We loved our time at Paradise Cove! The cabin is quaint & cozy with everything you need. After exploring all the area attractions each day, we had family time around the fire pit to make s’mores & memories. Donny (host) was fantastic to work with, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Paradise Cove is their personal home & you can tell they love it. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, I’m reaching out to Donny to secure our dates! Stay here - you won’t be disappointed!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great for going to the Ark and Creation Museum. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Kids really enjoyed the lake -fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. It was nice to have access to kayaks, floaties, paddle board, etc. If your looking for a relaxing vacation on the lake, we highly recommend this lake rental!

Stay was very nice dock was peaceful. Internet was great connections convent to everything with short distance to travel but very private. Highly recommend. We will return.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and cozy and the dock setup is amazing. Our kids really enjoyed swimming off the dock and having fun with the kayaks and paddle board. My wife and enjoyed hanging out and eating meals with the family under the large covered deck that looks out onto the lake. The property owner was very helpful and responsive.

We stayed a few days with two of our grandkids. I like the water and so do the kids. Poppa loves fishing and is teaching his grandson. Moening’s place is great! Close to the Ark Encounter and right on the lake. We had all we needed. Host was kind and very accessible. Beds were comfy. If a longer stay we would need a washer and dryer, but we made due for our three night stay. A+

The Moening Lakehouse was the icing on our cake for our trip to the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. We were able to park right beside the house which made it easy for my mom and aunt to get into. The electronic lock meant no keys to keep up with. The house was cozy, well designed, and stocked with essentials. The front deck overlooking the lake was amazing. My sons stayed down on the dock fishing and swimming and we capped each night off with s'mores by the firepit. I would love to go back and just spend a few days there. It was beautiful and relaxing.

My family of 2 adults and 3 kids really enjoyed the lake amenities (fishing, swimming, kayaks). The kitchen was nicely updated and the bedrooms and bathroom had everything we needed. I would recommend this vrbo to anyone looking to enjoy a lakefront property.

This property is just as described and more. Such a charming cottage and property full of lake life fun. I was mostly impressed with the thought out details that made every inch of space so practical. Hooks and drawers in all the right places, pocket doors that make the space feel larger. Fully equipped kitchen with CLEAN fridge, stove, microwave and dishes. I do recommend looking at what they have before running to Walmart.. I bought TP, paper towels, paper products and plastic utensils, sponges for dishes, foil, lighters, etc … but they already had it all. We came in March so we did not come with the expectation of using the outdoor amenities but they were available and we did have a memorable night by the fire with our teenage boys. Donny was great to rent from. If I had to say one thing that could be improved (definitely not a deal breaker) it would be the main bedroom mattress. It was perfect for my husband, but I found it to be too firm. Plus side was the sheets and comforter were very comfortable and clean! (I’m usually the kind of person who brings my own bedding and when I don’t .. I do a full inspection before climbing in) I didn’t feel the need here and that made my OCD heart happy 😊
I bet this lake property could only be better with warmer weather. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.

Our family just got back from our stay here and it was wonderful! The view is gorgeous and so very peaceful. The deck was perfect for sitting with a cup of coffee while watching the leaves fall and the wildlife(of which you will see a lot). The house was clean and the owners were great to work with. We highly recommend them and will happily come back in the future!
