In a word FANTASTIC! We enjoyed a small Paradise ON the SAND by the Ocean under the shade of huge Pine trees that reminded one of beautiful times "Old Florida Lush" private peaceful Beach House. All was very clean in good condition and the few little things that we requested fixing were quickly repaired or replaced. All with whom we dealt with at Island Vacation Rental were wonderful! Thanks Amy T., Tierney, Maintenance IAN and Tom - just everyone super accommodating and responsive. To any request their answer was certainly! Comfy Beds, extra linens and Towels all in great condition and all basics in kitchen made things lots easier and more comfortable. The outside sitting, tables/chairs for lounging under the trees in the afternoon shade also lovely. Great location couple blocks to Publix and stores. But really overall ON BEACH location location location could not be better. This was Better than as advertised all around! Even the weather cooperated with occasional afternoon showers or great storms allowing us to enjoy most of the days and Of course INCREADIBLE SUNSETS! JUST THANKS!

We had a wonderful stay at the Flamingo! It is secluded from the street and nestled under native Florida trees. We enjoyed evenings on the patio deck playing super Scrabble and watching the sun set. It was a short walk to the beautiful beach and had many toys for the kids to play with. We had a wagon to haul all the gear to and from the beach and an outside shower to clean off with before re-entering the home. It was spacious and decorated nicely. We were able to cook a few lunches and dinners -even grilled out on the provided gas grill. It is a perfect location in the middle of the island and a short walk to the free trolly that runs every 20 minutes. I would definitely love to go back!

As always, Island Vacation Properties delivers a very clean and cozy cottage on the water. Our most favorite part was having our morning coffee (or dinner) on the outdoor seating area while taking in the beautiful gulf views. The shade and breeze were just perfect. We also enjoyed our private beach access just steps away.i

Overall a nice property, but you are paying for being on the beach and not the amenities. The kitchen is bare bones, very few glasses, mugs and silverware. Ice from the fridge never worked, and original coffeemaker was tiny. Thanks for the Mr. Coffee from the management. Property was very clean and showers were hot and strong. The outdoor amenities are also very bare bones. From this unit you barely have a beach view unless you walk down to the viewing areas and the outdoor furniture is well worn and could use a refresh. The property management is attentive and helpful, always ready to problem solve if needed. Front window had some water damage, and leaked on the floor when it rained, so be aware. The beach is a natural beach with lots of sea grape and sea oats in front of the property, very Old Florida. The outdoor storage of bikes, chairs, etc. could use an update. We have been staying on the island for 25 years, and while this is an adequate rental, not personally our favorite. The management company IS our favorite however, and they can accommodate you with many choices.

We really enjoyed our stay at Flamingo beach. It was awesome to be right on the beach. The owners had a boogy boards, paddle boards and kayaks and many other beach things that made it alot of fun to explore the water. It was a very relaxing and pleasant vacation. We would love to come back and stay again sometime.
