The accommodation is really clean and decorated very tastefully with quality materials. The scenery is amazing and you look out over the bay having your breakfast. It was a lovely experience and the host cooked homemade blueberry pies because it was my girlfriends birthday. Really great place!

Great location with an amazing landscape. Beautiful house, really confortable room and bed. Frédérique is a genuinely nice host. The breakfast was really good.

Beautiful view from the room overlooking the gorgeous bay. The room was very clean and comfortable. Frederique was very engaging and provided great information about the local area, pubs and restaurants. She cooked excellent and varied, hot breakfasts as well, which were very much appreciated. Parking was private and convenient. All in all, we had an excellent stay.

No negatives. The location is well beyond walking distance to the center of Clifden (10-minute drive) - but we knew this when we booked. For us, the view/comfort on Lower Sky Road outweighed being within walking distance to town, although this could perhaps be an issue for some.

Great place with amazing view over the Clifden bay. We had a very warm welcome by the host with many helpful informations about the area and places to visit. Excellent full breakfast and clean rooms.

Everything was just perfect! Lovely room with a great view. Breakfast was very good! The owner was very friendly and gave us some very good tips for dining and tours !

it’s a narrow road to get there as it’s in the middle of the country - but it’s so worth it once you’re there!

We loved everything about this place, especially Federique whose kindness and hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment she opened the door. Clifden Bay Lodge was clean, modern and our room a fair size with a brilliantly comfortable bed - the best couple of nights sleep in our road trip of Ireland.

A lovely warm welcome to this beautiful small B&B in a wonderful location. The view of the sea just across the road was amazing even on a rainy day. Frederique asked what we would like for breakfast the evening before and in the morning the breakfast was excellent. She also gave us some recommendations for restaurants and pubs in Clifden. The room was very comfortable and perfectly clean. I would love to come back here and see the Sky Road again.

Exceptional location, by the end of the world, with gorgeous sights of the bay, but still close enough to enjoy the lively city of Clifden. The host, Frederique, gave us a warm welcome, gave great advices on what to do around (and farther...). Large comfortable room with sea view. Superb homemade breakfast in a room overlooking Clifden bay under the morning sun. Only regret, that we didn't stay longer!

Breakfast was excellent. Fruit salad, fresh bread, home made scones - delicious Irish Breakfast - wish i could have eaten everything!! Frederique - the proprietor was very friendly and helpful!

The B&B is lovely. Our room was wonderful and had a great view of the ocean. Breakfast was large and delicious! Shower had great pressure and temperature. Frédérique was a lovely host and provided us with much information about the area. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
