The place is clean, the staff are very welcoming. The rooms have been updated to planks instead of carpet making it look and feel leaner. We have been to other Day's In locations but this is better. The dining area was clean, but staff was still cleaning it. With this level of staff I recommend the place. It looks like they are updating the place, I hope they keep doing that. The microwave and bathtub are relatively old, I hope it is next in their list. The fridge makes a sound (not horrible but also not quite). Again minor things, but much better than other places. The cleanliness of the place compensates for many issues.

This was my two day trip to Chicago and Gary, IN, so staying here made it the best as well. I loved how safe of an area the property was located. I also loved how there so many eateries, in walking distance of the property. The customer service at the property was grade A quality. The staff made me feel welcome the moment I checked in. The only one thing I didn’t like about the property was a little uncleanliness in my room. There was hair in some places. Other than that one flaw, I do recommend this hotel to people who like a safe property with nearby eateries.

Rooms i'm guessing have been renovated recently and they are nice - new beds, wall coverings, hardwoodish floors. Breakfast area was a mess - no one cleaning it and limited, run down. Lobby fair. You kinda get what you pay for here.

Attempted to check in two hours earlier although the hotel was empty we were told to come back it was really hot so we sat in the lobby, the front desk clerk went into the breakfast room and ate around two by 230 I ran the bell then walked down to find him in the kitchen with headphones on so I waved at him and he finally let us check into a room that had been empty for hours. No shampoo or conditioner only mouth wash and lotion in the room.

Rooms weren’t clean hair on bathroom floor from the guest who stayed before I checked in so that tells me the room wasn’t cleaned. Hallway smelt like mold there was dirty mop water sitting in the corner the breakfast wasn’t much of a breakfast only good thing is the bed was comfortable other than that everything else was terrible property was in terrible condition and around the property was as well charged a $50 deposit at check in not worth it if I could have gotten a full refund and stayed elsewhere I would’ve don’t waste your time

1. The floor in the room was clean but very slippery, like someone mopped the floor with soap but didn't rinse it well at all... 2. There was no easy chair in the room, and when I inquired about getting one all i received from the attendant was a quiet smile... 3. The breakfast buffet in the morning was without food at 8AM Sunday morning.

Cigarette butts all over the ground outside, Couldn't understand the person behind the counter, they still have the 3 inch covid plastic up. Hotel is in poor repair, wasn't sure what to touch in the room, stains on the towels, only two of them in a 4 person room. Floor boards are lifting, door paint is peeling off, room had a funky smell, I think its from the bedding, possibly holding back on detergent? Somewhere to sleep in between a long road trip... will spend the extra $50 on an extra star rating next time.

Pros: room was clean; bed was very comfortable; Price was excellent. Cons: Wi-Fi did not work; TV signal was bad and couldn't watch it. Overall: slept great and for the price, we would stay here again.

The bathroom smelled of piss and there were bed bugs!!!!!!!

We were traveling and got rerouted to chicago.when we realized we needed tonstop we selected tgis hotel for the price breakfast and POOL. We booked here and when we arrived we were informed that an additional amount was taken as a depsit and would take up to10 days to get back incase we dont clean or we smoked. Nothing was said about it at booking!! That was our travel money! There was NO POOL! The floors were sticky and the tub had an oily film so i couldnt even relax there. The toilet wouldnt flush and there was black hair everywhere. When we arrived at 11pm there was a party going on in the parking lot so i didnt feel my car or belongings were safe. When we mentioned all this to the front desk. The man just smirked lowered his head turned and walked off. The conditions of this hotel were deploruble and the staff DO NOT CARE!! They are STEALING PEOPLES MONEY FOR THE ALREADY BAD CONDITIONS OF THEIR ROOMS!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Do not be fooled by the pictures. This place is a bit dirty. The room's floor is sticky. The towel has black spots. I was able to wipe black grime off the toilet seat.

This hotel was trash! The room was bare. Treadmill was broken. Pool was out of order and clearly won't ever be in order. Breakfast was crap. I was treated like a thief when I requested additional towels despite only having one set provided. And they had the audacity to harrass me at checkout. I've have better stays at 2-hour motels.

This hotel was disgusting… from mildew smell in the lobby to the disgusting bathroom in the room. Did not even sit on anything. Walked into the room and walked right back out.

Horrible!!

This property is not clean there was trash underneath the stairs that was very visible. There was a sheet of dust on top of vending machines. The room smelled like mildew and we had to spray febreeze on the bedding. Never again. Zero out of zero

things need to be repaired like refrigerator, chairs..

"Continental" Breakfast was old-looking bread, cereal, waffles, and a few yogurt cups in a small refrigerator. The coffee was not good; and it was creamy dark. I will not stay in this hotel again. The showing price on the website was $75 per room, and we booked two rooms - the total was $210.

The pictures are false advertisement! The hotel looks nothing like the pictures! My husband and I had to go buy an entire bed set so that we could feel some what comfortable to sleep in the bed. The tub looks like they have years of rings around it and let’s not get on the toilet wish I could add pictures. The breakfast ha what breakfast.. Also upon arrival you will need to pay an $100 deposit plus fee which is not stated on website. I found out from some residents at the hotel that it’s exactly an extended stay residence so be prepared to hear running up and down the stairs/loud laughing and talking from 2am unti 6am.. Overall I was very very disappointed with my stay and i give this place a 1 star and that’s just to be nice

I was transferred twice and each room was wasn’t any better than the last from stained bedding to stained curtains and of course trash from previous guess. Keep in mind I have my pregnant wife and kids and if they are uncomfortable what options am I left with. I’m completely unsatisfied with my stay here. Let’s not make it like I’m boogie or nothing cause I mean come on I’ve stayed in crack houses and slept like a baby.

Place was quiet and neat, room was clean, good cable, comfy beds, no critters, staff is professional but not overly friendly, breakfast is mediocre at best. Pool room was shut down and doesn’t look to opening anytime soon. Overall not a bad place.
