House was very clean and accommodating for small children

House just as listed. Spacious for a group of 8 friends. Did a big food shop in advance and then just spent 2 days enjoying hikes and cooking and hot tub. Owner very responsive. Only snafoo was door code didn’t work but owner called back quickly and resolved.

This is a nice house that is very comfortable to stay in. They have a great coffee set up, tons of kitchen utensils, and lots of space. The owner was very communicative and helpful.

The house is super cozy, the hot tub is a plus there is tons of space. having a bathroom in each floor of the house was the best. The house is very clean it had everything we needed it. Defenely will book again.

What a great experience renting with Chris! We chose this house because of the location and what it has to offer. We brought our boys who are almost 3yo and 18mo. The house has so many bonus features like gates, high chair, and a pack n play so I felt like our kids were actually welcome. Towamensing is a nice, quiet community and the playground was perfect. I’m sure in the summer the beach is awesome too. We were able to also enjoy the hot tub which was a nice, relaxing bonus. The beds were comfy, the towels/sheets were clean and great quality. It was nice to walk into a rental and not have to worry about anything. The host Chris was very responsive and answered any questions we had along the way. Thanks for a great getaway!

The house was very clean, plenty of space with all the bedrooms and loft sleeping area for the 8 adults and 1 small dog. We didn’t even need to use the bunk bed room. Overall we were happy with the house but there were a couple things that disappointed us as they were noted already in reviews dating back to November and still all the pool cues were broken, completely unusable. And the light on the back deck was still flickering so that was not ideal. Window blinds need some TLC in the living room as well as the bedrooms, and there should be a proper sized rubber mat put under the rug under the dining table. Several of us slipped on it and nearly went down for the count. There rug is probably 8*10 and the rubber mat that was placed under it is about 2*4, so not helpful to keep you from slipping when you step on it. I had the impression that the house was in the process of being improved as there was a mix of old and new throughout. Chris was easy to get in touch with for any questions and provided all the information that we needed to research before the trip and some initial notes after arriving. Really seamless process overall. Plenty of parking as well. Listing says 4 spaces but with 2 big pickup trucks and 2 Jeep Grand Cherokees in our group there was plenty of extra space in the driveway. The hot tub was really enjoyable after an afternoon of hiking and we enjoyed seeing the deer running around the area. The house is well stocked with everything you need for cooking and eating in a large group (except for the empty dishwasher pod box under the sink). My wishlist for this house would include some folding chairs that could be pulled out for group meals. But for a weekend with friends it was really suitable and you could feel it was just very clean (most important in my view!).

I spent 2 days researching places to rent, and all I wanted was a hot tub n fire place. I got a hot tub that was too cold n a fire place that I could not use.

Had a great time! The house was clean, cozy and nice. Very quiet neighborhood and lots of deer. The kitchen was nicely stocked and the hot tub was awesome. The pool table and those accessories may need a little attention but was fun nonetheless. Easy check-in process and was very pet friendly with bowls provided along with a blanket and leash with poo bags if needed. Enjoyed my stay here and would book again. Thank you again!

The best part about this house is the amenities. The rooms are nice and there were only five of us so we didn’t even use two of the rooms. Bathrooms were clean and modern. The owner is very considerate and has thought about anything you could possibly need for the stay. From blankets, pillows, towels, spa towels, toiletries, coffee, to even batteries! Only a handful of suggestions: new pool cues needed as the three pool cues were mostly unusable (tips broken) so we didn’t get to play pool. The hot tub area light was flickering (hot tub had lights which worked when it was getting dark), and some solar lighting in the back and front yard would be nice as we were trying to get into the neighbor’s house at check in! (probably our fault but we couldn’t see the number sigh which was huge and visible during the day). Our dog loved it! Deer frolicking in the back yard in the morning was fun to watch, though our dog wasn’t too happy to be kept inside then 😀 We hiked nearby by the Tobyhanna Creek and got take out from Nick’s Lakehouse and Boulder View Tavern. Thanks for a lovely stay! Oh and we loved the board games. Played Monopoly, Boggle, CatchPhrase!

Had a wonderful time, set up is perfect for family, kids, teens, suits all. House was clean, felt extremely welcomed, excellent location to Hickory Run State Park. Thank you for everything!

We had an awesome stay at the house, it was just the right size for our group of 5. The location is great for a fall getaway and everything was very clean. We also relived our childhood with all the board games Chris had available. The grill and hot tub were both perfect additions. We'll be booking again!

We had a great time at the Plentus Family home! Traveling with little kids, this home had all the accommodations we needed (pack n play, baby monitor, high chair, kids kitchen items). Great combo of local activities and relaxing fun close to the home- like the lake and hot tub at the house! We could’ve stayed much longer! Everything you need is close by, in a beautiful setting!

Clean and inviting with extras like an Expresso machine and creamers and very comfortable firm beds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

My husband and I took a short getaway to explore the Poconos area and this was a perfect place to stay! It was very clean, VERY well supplied with anything you need for cooking and centrally located. We had timely and accurate communication from our host and they provided great resources for things to do in the area-We would have loved to stay longer to use all the amenities provided and explore the area longer :) would definitely recommend and already have this property on our radar to take our kids as well since there is plenty of space!

My friend and I needed a quiet escape to recharge and regroup. We had 2 requirements. Hiking and hot tub. Being near so many trails and the clean, personal tub on the deck was perfect. The house was spotless. And any concerns I had Chris was in quick communication.

This was our last stop before heading home on our road trip. What a great house to give us just the recharge we needed. The layout of the house as well as the 3 bathrooms with showers really make this is the perfect place for anyone traveling in a group. You can spread out and have some privacy or you can come together for games and gatherings. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the pool table. What a perfect way to have fun and pass the time while doing a couple of loads of laundry. The back deck is a quiet spot to drink your coffee while reading a book and watching the deer playing and grazing nearby. If you love coffee this is the place for you. So many options for making that perfect cup! I wish we could have stayed longer.

Great house in a great location for a family get away. Communication with the property owner was great, check in was easy, we had our wristbands and car tag info at the house for us to use for the pool, lake beach and trash. House was very clean. There was lots to do to stay busy at the house, in the community area, and short driving distances to many fun places.

Perfect sized property for 3 adult couples and 3 teens and their grandmother, easy access to appropriate activities for everyone.

This property was very comfortable and met all of our needs. We were able to enjoy some wonderful family time together. The lake was perfect. As expected it was crowded on a weekend in the summer. People couldn’t have been nicer. My son lost his wallet in the lake. It was found floating and turned in. With no money missing. The hot tub was wonderful at the end of the evening. Plenty of bath and beach towels! Chris was easily accessible and answered promptly with any of our questions. We would definitely stay again.
