It was great that it was within one to two blocks of good restaurants and downtown activities. The property was clean, and you can tell thought had been put into trying to make an old house into a quaint tourist place. There was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and bathroom spray. The lit stairs were really helpful at night.

The drawings of the place did not live up to expectations. The backyard needed a lot of attention, and poison oak was growing near the back entrance. It was an old house that had many drawbacks for senior citizens. It had narrow, short stairs to the only bedrooms on the second floor. The second floor bathroom door would not close. The bathtub made into a shower was jimmy rigged and was inadequate for a decent shower. There were no chairs to sit on in the bedrooms and no trash cans. The outlets required extension cords which made me wonder if the house was up to code. The kitchen cabinets were duct taped in some of the corners. The front door required a deadbolt, because it wouldn’t close and lock. I thought the $ 200 plus required for cleaning was excessive.
