I had such a positive, peaceful experience doing an online silent retreat while staying at this property. The decor was beautiful and attention to detail was apparent. The hosts were extremely kind and supportive. Everything I needed was in the home. The surrounding area and property provided such calm, peace and beauty. I highly recommend this place for others!

This cabin is cozy, clean and everything you want a vacation to be. We felt relaxed among the gorgeous forest scenery and loved that we were not far from civilization but felt off the grid. We really enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch and hiking and swimming in the surrounding beautiful areas. (Highly recommend Cedar Creek Falls.) The real treasure, though, was getting to interact with Bruce, Gail and Etirza. They invited us to engage with their chickens, walk among their fruit trees and chat with them. They are all awesome people and made our time there that much more memorable. We wish we could move to that cabin and stay forever! Thank you Gail, Bruce and Etirza!

We recently had the most incredible stay at the Surfing Cowboy Ranch, and I can't express enough how much we enjoyed our time there. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm and warmth of this lovely cabin. The location of the cabin is truly ideal. Situated in the beautiful town of Ramona, it offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of San Diego while still being conveniently close. We loved that we could reach San Diego within a 45-minute drive, allowing us to explore all the city had to offer, from the stunning beaches to the vibrant downtown area. Additionally, the charming mountain town of Julian was just a short 15-minute drive away, offering us a unique and delightful change of scenery. As soon as we stepped inside the cabin, we were instantly transported to a simpler, more nostalgic time. The retro kitchen was a delight, and we couldn't resist cooking up some delicious meals while surrounded by the cozy and intimate atmosphere. The cabin itself was perfectly small, providing just the right amount of space for us to unwind and relax after our adventures. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the weather. We were incredibly fortunate to experience perfect, sunny days during our visit. My boyfriend and I stayed for his birthday for 2 nights. Bruce and Gail made us feel at home and made my boyfriend’s 28th birthday one of the best. We are already talking about another trip next year!! I HIGHLY recommend this place. The property is beautiful and the land is amazing. We loved sitting on the rocking chairs and soaking in all the beauty. I can’t wait to go back!! 10/10 experience.

Bruce and Gail were absolutely amazing. They made us feel like family!! Would highly recommend this if you want a nice quiet getaway. We plan on booking again on our next getaway!!

Bruce & Gail’s place was amazing, quiet, remote, and private. I ended up getting a flat on my way there and I was quickly helped by Bruce and Gail guiding me to the nearest auto shop. Got my car up and running in no time. It was our first time in Ramona and could've not asked for a better experience

Bruce and Gail were incredibly hospitable, the cabin was super cozy and the theme of the cabin was to die for! They were both very sweet and more than happy to attend to any questions or concerns we had. The area of the location was beautiful, and it was a great getaway trip for the weekend. Can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. We were in Ramona for a friends child's wedding. This was a perfect temporary home base for us and is a fantastic little place. It was quiet and only 5 minutes or so away from the main Ramona strip. I can't say enough about how welcoming and helpful the hosts were. Even after checkout the hosts were gracious. I highly recommend !!

Renting this property was super easy. The pictures show the beauty of the area. House is nestled in a beautifully landscaped yard with a porch to rock and relax. We went to Ramona to visit our son and the house worked perfectly. We will definitely go back.

This by far was the cutest little home I have ever stayed in. It's perfection, all brand new and smelling like fresh cut wood. Their attention to detail was immaculate. From the throw blanket that was soft as a bunny to the toiletries provided in case we forgot anything. The house was so charming and beautiful. They really went above and beyond to make it lovely. Bruce & Gail themselves are amazing people that made us feel special from the moment we pulled into the driveway. We appreciate them and are so happy they came into our lives. We can't wait to go back!

This tranquil cabin is amazing! The perfect distance from San Diego. The property owners went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The bed couldn't be more comfortable! The pool is beautiful and relaxing. I also enjoyed the hiking trails right outside the cabin. I am so grateful for the hospitality and plan to return in the future! Susan
