I was a little skeptic about the cleanliness

There’s no way that this place should be still open. This place is disgusting to say the least. We had no choice but to ditch the place and find another place. Do not go there!! Expedia should be ashamed of themselves for jacking up the price like they did for this horrible place

Overall the stay was easy and no hassle. The rooms/property are pretty dated but check-in/check-out was simple. Close to boardwalk

Old tired and sketchy

Rent to Adults over 21 years of age to prevent rooms being broken up. Wished the Suite Pots and Pans and Plates were in the room when I checked in on the Twentieth of August. Had to ask several times for pot and pans for cooking meals.

The property was clean! Manager responded back quickly with a text and call when I encountered a problem while on vacation. The air conditioner was a little loud but I was able to sleep through it lol. Will stay again! Thank you!

The Thunderbird motel is very convenient to the Seaside Heights boardwalk. Just a couple of blocks away. The staff at the Thunderbird was very friendly, helpful and addressed any issues at any and all times. If you want a decent and convenient stay near the beginning end of one side of the boardwalk, this is the place to go to.

It was clean. No sand on the floors. The fridge and was small but good for 1 night. The bed was comfortable but older.

Property was a bit dated, but price and photos reflect that. Our room was clean, and bed was super comfortable and just what we needed. Location was great.

I'm currently here with my family (3 kids and husband). The owner was very accommodating. We arrived early and he let us park so we could take the kids to the beach until our room was ready. Everyone has been very friendly. The room is on the small side but has everything we need. It is clean. I reserved a suite with 2 rooms. 1 room has an air conditioner but the other one stays hot. Aside from that, we are happy with the location and will rent from this family again.

Simple, clean, quiet, but not charming. The balcony looks over the road and there's quite a lot of construction going on. The area is a little ugly, but not unexpectedly so. Our suite was spotless, and the AC worked like a charm. The Having a fridge and mini-kitchen was great, but be prepared that there are no supplies: no cups, for example. Customer service was excellent; when there were no parking spots available, a staff member called me back immediately to figure out what to do.

Rooms were old, but very clean would stay there again surrounding area a little rundown but the stay was great. Staff was very friendly.

Convenient location and perfect for a beach trip!

It was fine for what it is. Exactly what I expected and nicely accommodated our family.

The property needs some updating. Most of the doors did not close properly. There was only air conditioning in the one bedroom. There were no dressers or end tables. The refrigerator worked fine and the one air conditioner worked well. The shower was newer but the bathroom itself was dated.

Well kept hotel, easy walk to the beach.

There were issues with the plumbing. People at the hotel were no help. Had to go out and buy a plunger myself. The place was very outdated, and smelled like smoke. Kitchenette area was gross.

This place was definitely an experience and not in a good way. The nicest thing i can say about the place was the room was clean. Also when the lot was full, the woman on call for the front desk was kind enough to direct me to the overflow parking across the street. Now for the bad stuff. The room had no dresser to place our belongings in, but had some shelving next to the air conditioner. The space was small. The air conditioner worked well but was incredibly loud and woke my wife up multiple times during the night. The toilet paper roll was broken. I took cold showers every day because there was no hot water. The window curtain wasn't wide enough to block out the outside light, so the room didn't get very dark at night. There is only 1 set of entrance and exit stairs and a narrow hallway to get to the rooms, which is a fire hazard. For a no amenities hotel in this price range, the minimum I expect is a good night's sleep and hot water to take a shower and i didn't even get that. This wasn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but certainly the worst in a very long time.

Host family are friendly and they kerp their property clean and welcoming

I’ve stayed in beach hotels before and this place was terrible! The towel rods snd the toilet paper holder were all broken off the wall. There was toothpaste on the sink. There was duct tape on the ac and it was all rusted. Needed a paint job badly. Old and gross shower curtain. Unclean odor in room snd general dirty. It was so disgusting we left. It was 330$ a night snd was gross where I couldn’t stay there

Really great location - walking distance from the boardwalk and felt safe in the neighborhood even after dark. Small, clean and cozy. Only place to sit was on the bed or stand and eat in the little kitchenette. Could use a broom inside the unit since there is a kitchenette. Not sure why the bathroom door locks from the outside instead of the inside though. But for an affordable getaway at Seasode - it’s a convenient clean and safe place to sleep.

Staff was helpful and friendly, room was clean, but in dire need of a total remodel. Very few amenities in room like soap, tissues, etc. HVAC unit extremely noisy. NO hot water. Would not stay here or at any other Seaside Heights motel/hotel in future (second bad experience in this area)

I stayed here this past weekend. I really enjoyed the stay. The room was clean. The staff is super friendly. Parking was easy. The best part is the location. Would stay here again.

Very clean room with a mini fridge and microwave. Air conditioner was extremely loud every time the compressor turned on. No dresser bit a shelf to put things on. No chair in the room. Was woken up by a loud knocking on my door at 130AM. I think it might have been a food delivery person that came to the wrong door. Not the motels fault, but couldn't sleep after that

I stayed here with my daughter for 2 nights. The room was very clean, plenty of pillows and blankets, water was hot. I did not have much interaction with staff. The location was perfect for us. Easy to walk or drive to the beach and boardwalk. The room was nice and cold but my only issue was that the air conditioner was very loud.
