As advertised, we were supposed to check in at 4 PM. The owner/agent said he would send us code then after cleaning people left unit. We texted after arriving at 3:45 repeatedly till 5:30 PM and could not get a response, so we had to go to the bioluminescent bay tour in Fajardo in street clothes and got totally soaked. The agent/landlord texted back at 7 pm (wondering what we needed, REALLY?!?!) while we were in kayak with no phone, so we get code and drive back. It's 10:30 PM. The cleaning woman and her husband (?) were just leaving and thankfully let us in because the code provided did not work. So all night we have to listen to thumping of locked laundry room where maid left presumably bed linens in dryer. At midnight I am on sofa and get scared to death when maid's husband hollers at me through dark window telling me they forgot to leave TV remote (didn't even care as I wasn't watching tv). Couldn't leave FOB to open parking lot gate in lockbox as we didn't have an operable number. Unit has seen better days. All doors are splitting and warped about 6" up from bottom presumably from flooding from Maria or Irma years ago (??). Not the unit at all we expected or pictured in ad. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING.
