This property location is simply the best. Literally just steps from the best beach on the island, Kailua! The bungalow is perfect for two, and has everything you need! On top of that, it is beautiful! Vicki is an incredible host, quickly responding to questions and local suggestions on where to eat. 10/10! Will definitely come back! Mahalo, Vicki!

As our host promised, the Lofty Bungalow is an amazing place to stay! A beautifully designed modern space with an open beam ceiling, the space lives larger than its footprint, especially with the private outdoor dining patio with outdoor hot shower, all under a majestic banyan tree. Thoughtful design makes the bungalow a very private place to stay, and since it’s just steps to the beach, you don’t need to cross any roads to get there. We used the provided beach chairs and towels everyday! The kitchen, while petite in size, was extremely well outfitted, providing everything we could possibly have needed to cook many meals together. The Kailua Farmers market had great fresh produce as did the health food store, Whole Foods and several other grocery stores, all within walking distance, that is if you don't mind carrying back a bag of groceries! Our delightful host, Vicki, answered all our questions (before and during our stay ) promptly and with great aloha. She also provided us with an extensive list of places to eat, activities to consider and information about Kailua town; we only wish we had several more weeks to try them out! We both hope to return soon again. Mahalo for hosting us!

Cutest little bungalow, amazing location, all the amenities you need.

We loved our stay! The interior was well designed and thoroughly outfitted with everything you need. The lanai was our haven! With an outdoor shower and table with chairs for breakfast, snacks, etc. The gem of the property was a majestic Banyan tree we enjoyed from our lanai. Walks on the beach just about 200 feet way - the most beautiful Kailua and Lanakai beaches! The owner lives on site and is very helpful and supportive. Highly recommend this place!

This home is curated well with everything you need - it is a rare 2 bedroom unit which I did not need but a family would love! The beutifal vintage artwork includes Peggy Hopper and many other wonderful photos and scenes and history of Hawaii. Conveniently on the second floor just off the steps & nearest to the walkway out to your amazing beach… once there it is very hard to leave to go to any other beach - the Condo unit is so secure and the management keeps it safe and clean and no party people will be tolerated (fun people that laugh a lot are particularly welcome!) There is a lovely social aspect to this property with folks gathering at the Picnic tables to watch and photographer the most amazing sunset every evening - Snorkeling is amazing (I always bring my goggles and short Kicks fins so I have what I need there. There a two nice boogie boards for your use also. On the way there - I always stop at Costco to purchase good chairs and great umbrella (plus cheapest gas on island) Kua Uka Costco (you can return them!! Costco takes everything back - trust me I used to work for Costco) The bed in the front room is super comfy to watch TV or hang - great patio furniture- two table lamps & chairs. Haleiwa has great food - stop at Malama Supermarket for wine - food / supplies on your way… Laundry facilities on-site but grab you some quarters as that’s all you need there - The owner Lucille aka Babe was wonderful to work with Book now! You will be so happy! Also the unit , like most does not have A/C but there are 3 nice fans in the place Ok gotta stop - I surely forgot something good ! Aloooha
