We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house is very clean and filled with thoughtful touches and kitchen and bathroom are well stocked. It's only 15 minutes from the redwoods and close to the ocean in a safe neighborhood. I had to work for some of the time and was easily able to conduct Zoom meeting and classes with the internet. There were no problems! The host was very communicative and I will definitely stay here again if I come up this way! Highly recommend!

Everything was great! The location can not be beat! We made the short 2 block walk to the beach everyday where my teens found lots of cool things to bring home. No farther than 3-7 minutes to any of the many good restaurants in town. The house was well stocked and so comfortable and clean! I especially liked all the coffee creamers and coffee that were there for us in the morning. Thank you Valerie!

This place exceeded my expectations. It was so beautiful and well set up, we felt instantly comfortable and at home. The kitchen was really well stocked, the bathrooms had extra amenities in case we forget something, and the rooms were spacious and well made. Overall, we had a wonderful time staying here. It was the perfect spot. Redwoods we’re within minutes of Crescent City. Only a short walk to the pacific coast where there was lots to explore. We spent our mornings walking the beach searching for unique rocks and sea glass. Followed by the afternoon hiking the redwood parks. The Rental was spacious and welcoming. The beds were comfortable. And it was well stocked with everything we needed. If we come back we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us!

What a great little cottage by the sea this is!! We loved its proximity to the coast and beach. We loved exploring the tide pools at low tide and seeing the sunset all within a 3 minute walk from the property. It was very well decorated and stocked. We had everything we could have needed or desired. Excellent hosts! Our stay made our visit to Crescent city enjoyable and memorable.

Great place to stay in Crescent City to go see the beautiful Redwoods in the Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park and visit the Northern California coast. It is only a short walk from the beach where we had fun checking for critters in the tidepools.
The bungalow is spacious, spotless, and has all that you need to cook and even bake during your stay in Crescent City.

This was a great place for us to call home base as we explored the redwoods. It was a comfortable size for three kids and three adults, the three kids bunked in one room with two beds and a cot and the adults took the other two bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped making it very easy to cook full meals, and I appreciated the selection of games on hand. The beach is just a few blocks away too!

This was such a great place to stay! Everything is open and clean - all essentials are provided and the space is clutter free making for a relaxing stay! It’s a quick walk to the beach which is awesome! The home has a washer and dryer which we appreciated since this was the second leg of our trip! Definitely recommend and would stay again!

This home is so clean and had so many extra touches that were amazing. The hosts have thought of everything! We enjoyed our visit and our 2 grandsons stayed over one night with us. They loved the bunk beds.
The only thing I would recommend is softer mattress. They are very firm and that is hard on older people, but other than that, everything was perfect. I would stay here again for sure!

We came down to crescent city again for my husbands work and usually we stay at the lucky 7 casino hotel but with 3 small kids a hotel room gets boring after a day or two especially when you’re there for THREE and a half weeks haha! This is our first time in Valerie’s home and it was hands down amazing. The house is stocked with everything you’d ever need to cook and clean, it’s beautifully decorated and overall comfy and cozy. We felt like we were at “home”, our kids loved having their own room and space to play and do school. We personally met Valerie and she is truly a kind beautiful soul. We look forward to returning to her beautiful home in the future! If you’re ever passing through and need a comfy place to stay THIS IS IT! ❤️

Such a wonderful house and Valerie was an exceptional host. She went above and beyond stocking the house for her renters. It meant a lot that we didn't have to go out and buy spices, coffee, baking supplies and condiments. There was cold drinks, popcorn and even snacks for the hungry traveler. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. Looked like something from Hearth and Home or Pottery Barn magazine. Valerie was excellent in giving recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. We enjoyed hiking the Redwoods just miles from here and the ocean view, lighthouse and seals bathing in the sun just 1.5 blocks away!

Everything about the North Coast Redwood Bungalow is amazing! It is beautiful, inviting, and comfortable. The simple stylish decor is coordinated throughout which creates a cohesively calming esthetic. It just feels good to be there! It is obvious that Valerie, the owner, put a lot of thought into preparing the place to be personable. She anticipated everything we needed from extra bedding and toothbrushes (just in case) to all the kitchen basics, including microwave popcorn and drinks! In addition to a collection of great books, a smart tv, and a wide assortment of games for all ages, Valerie gave us a list of their favorite local restaurants and activities of things to do. We felt her genuine interest in us and that she really wanted us to enjoy our stay. The Bungalow is ideally located for a quick walk to the beach or a short drive to the Redwood forest. It is a perfect home base to enjoy trees and waves. We loved our stay at the North Coast Redwood Bungalow!

I'm so impressed by this comfortable, updated and fully stocked rental! You can tell Valerie really cares for her guests. Not only does she have the items I would need to cook most meals, the chairs and beds were so comfortable! (Tbh maybe more comfy than MY home 😆) Just what I want when traveling.
I really enjoyed walking on Pebble Beach, just a couple blocks away! I have found so many beautiful agates and the sunset there is one of the best I've seen on the West Coast.

I’ve stayed in many short-term rentals for vacation and business travel, and I have to say, this property was the most well-equipped and homey property I’ve ever stayed in. Super clean, comfortable furniture, a hip vibe, and attention to detail - all spot-on! I’ll definitely book this place next time I’m in Crescent City.
