We brought our family for the polar express experience and I think they had more fun on the river ! It was a great location as we could see the train go by a lot. I wish there was more of a pull out bed space for the kiddos but otherwise all great! Everything worked and the camper was warm and homey. No problems so we did not have to even contact anyone for this quick getaway. Had all we needed :)

We stayed two nights. It started out fine it's an old camper it's clean. Some things I could name for cleaning, but nothing compared to something more important as needing heat and water. I would have rented it again if it wasn't for the second night. The second night, heater stopped working and the water froze. We had to pick up and leave real early in the morning because, it was so cold. It was in the low 20s. Very very disappointed. We had more plans for our trip. it was our anniversary, but we couldn't even take a shower or brush our teeth. So, we packed up and headed for home. That was way too much money to pay to stay there. To go through what we had to go through. Contacted the owner and she said was she was sorry which was fine. She also said that she's going to have to buy bigger tanks for the heat to last. We were only there one night and the heater was okay. It was noisy . Then the second night, it didn't work at all. Why would the gas only last one night?

We enjoyed the train ride, the waterfall hike and driving on the BlueRidge Parkway. Seeing the elk herd was awesome.
Lot of hiking trails and places to adventure.
The camper was in decent proximity to everything we wanted to do.
It was comfortable for just us 2 old folks but not a lot of space if you have more. Outside space is limited due to the campsites being rather small and close together but being on the river was awesome.
Would recommend if you are planning air of other activities in the area for sure!

Property was clean, the camper was clean and cozy!
It was perfect for our needs. we had another group with us who neighbored our trailer, and had the same host. We went hiking most of the day and came back to a cooled off home every night with a beautiful river view in the morning. Our host recommended a 3 places to eat. We ate at 2 of the 3 recommendations and they were all very good!
For the experience and the price, I would totally stay here again!

Camper was nice but bedroom and bath were too confining for our comfort. Had an issue with fleas and ants inside. Owner may want to consider flea and ant treatments. Campground was somewhat unkept, not a very pleasant surrounding. Loved being right on the river - had a great view! Will consider larger camper next time.

I have already sent in a review... with a report that the floor in front of stove was soft and "rug" in front of door was too flimsy to wipe wet shoes on- it was basically cloth and wadded up.
The RV in itself was lovely and the m mattress exceptional- would love to know the brand... l have back issues and slept like the dead.
Was disappointed the 2 chairs shown were not the ones on property- l couldn't use the 2 plastic ADIRONDACK chairs available due to my back, therefore could not enjoy the river or fire pit that l had bought marshmallows and hot dogs to roast.
Our reason for renting that particular site was to celebrate my husbands 79th bday...

If you're looking to go glamping this is the easiest way to do it. Close to downtown and many parks/activities and restaurants.

The camper was just as pictured sitting on the banks of the Tuckasegee River. Nightly camp fires after a day on the lake, hiking or a local train ride made for the perfect weekend. The local business and dinners add to the charm of the area. Will definitely return.

It is simply a beautiful setting by the river. BC is a great place to have some adventure as well as a relaxing quiet get away!

I would recommend this place to everyone who enjoys camping and sitting by the water. If you love to fish there is trout. The place is incredible. The owner were fantastic people.

Beautiful campsite right on the river! Many things to do in nearby Bryson City and Cherokee. Awesome hiking trails with amazing waterfalls within a short distance.

Our stay was a bit of an adventure as the weather dropped the temperature down to 21 degrees. The propane gas ran out and the water pipes froze solid, not to mention the indoor air temp was pretty cold. Thankfully, the host was immediately responsive and had the gas replenished within the hour we notified her. We dressed and left the camper until they had thawed. Overall, our stay was good and we would use this property again. The location was perfect for the activities we had planned.

We had a wonderful time! The property was just like the pictures. We were able to fish and enjoy Bryson City in the same day due to the close proximity of both. Shanna was wonderful and accommodating. We will definitely be going back ASAP!!

Arrived from Asheville airport and the drive was about an hour and some minutes. Property was as described and the host’s attention was outstanding. Would definitely stay here again!

First time RV renter and it more than met our expectations. Right on the river so our dog could be in a long lead and play in the water at will while we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. Will definitely return!! Thank you Shanna, you are a super host.

My daughter and I stayed for a much needed three day weekend. Super easy check-in process, clean, right on the water, and very peaceful and relaxing. Would highly recommend for the glamping experience with beautiful scenery.

We enjoyed the camper very much, had a few hiccups at the beginning but all fell into place. The host was extremely helpful and quick to respond. The camper was located 1 mile, maybe 2 from downtown, we were very pleased with that. Loved the river behind the camper, we made a nice fire and relaxed.

Nice clean quiet place to get some recouping done. Set out by the creek and watch the water flow by and listen to the geese. Awesome place

I had such an amazing time staying in this RV right on the Tuckasegee river. I found heart shaped rocks, saw an eagle (!!!), all the stars came out with hardly any light pollution! The RV was great great with comfortable bed and plenty of space to move around the kitchen and dining room area. Indoor fireplace and views...The windows showed many angles of the river. I needed to reconnect with Nature and I pretty much stayed outside most of the time, built myself a fire, enjoyed the beauty and got grounded! I would definitely come back!
