This place is so cute! My husband, my toddler and our Yorkie had a great night stay. You can check in on a kiosk and text them for anything you need! Everyone was so friendly and being pet friendly was a big bonus!
Bit of a misunderstanding on my part, no complimentary breakfast.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was clean and modern. My only complaint is that the room was much too dark. I had to use the flashlight on my phone! Additional lighting is definitely needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Life House Berkshires. We were in town in February for a local event in the Berkshires, and this hotel was nearby. Pulling up, there was plenty of parking, and we entered the Hotel's lounge area at the front. We were worried we had taken a wrong turn, but the Concierge/House Master approached us right away with a smile and a handshake, and had our reservation up and ready on his tablet. We got the usual information, check-in was a breeze, and the vibe in the lounge was immaculate. Our room was very clean and organized, with a welcome message on the TV with soothing tunes. Bathroom was fantastic, and the whole place felt like it had gotten a recent remodel. The TV was pleasantly situated in the internet age, letting us seamlessly use QR codes to log in to our own YouTube, Netflix, and Hulu accounts while also serving up ESPN as a conventional channel offering. Coffee was available for free at bar until 11, and it was actually good. There's two cafe's just down the street from the hotel if you miss the house breakfast, and they're also exceptional. We'll definitely be back in summer, this place runs correct.

They took a motel and made it swanky. The room was great, comfortable. The staff was super friendly. Lenox is an adorable town. Definitely a great spot.

Wonderful place. We had the privilege being served by Glenn the bartender. His service was stellar. He was so friendly, helpful and made the best drinks! A definite asset to Life House Berkshires. We will be back

The room was super cute and very clean. We had a drink and a snack at the restaurant, it was great. It's not walkable, but just a very short drive to the main area of Lenox.

I enjoyed my stay here . Alex behind the bar was very accommodating and kind . I would stay here again . I did have a little trouble with my door to the room . Otherwise did have given them 5 stars .

Really cute boutique garden style hotels but the beds are so uncomfortable and the rooms are very cold. Drafty from outside and the room takes forever to heat up.

Fantastic staff, beautiful property close to everything. The one thing that would make the room better is a coffee and tea maker in the room.

Loved our stay. Hope to be back in the summer.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Seamless self check in and check out. I loved that I was able to text the staff for anything I needed! Perfect accommodation for my big dog as well!

Mixed experience. Lobby is warm and inviting, but all rooms are entered via the exterior of the building. I booked a room here, in part, because the website stated that the restaurant was open Mon- Sun. It wasn't. No coffee/tea pot in the room. Daylight/draft under the door. One side of the property faces busy rte 7(ie, not an idyllic writer's retreat). However, rooms are clean and cozy and worth the price. Would stay again. Recommend quiet side of building.

The room was pleasant enough, but with an outdoor corridor, it seemed more like an upscale motel than a four star hotel.
There was no coffee setup in the room, and the breakfast option in the restaurant was too limited.

Everywhere I looked I kept thinking "special" to describe our experience at Life House; room, service, food, beverage. We have stayed at many hotels over the last 10 years following our daughter's athletics, the usual places, rarely leaving a place to say "let's stay there again", with the exception of The Moxy in Cherry Creek/Denver. Life House Berkshires is one that we are still talking about and will definitely go back again. Alex is amazing and made us feel comfortable, special. He is the epitome of Life House. We watched him be kind, accommodating to everyone that was there - guests and locals. We were surprised it had only been open for a year - it runs like a well oiled machine! Can't wait to go back.

We stayed at the Life House Berkshire as we were attending a friend’s wedding nearby. The check-in process was super easy, we used the self check-in system. The was also a gentleman willing to assist with the process for individuals who aren’t very good with technology, but I can guarantee that it is very easy. The decor was super nice and inviting in the lobby and bar areas with lots of different sitting options. The room decor and cleanliness was spot on. We highly recommend this hotel as we will definitely stay here again.

We loved the Life House Berkshires. Our group was spread over two rooms and for four nights each. The rooms and common spaces are gorgeous and thoughtfully designed. Alex went over and above to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

We had stayed at this facility before the upgrades and renovations and change of management. Night and day.

Terrible check-in to a totally empty lobby/bar/restaurant (which ended up not being open that night nor any other night we could see). Check in on an Ipad with no way to ask questions. We were put in the front of the building but given that the place was empty, we wanted to move to the back for more quiet. The hotel is on a very busy freeway and cars never stop. We finally found a real human to help us, she was great and the only human we saw our entire stay. The website and the rooms are all about "we hope" and trying to be very personable and friendly, which is a joke as the place is run by bots, it seems.

My friends and I will NEVER stay at a Life House property again. It was by far, the worst lodging experience any of us (4 people) ever had. And we’ve been to many. There was no one to greet us. We had to check ourselves in on their system. We were left almost entirely on our own from check-in to check-out. If we had a question or problem, too bad. No way to call. The a/c unit was quirky. No way to call. The small refrigerator needed defrosting. No way to call. The tv was quirky and would just freeze. No one to call. We couldn’t reach the front desk, maintenance or maid service,
The website didn’t reveal that this was a motel. There was no elevator to the second floor. We had to drag our own heavy suitcases up a flight of stairs. There was one person, Alex, in the lobby. He was very nice. But he was singularly also taking care of a private party in the lovely front lobby/bar/lounge which was closed for a private party. But actually, it wouldn’t have mattered. The website spotlighted this lovely and inviting front lobby/bar/lounge area, which is what sold us. But the website never mentioned that it’s closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
As I said, this was a really bad experience. All four of us agree - never again!

Wasn’t as advertised. Very expensive.

Pros: great bedding and bathroom, very nice decor with a huge TV, lovely outdoor patio
Cons: no pool, no shade on patio, faces a noisy, busy main road, nothing to do in walkable distance
Suggestions: you need a pool for summer visitors, add some shade and a couple of beer taps to the patio

This is such a cute property. Converted old motel, beautiful decor. Rooms are on the smaller side but, you have everything you need. We were facing the highway so you might here some traffic noice. The room decor is darker so lighting isn't the best. But, overall nice property.

This is a beautifully appointed motel - very unusual for a motel; love the lobby, cozy and elegant; rooms are pleasantly furnished, almost whimsical - large clean bathroom, lovely outdoor seating. Overall, a great place! The only drawback is the air conditioning unit - very loud, not sure if it was just the unit in the room I stayed in - I had to turn it off at night, luckily, it did not get too hot.
I will come back!

Not everyone likes a thick pillow. There should be a thin and a thick pillow. CHOICE!

Staff are great, so friendly and helpful! We had just missed the breakfast window but they reopened the kitchen for us :-)
Lovely, peaceful retreat close to Tanglewood.
