Location was close to mall road. Easy to walk and explore
Price was high and linen was not clean. Furniture is old and doesn't match the pictures as shown. Plus i didnt eat breakfast as first day found hair in poha served

Treebo Greenland was my best experience in Shimla. Hotel is hardly at a distance of 800m from Ridge and Mall Road. Hotel has private parking.

Its a simple place, quite well connected to the main road. The approach to Mall road is simple (about 10 min walk). Its one of the properties that has its own parking (and not government paid parking). That made it very convenient to stay. I read some reviews that were quite bad, but honestly, my experience was very good. The facilities are basic, as you would expect from a hotel of this price range. The staff had to be nudged to do basic stuff like cleaning, provide tea sachets etc. But whenever you call them, they will immediately show up and get things done. So absolutely no complaints there. The food quality is also good and looks like there were no shortcuts in putting in all the ingredients (masalas, dalchini, kadhi patta etc) to the veggies - many hotels just omit that (we ordered only north Indian food). Breakfast was also simple, good and sufficient.
The staff is very courteous. Especially Mr. Rajender. He helped us in all possible ways, including helping us plan our daily trips with all practical advice.
Overall, loved the experience and would surely not mind going there again.
There are not too many food options closer to this place. Will need to walk for about 10 mins to get to mall road. But the hotel food was good, so no complaints.

The only thing i liked about the hotel was food, and staff was nice.
The review is first of all for booking.com people, you mentioned it was a 3 star hotel, but we were shocked to see it as 1 star hotel in google upon searching when we entered shimla, you guys mentioned that the room is spacious enough for a family, it wasn’t !! the pictures shown were deceiving, amenities mentioned by you people was wrong, no toiletries in the washroom, except for a piece of soap, we had to ask for toilet paper, 1 towel for 3 people, tv who’s remote doesn’t work, u said room would be having a heater ? we had to pay extra for a heater,300 rs per night. dirty carpet, old furniture ! dirty pillows! the only thing i liked about the hotel was food, staff was nice ! have to mention the disturbance at night, as its on the road side and vehicles keep moving through the night.

The staff were pleasant especially Sanjay who was pleasant and helpful.
The water was hot
We are not fussy travelers, we are used to roughing it but this place was worse than camping. We have never written a bad review before but the room was so cold our teeth were chattering. The window was mouldy, the pillow cases had mould on them plus stains and generally looked as if they had been used before. All the bedding was damp. We complained and replacement bedding was also damp.

The property is located on the main road 200 mtrs from lakkarbazaar bus stand.
location is great as you can get the bus to kufri, Narkanda and other places from the bus stand.
it’s very close to Mall Road , 700 m distance.
Also, close to shimla bus stand.
Food options is limited but awesome service is provided in terms of quality and quantity.
it’s recommended to book backside room so wont get noise from moving vehicles in the road side.

The view
The room was very cold. Staff didn't speak a single word in English. Localisation loud and polluted.

The staff were really helpful and attentive. They brought us breakfast at 7am before breakfast officially started as we had to leave early. The room was tidy, and generally clean and the bathroom had water (which doesn't seem to always be the case in this price bracket). Ask for a room with a valley view, which seemed much better and much more quite as they are at the back of the property.
