the pancakes were hard. Every single morning. Whatever the situation is with keeping them in that warmer- it dries them out fast. We came right when it opened and they were dry. Also we requested room service that didn’t get sent. Just not great when trying to feed kiddos.

Comfy room. House keeping skipped us the first day. We had do not disturb on our door from 9-11am, left for the day and came back to a dirty room. They expressed we had the DND on the door all day. I requested clean towels so they sent a Spanish speaking only women to my door. She wanted to clean my room and I wanted clean towels. I didn’t speak Spanish and she didn’t speak English. Very frustrating……….. not able to communicate with not a shred of shared language.

We've stayed here before, the hotel is very nice. This time we were next to someone that had a pet and it kept us up all night. The staff only apologized but did not react to our complaint.

The stay was very good, but one of our family members is allergic to dogs, he gets his face swollen. The sofa or the pillows or something about the sofa bed has dog hairs or dog remains. He woke up both mornings with his face swollen.
I would suggest to have rooms and bedding specifically for pets. And pet free rooms and bedding.

Stayed in 414 microwave oven didn’t work, if you showered the water would leak causing big puddle of water, water would making its way to the room. Needed to request more towels due to all the water, as well the toilet would leak on its own. Tv in the bedroom did not work would not get any tv channels. Over all staffing were great, respectful and attentive. Still a great stay I’m not one to complain but the for the price I paid would like those minor flaws fixed for the next guests that stay.

The rooms and hotel were lovely. I liked the room layout and it was a very comfortable space. It was very clean. The food was good and staff were very nice. But the TV didn’t work properly. The engineer came up quickly to fix it but it went back to its original state of not working when it was turned off and back on. I was unhappy with that because it was late and I wanted a TV to help me sleep. The other issue I had with the property was it was extremely noisy. There are a few restaurants close by and they played very loud music until 1am. I did not get much sleep that night.

Terrible arrival ...i spend about 2 hours because the gebtleman at frobt desk let menknow my reservation doesnt exist...of course the hotel was full and i suspect the hotel are noy having enoughs rooms...the front desk terrible service . Dont go there, if they need more rooms , maybe they leave you outside.

Not a good experience. Had issues w the shower water temperature and the room’s tv. Reported both issues and never had anyone address, acknowledge and much less, correct the issues.
Yet they were always ready to offer their points reward program and credit card promos.
It’s not a bad property, we’ve stayed multiple times but this last stay was definitely our last.

I have stayed at other Embassy Suites in San Antonio and this is by far the best one! We enjoyed the breakfast and the Manager's reception. The snacks that were provided during the reception was top notch and the service from the bartenders was excellent. I will always stay at Embassy Suites Landmark from now on!

This is our favorite hotel to stay at when traveling with my son's team. Breakfast is great and it comes in handy when he has early morning games. The beds are very comfortable and all the staff is very friendly! There are also great restaurants at a walking distance and the area is safe.

Two things that i didn't like.
1. As soon as i opened our suite a HUGE cockaroach, my kids started screaming and i was stomping everywhere. But it was only that one, everything was clean as far as i saw.
2. I'm an embassy fan, always liked the roominess but on this ocasion, rooms are alot smaller than the older buildings.
Other than that, very nice, and new building..
