Excellent service and lodgings! It is a family business and very clean and well-kept. Extremely convenient location. This will be my "go-to" place when returning to Santa Monica. Thanks to the family for hosting me! I will most certainly be back.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very accommodating. The room was comfortable and exactly what we needed. The location is ideal—lots in walking distance. Would happily stay here again!

Central location to restaurants, shops and only 2 blocks to beach. Parking is free for hotel guests a big plus.
Free wifi only worked for 1 person.
Street noise can be loud late at night, but that's what you get for being central.
Mini-fridge useful. Lazyboy chair is comfortable.

It’s hard to rate as it’s a very reasonable price for the area but u kinda get what your pay for. Plenty of parking. Felt safe . Just a motel type place to sleep at night.

The motel is handy for most things in Santa Monica and within easy reach of several bars on the street. Our room was well maintained with the exception of one plug socket. No coffee maker but not a big problem. We would have had a good stay there had the occupants in the next room hadn’t had their TV on for 48hrs solid. The receptionist after the first sleepless night couldn’t care less and I complained again on the second night and was given a key to a different room to get a break but this smelled badly of cigarettes. Without these problems it might have been a reasonable stay but the indifferent almost hostile attitude of the first member of staff made it our one and only stay. They never checked the room so I hope the occupants were actually Ok. Sad as I hate leaving reviews like this. The night manager did try but didn’t check the room which have solved the problem instantly.

Check in was easy, we did arrive an hour early so left our luggage in the open reception area. We did not feel comfortable leaving it there but we had no option. Room was ok, often it’s the little things that make it difficult to score higher- bad air conditioner, TV remote control that did not work as it did not match the TV in the room, incredibly noisy area on the weekends, terrible water pressure in the shower. We were thankful for the security gates being locked at night, it made us feel safe. The bottom line is- you get what you pay for.

I enjoyed staying here - close access to the beach and a short walk to the American Film Market venues. I would definitely stay here again.

Night MANAGER had NO problem solving skill. I arrived with bike. He expected me, 75 year old female, to carry Ebike to second floor. Had NO other option. Room was, of course, prepaid. This was ten (10) day bike trip and the first and only time this happened.

I love the convenience to the beaches, and the service was outstanding. The staff allowed us to borrow beach equipment for as long as we wanted, and it was easy for Uber Eats drivers to drop off food at our room. My family and I will definitely book a room here again.

Not the cleanest place... The towels had stains all over them, the sheets also had stains and someone's hair on them... Wish the management did a better job in making sure that the place is clean... Otherwise great location, close to restaurants, Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier.

Amazing location! This is a great option to visit Venice Beach and Santa Monica on a reasonable budget.
We couldn’t have asked for a better spot, this hotel is right in the middle of everywhere you want to go.

Nice hotel, a little dated however this is reflected in the price considering how good a location in Santa Monica it is. Some external noise from nearby bars on a weekend but nothing earplugs doesn’t solve. Very friendly welcome and great service from the hotel staff during our stay. Within walking distance of the beach which is beautiful.

Location was great. Easy walk to great restaurants & the Santa Monica Pier. The beds & room were on the smaller size, but it was doable for a one night stay. Quiet & clean room. Staff was very pleasant & helpful.

Best kept secret in Santa Monica! Clean, inexpensive, super awesome front desk service, free beach stuff to borrow, close to great dining, shopping, and of course the beach. Can’t recommend this place enough, and I’ll definitely return!

Nice little motel with friendly and helpful front desk staff. great location a few blocks from the wonderful beach - nice part with Perry's beach cafe and bike rental, not crowded and good for children. Lots of restaurants nearby, but a lot close early. Except the most noisy one unfortunately.
