The people working at this hotel, mainly the ladies at the front desk, are so rude! They are barely at their desk. People are standing around waiting to be helped. These ladies are ON THEIR PHONE too much! They definitely need to be talked to. They don't look at you when you walk in. They don't speak to you. They need to be let go!

We were in town for a wedding. The hotel was very clean and had a great breakfast.

The hotel seemed to be clean, and our room, initially, was clean. The ladies at the registration desk were wonderful! Room service was only every other day. There were only two wash clothes, two bath towels, and one hand towel in the room when we arrived and no one restored them the next day. When room service came on Wednesday, the lady left us one wash cloth and one bath towel!! We had to pick up bath linens every day while we were there, and as I've said, the ladies at the registration desk were fantastic. That's where we had to pick up additional linens, etc Room service did not include sweeping the floors, but on the 5th day, the cleaning lady swept the floors. No closet and no drawers or baskets for storing our clothing. We lived out of our luggage all five days. Five hangers were available on a pole and some hooks on the walls (no closet). Maybe a one-night stay would be fine, but we will never stay at TRU again. VERY disappointed in Hilton for putting their name on this place.

Everything was great! They ran out of toothpaste at the front, but they were completely booked so I understand. The hallways and common areas were quite hot but the room itself cooled off nicely! There were fingernail clippings on the windowsill…. That was pretty yucky. Lol.

Amazing stay

Was very disappointed in the room. No dressers, closet, safe or even pictures on the walls. Beds were comfy but pillows were just adequate. The dust ruffle on that bed which should be between the mattress and box spring was under the bedspread. We arrived on a rainy day and there was no overhang to keep you and your luggage dry. Only one way in and out of the property making it difficult to leave if another car was checking in. Assumed a Hilton Hotel would have done far better. Will not be staying at a Tru hotel in the future.

I wanted to love it here. The staff was so friendly. The breakfast was good. But the parking… THE BEDDING!! Nope. the parking was NOT it for a rainy weekend with kids. You cannot park around the property. You have to park far on the right of it and I’ve never had to park so far from a hotel in my life. Having my kids and then it storming was a nightmare. The sheets… the bedsheets were absolutely terrible! They’re so thin and small (I had queen size) and it wasn’t a big fluffy one we usually get at hotels. And I’ve stayed at a ton. The AC was on the whole entire time and noisy and COLD. No matter what I did. I’ve never had such a terrible sleeping problem in a hotel before. Unfortunately I will not be back. But the staff was the best!

Great location just a few minutes up from the harbor and the shopping area around. Clean and staff is on point. One exception, one of the front desk employees was down right rude. Wouldn’t even get up from her lab top to go to her work area to discuss business. And it’s not Shy, Shy was amazing!
