This little gem was a great find tucked in the hills just outside the Old Town walls. Ivana, our host, was punctual, extremely responsive to questions/requests, very nice and gave us so many great recommendations throughout the entire process from booking to when we arrived in Dubrovnik. The views from here were incredible. We were very happy with our stay! We had 6 adult females stay here for 2 nights and 2 of the bedrooms were a bit tight for 2 adults + luggage so depending on your party size, this can be a great option. Also to note: Dubrovnik has LOTS of stairs and to get to/from you have to carry your luggage up and down so pack lightly and pack luggage you can carry! Ivana also arranged transport to/from Split for us via private car and our driver was just the best as well! He took us to Ston where we ate fresh oysters straight from the Bay. 5 star service + accommodations from our group!

The hot tub is another gem as once again you get to admire the outstanding view from your own little private area at the side of the apartment. The apartment was immaculately clean & tastefully decorated with basic provisions provided to get you started including a welcoming bottle of wine and water … another thoughtful gesture. You are positioned in a prime location for exploring the beautiful Old Town with all its amenities. A small supermarket is a 10 min walk away and the cable car experience and a bakery for freshly baked pastries are 5 mins away. I can not recommend this apartment enough and would definitely stay here again without a doubt should we return to Dubrovnik in the future. 5 Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ holiday experience

Lovely apartment, be physically able to traverse steps - but that goes for the whole of Dubrovnik! Hot tub is an added bonus! Ivana is very helpful and everything went very smoothly.

First and foremost, the VIEW! You will not find better. Period. The view puts this accommodation at the very top of the list. This modern, immaculate, thoughtfully appointed apartment has everything you need. Safe and secure, cozy and warm, with comfortable beds; the apartment lacks nothing. We cooked in several times, did laundry, and took full advantage of the balcony's views. Yes, there are stairs. There are stairs everywhere in Dubrovnik. It will help justify the trips to the bakery, trust me! Ivana was extraordinarily helpful arranging taxis for airport pickup and then drop off at the bus station. Her recommendations are spot on with excellent communications. You needn't look any further. This is THE place to stay in Dubrovnik.

This was a wonderful place to stay when seeing Dubrovnik, highly recommended. The view out the windows is pretty much exactly what all the artists in Dubrovnik paint as the iconic image. There really are a fair number of steps up and down -- inevitable given that old town is much lower than the surrounding hills, but something for older visitors to keep in mind.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Dubrovnik, and we were thrilled with this apartment that was just a short walk from the old town. Ivana was delightful to work with - fast to respond to any questions and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The views from the apartment's balcony are unmatched - looking down on the beautiful walled city, the marina, and nearby islands. Hot tub and outdoor lounge spaces were perfect for enjoying drinks and kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with the essentials. Be prepared to walk up/down a lot of stairs - but the views make it worth the workout!

Location, location, location! Ivana, was a great host. Her communication with us prior and during our stay was excellent. Accommodation was as pictured. The view from within the accommodation and on the patio is second to none. We spent all our time when not sleeping on the patio. The hot tub and lounging chairs on the lower level was a nice bonus. The kitchen was adequately equipped. All beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and very functional. Many people have spoken about the steps, so I will not repeat. What a view!! We spent 8 nights enjoying this beautiful property and the spectacular view! There was plenty of room for our group of 4. The patio with awning was a great spot to enjoy a coffee, glass of wine or sit and read a book As others have mentioned, there are 112 steps to get up to the apartment, so that could be challenging for some. Not sure it ever got easier, but the view was well worth the steps. The property is within a 10 minute walk to the old town where there are many restaurants and shops. There are also markets and a bakery on the street at the bottom of the steps and a beach is within a 5 minute walk. The owner was available and very responsive to any question we had. She came over quickly when we couldn’t figure out how to work the TV. She also gave us a map of the area and circled restaurant suggestions , the markets and bakery. Prior to our trip, we worked with the owner to set up transportation to and from the airport as well as a driver and guide to Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina. Zoran was a great driver and guide. He provided history of the countries and suggested places to eat and traditional dishes to try. He definitely added to our experience of each of these countries. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful view with us! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in your lovely apartment.

With stunning views across Dubrovnik and out to sea that take your breath away, the apartment is stunning and provided a fantastic base for our family from which to explore. Our host Ivana gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and great advice on local area....especially with a 3yr old in tow.

We had a wonderful stay at such an amazing apartment. Ivana was a wonderful host. She met us at the apartment and gave us wonderful suggestions for tours and restaurants. She organized pick to and from the airport and was available for questions whenever we had them. The hot tub was a major plus after long days of traveling and sight seeing! Highly recommend

The views looking from the balcony I could never get bored off. The apartment was tastefully furnished and was very comfortable. If you are not fit the stairs up to it can be hard work.

