Clean , tidy and modern

The suite was clean and felt like home. We loved the complimentary snacks and even though the family lived upstairs it was quiet downstairs.
Also, when we arrived we were able to check in early and the lockbox wouldn't open for us but the owner right away gave us a spare key. The communication from the hosts was awesome and we will be back!! It was nice to feel like we were home without being home.
There was nothing we didn't like.

Tolle, ruhige Lage. Die Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein - gerade nach einem langen Tag in der schönen Stadt. Die Vermieter haben ein paar snacks bereitsgestellt. Es ist alles sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Parken vor oder in der Nähe auf öffentlichen Parkplätzen ohne Gebühr. Vielen Dank.

Everything was really clean and the rooms were lovely decorated. When we came we had snacks and water in the room for us. That was really nice, especially after a long flight.
The hosts were also really friendly and tried to help when something was needed!
We had a great stay in Vancouver:)
The apartment is in the basement. The walls are really thin so you could hear everything from upstairs.
People who are sensitive to noise shouldn't consider this place.
It was okay for us because we left early in the mornings and returned in the evenings so we nearly heard nothing from upstairs.

Check in and check out was very easy. The owners are responsive and friendly, and aware of tenants in context of their home.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like - it’s just that there could be storage provided in bedrooms ie: chests of drawers.

Very clean. Nice area. Quiet. It was a great place to stay for a few days. It would definitely be great for a few weeks if visiting Vancouver area.

The place was clean, had everything we needed (including air-conditioning), and it was quiet during the night. The check in was super easy, and the hosts were responsive and nice.

No dishwasher or microwave. May help to have steps (on the side of the house) leading to entrance, lit at night.

The bathroom and kitchen where is mint condition and the beds were presentable and comfy.

there are several steps on the side of the house to get to the basement apartment, and the light sensors don’t get alerted before there is a step. I almost had a bad fall. someone could potentially get hurt.

Very well appointed and comfortable apartment . Nice and clean and the basics are all there which is always a bonus (tea, coffee, cooking oils and seasoning etc) and also a basket of complimentary snacks. We liked the fact that the 2nd bedroom had 2 single beds which is much better for the teens when travelling as a family
It's not terribly close to anywhere you want to visit as a 1st time tourist to Vancouver but there are plenty of Ubers around so we never waited more than 7 or 8 minutes for one

Very clean. Great location for our needs.
Iris, the owner, was kind enough to bring a couple of baking dishes for us to make manicotti for New Year's Eve dinner. Beds and bedding were comfortable and clean. Floor heating worked very well. We would definitely stay there again.
The only small complaint is that because it is a basement apartment, there is some noise from the house upstairs.

Everything was very clean , you will find street-parking, they answered fast to our questions and everything is clear explained before and during our arrival. Doesn't matter that you are staying downstairs it is very quite. The neighborhood looks calm and quiet.

The owners were exceptionally helpful: accommodating my request for a last minute date change. Apartment was really comfortable and clean as a whistle. We appreciated the thoughtful touches e.g. snacks and tea, coffee and milk. Having travelled for 12 hours, a proper cup of tea was priceless!

Arriving after a long flight in the middle of the night (for us), we were very thankfull to find some snacks and water for us to be used. The flat is very well equipped and could be good for a longer stay.
To get to the apartment, we had to conquer a flight of stairs up and then down again. That was difficult with heavy luggage. The television was one big questionmark for us. A little help for operating it would have been appreciated.

took a bit of getting familiar with tv. no live TV. kettle didn’t work but owner replaced promptly the next day. heating unit was not working initially either. no microwave
