Everything was top notch!

The Brenton is hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at. My partner and I have spent the 2-3 days before Xmas here for the last 3 years and we will be back next year. The staff is impeccable. Every employee is helpful, friendly and overall just truly dedicated to making your stay wonderful. The rooms are the best rooms I've ever been in. Gorgeous and comfortable and luxurious. I can't wait to be back next year. If anyone I know is planning on going to Newport I will ALWAYS suggest they stay at the Brenton.

The Brenton is a great choice for a few night stay in Newport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a great size and we felt comfortable and happy to hang out between seeing friends. Location is great for gettong around. The bar serves great drinks and was great for meeting friends.

I've been coming back for more than two years and it's so easy to stay that I can relax as soon as I arrive like a second home. Low-key staff and guests, clean and spacious rooms (larger than most NYC studio apartments) with great beds, a chaise lounge, patio doors that open to face the water/ park, good light and lots of comfortable touches such as complimentary robes, cookies, juice, nespresso, sparkling and still water on tap, and all you can eat ice cream! but the thing that really sets this place apart is the super friendly valet service that will shuttle guests to nearby locations. No need for cabs or uber! After trying a dozen other highly rated Newport hotels and historic B+B's, I will always opt to stay at the Brenton as a first choice.

Absolutely excellent. From the staff to the nice touches the hotel offers, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I will definitely be returning!

Brenton Hotel is the best hotel in Newport. The rooms are a great size 350 sq ft . We had 2 Queens Beds very comfortable , TV Is directly across from beds. Very important to R&R Travelers. The Living Room is casual and comfortable serving great food and drinks. Not the hotel for kids under 12. Location is the best. Staffs friendly and attentive. You won’t be disappointed.

Really lovely stay. The staff was great - friendly and helpful. Fantastic location; we walked everywhere we needed to go (after having our car valet parked so we didn't have to worry about it again). VERY comfortable and spacious room. Will definitely go again when we're in Newport.

Our 4 night stay was wonderful! My wife and I stayed in a king room with city view and it was perfect for the two of us. The hotel is beautiful and clean and service was top notch. The on site restaurant has a limited menu but breakfast was very good and we enjoyed having a drink at the bar a few times during our stay. Location is very good and we were able to walk to many outstanding restaurants and shops along the water. The Brenton was a great experience and helped make our 4 day stay in Newport really enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property. Close to everything. Neat bar and lounge area. However walls are thin. We could hear the folks staying adjacent to us. Not just a mumbled sound but word for word

We did a long weekend stay for adults. Great location right on the marina. Friendly staff, and environmentally friendly setup (pantry on guest room floors provides high quality filtered water still or sparkling, reusable bottles, and other nice touches).

We were very pleased with our stay at Brenton Hotel.Staff was very, "Service "oriented.Rooms are nice,clean and spacious. Beds are super comfortable! One unexpected charge upon checking out was unexpected.Forty dollars a day for valet service?Dont get me wrong valet personnel were thorough and Service oriented. However $40 a day I thought was steep,especially what Brenton Hotel charges a night to stay in addition to cost of breakfast at hotel.Other than these two issues everything was good.

Everything was Great! Staff was right on top of their game. When stepping out of town to Relax for a couple nights, everyone at the Brenton made it so much easier. Hi light was the rooftop sunset. A must for All! We’ll be back soon.

Very nice, clean, and new rooms.

The hotel seems new. It was nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. The valet app didn't work and I never got a text or got a ticket for my parked car. I was not informed by the valet, nor by the reception that there is a house car that can take you places until I checked out and saw another guest requesting it. I couldnt find the phone in the room to contact reception. I had to call them via my cell. Check-out time is at 11am and when I asked to push to 11:30am, they couldn't even be flexible about it. I knew that the hotel wasn't fully booked for that day since I had looked into staying another day. Just because of their inflexibility, I am not sure if I would stay here again. Side note: the shampoo they provided was very watered down, I had to reapply 4 times.

What a beautiful hotel! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly or more helpful! Loved the rooftop bar and lounge space. The view was spectacular! The location is perfect for walking around vibrant Newport and visiting the great store and restaurants. The food at the hotel was so good. The breakfasts choices were perfect and we also loved the lobster rolls and chowder for lunch. Definitely looking forward to a return visit.

The room next to ours was locked out. The staff spent 3 hours trying to get the door to work. They ultimately had to call the FD and get the door knocked in. 3-4 hours of commotion and noise while we were trying to sleep. It was so unfortunate that we had to have such a negative when everything else was great - except no sleep

Very nice hotel to stay at- room very comfortable and clean. The website said they have 2 restaurants and they do not. They have a “living room”- a few tables with chairs, couches where people can eat- casual setting. When asked the staff the look was inquisitive- at check out asked where’s the kitchen- told small area behind the wall. Area has many options for lunch and dinner in the area.