My family of 6 (5 adults and a 14 year old) stayed here for a week in August. Transfers to and from the local airport were perfect and arranged by Ivana and the driver was her partner, Zoran who also does local tours. On arrival we were dropped off on the road above and collected from the road below so we did not have to carry the cases up the steps. Ivana met us and explained all about the apartment workings and highlighted on the local map the points of interest, trips and recommended restaurants as well as the nearest supermarkets. The apartment was exactly as advertised and was very well decorated and furnished. Fortunately the cleaners had just finished when we arrived an hour before check-in which enabled us to move in right away. The Hot Tub (kept cool...) on the floor below was well used by all and most of our apartment time was spent on the balcony overlooking the City and Adriatic. A large balcony umbrella shielded us from the sun and being on the hill side we had a nice breeze. Cruise ships were moored in the bay and tendered passengers into the old harbour below. There are 220 steps from the apartment to the sea leve, divided by a small road halfway where there is a Pemo supermarket located close by as well as the Cable car station. We did most of our shopping in this Pemo to lessen the climbing. We made good use of the cooking facilities as well eating out in the old city where we found some very reasonable eateries on the side streets off of the main street - PLACA STRADUN. Ivana recommended the DOLCE VITA ice cream parlour in the old city which we visited several times and where many of the locals go. Excellent ice cream and very good value. For English real ale drinkers, like myself, a visit to the BEER FACTORY DUBROVNIK Tap room and eatery in the old town on Miha Pricata just past the Irish Pub is a must. Cheapest beer and spirits in town and the 0.50 litre FORTUNAL Pale Ale is excellent. My wife drinks Whisky and they had Johnnie walker Red Label there to keep her happy. We didn't eat there but the Burgers were huge and all the food looked good and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Apartment Tara for those that are fit for the walks but sadly not for those that are unable or wheel chair bound and if we ever make a return visit, we will make it Apartment Tara again. This home is simply amazing! Plenty of room for the four of us. The views are incredible and it’s a perfect location outside of the old town. Yes there are lots of steps to get to it, but there are steps everywhere in Dubrovnik. We went to the pastry shop at the bottom of stairs everyday for coffee and Croatian pastries. The hot tub was an extra bonus!! Ivana also arranged for our pick up in Split and we were able to stop in Stōn for fresh oysters and wine tasting. Really a great experience! If you get a chance to rent this home DO IT!!! You won’t be sorry!!!

The views are amazing!! We are an American family living in Switzerland with 3 small children (4 month, 23 month, 4 year) so traveling is always a bit of 'work' and little relaxation but we take advantage of our surroundings. I was a bit nervous about visiting Croatia in general bc of the amount of driving for us and all of the steps in Dubrovnik but it was well worth it. Do not be discouraged. Other than the steps that lead to this apartment the city is not so difficult to manage. Once you get down these steps you can easily use a stroller in town. We did the walls using Bjorn and backpack and it was not difficult. Clean and cute apartment. Sleeping accommodations were comfortable. Kitchen had what we needed. Nice sitting area outside. Hot tub is a major bonus after a long day of walking. We ended up sitting in it with our adult beverages and bringing in take-out or cooking each night. Manager very helpful and quick to respond. We would stay here again.

We had arranged airport pick up via Ivana, nice transport, being early to the accomodation Ivana kindly arranged for our baggage to be left whilst we explored. Great info from Ivana who explained everything. The appartment is up quite a lot of steps from the sea which needs considering by folks booking, but location and the views are exceptional. The appartment is well appointed well decorated and we could not fault and will go back. Ivana's recommended day out to oyster farm and wine tasting was excellent, I have forgotten our host's name Zoran or Zoltan ? but he gave us a brilliant day out. Follow his recommendations for lunch !. We were advised prior to booking that Dubrovnik can be busy but we were pleasantly suprised. This is a beautiful country with lovely people and I would highly recommend this appartment .

This apartment has a fantastic view and terrace. It is modern, clean and surprisingly spacious. There are 2 lovely bathrooms and both showers were excellent - we never had a problem with hot water. Transfers were arranged by Ivanka and they were seamless - I have no idea how we could have found it without a transfer as it is in the middle of many steps. In fact the only negative is the steps - they are brutal in the hot sun but that is the price you pay for the outstanding view. The only other negative is about Dubrovnik - we had some average some good and some very poor meals and trip advisor was not as helpful as other holidays we have been on. I think because it is so touristy it is difficult to avoid a bad meal. The place did get busy in the day but not too bad an dif you venture a little bit along the coast it was fine.

As many have noted, there is only positive to say about this apartment. Location: It is perfectly located, only 10-15 minutes walk from the old town. Quite some steps to come up the hill but the view when you sit on that deck is all worth it. The views of the old town, Lokrum and the sea are simply spectacular. We didn't have a car but were able to do everything we wanted to do by either taxi, bus or simply by walking. Apartment: The apartment itself is perfect for two couples (you could fit 3 couples since there are three bedrooms) with two bathrooms. Well furnished, modern, clean, you have everything you need. The hot tub and deck area are a nice added value also for hot sunny days! Service: Ivana is simply the best. She'll help you with transfers, excursions, restaurants, etc. She is quick to reply to emails/texts, she is always available to help with what you might need. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone!!
