Small, family run "roadside" motel. Dated, but comfortable for our one night passing through. Very roomy with seating area and free parking. Reminded me of the places we stayed on family road trips from my childhood when these types of establishments were most of what was available - a trip down memory lane for me.

The shower was impossible to use, tv had 3 channels, blankets, floor , were dirty, the faucet in the shower moved by itself,scalded you if you didn’t hold the handle for hot water handle still. NoWiFi, We would have moved but there were no rooms available in Munising. Our room was no 8, really old in the back behind newer ones. The shower was so small, it was impossible. The sheets were clean.

The hotel is old and needs updating. Had to check in at the hotel around the corner - which was OK. But, they failed to inform us we had to request to have our room cleaned and clean towels brought. The area around the hotel is nice, quiet and safe and it is in a good location.

Older motel with limited services.

Not being on the main road for traffic noise was nice. Only thing I would have different would be have a table in the room and or a microwave.

Everything was fine at the Terrace Motel. Nothing fancy, but the bed was comfortable and my stay was very good in general.

This motel is for sleeping only. Paper thin walls, no A/C (luckily it wasn’t hot during our stay), weak WiFi, terrible mattress, and a shower stall that leaked water onto the bathroom floor after every use. Dusty/dirty bathroom, I wiped everything down w/ Clorox wipes. Parking was an issue for our side of the complex.

No coffee in room and none at desk. A simple pleasure, easy to provide but you must drive a couple of miles away.

Staff was nice. Facility is very clean . However it was very hot and they didn’t have any air conditioning .

Good location in a quiet area, walking distance to the lake and attractions. Clean and comfortable, mom and pop kind of place with cute decor. Free bagged ice for your cooler!!

I read many reviews right before arriving. I knew under this new management, it won’t but the 5 star review experience I thought I booked for back in spring. I was very worried about it however all hotels were full during the dates we were there. In the end it was ok. The room light was very very dim so I can’t really see whether things are “clean”. We lived through it, no ac wasn’t a problem as it was very cool at night with windows opened. The room we stayed in didn’t smell bad ( complained by others). The location really made reaching everything super easy for us. With that said, I don’t plan on returning if there are other options available.

Positives are the staff were helpful and nice, and the sheets and towels all seemed to be clean. Negatives: I understand this is a motel, but what we paid ($125 per night) was not at all worth it. With a broken door lock, duct tape hanging off of each side of the bed post, and a half roll of toilet paper at check-in, it just doesn't warrant that kind of rate. Even considering this is a tourist area and this was peak season. We arrived past 11 pm and picked up our key taped to the lobby door. When we went into our room, we were ready to pay $100 more a night to stay anywhere else if we could get our money back. The hole in our comforter, the stained chairs, and dirty carpet were not appealing. There are no A/C's in the rooms, which again I understand it isn't typically a "must" in Michigan weather, but that is just something every single motel/hotel/B&B etc would have to offer. At the very least, they should list that they do not have A/C. Anyone could have kicked our door and easily broken in if they wanted, so we were a bit wary at night regarding safety, but all turned out ok!

Liked nothing. No air conditioning, taking a shower was a challenge, tv had 1 channel, got hand towells for second day shower, way too pricey for how out dated this place was.
