if you visit Lofoten islands, then you must live the experience to book a cabin like Hennigsvaer Rorbuer. we stayed for 1 night, the cabin was magic and aurora was dancing outside all night long. very very beautiful place, clean and comfortable fully equipped with everything

neat and clean, location is convenient, staff are helpful.

Cabin was warm and had a sea view as promised. We went during the off peak season so it was very quiet. The staff there was responsive and helpful, even when we had a power outage, it was quickly fixed. The kitchen was fully equipped.

Unfortunately, we did not recieve the check in information prior to check in since the the reception was unmanned during our stay. We managed to get in touch with the 24/7 help line for check in, but it would also be good if we could receive information via email/booking.com/whatsapp to avoid international call charges.

Easy Check-in and Check-out procedure. Received a phone call with all necessary instructions when Rorbuer was prepared and ready.

cabin was spacious for 4 people. clean with plenty of kitchen utensils to cook a meal. beds were comfy.

the check in process. the reception was closed with door locked when we arrived at 17:00. no instructions on the door except a phone number. I tried with my phone and it didn’t work. my friend tried and finally got through to someone who gave us the cabin number and told us it was unlock and the key was inside. they said they had sent a text and email with instructions but I never received it. very confusing.

Was very clean and offered a rorbuer experience in cabins. Nice shower. Car park next to cabin.

Bunk beds were very high and a bit unsafe for children. Nice water views but a little remote from the centre of Henningsvaer.

squeaky floor, thin walls, rambling on running water, empty handwash dispenser, unstable shower gel dispenser, beds tiny, overall construction seem cheap.

Excellent view from the terrace of our cottage. Staff was lovely. 15 minutes walk to Henningsvær.

Cottage a bit outdated. The bedrooms were in the loft.

The panorama was wonderful. The staff was friendly, We feel like a fisherman! The village with good restaurants is a little longer walk. The morning with birds was unforgettable..

Everything was ok

The rorbu experience was lovely. The place was adorable, the staff friendly and the firewood sauna and pier to jump into the water from was perfect. Couldnt be any better😊

Everything was lovely and the food at the restaurant was great. The staff were very welcoming!

The price of the hot tub and sauna was very high and it would be nice if on hot days rooms could be provided with fans or windows opened before arrival. The room was very warm.

the receptionist left early before closing time and lied to me on the phone about sending a message. messages always go through with booking.com. my message from a week before arrival was never answered, only after our stay, ridiculous. nowhere is mentioned that the sauna has a fee of 900 kroner although I asked about it beforehand. that’s poor service

The fan in the bathroom wouldn't switch off. Tried to contact staff by phone, but no reply and no answerphone. Reception was closed for the whole of our stay.

The cabin was very well heated, particularly the bathroom floor! It´s in a good location, although a little far from the town center if you are just walking and want to dash out for some groceries.

The kitchen is very simple, with basic facilities, the room very small and the place has started to look a little oldish, it needs some updating and TLC.

I was very surprised about how much we enjoyed this place. From the outside it looks like a basic cabin, but once inside it has a cozy rustic cabin feel. everything was very clean. bathroom was spacious, had heated floors which dried the floors quickly since the shower water did get everywhere. kitchen had everything you needed, soap and sponges. linens and towels provided. comfortable beds. plenty of different seating areas inside. plenty of parking in front. the town itself it cute and has grocery store and eating places just short distance walk.

the rooms did get warm, the windows did not open much. it was hard to sleep because of that. it would be nice to have a fan or something to use. We had noisy neighbors the first 2 nights. they were using some generator or something right next to our cabin and late into the night which was inconsiderate. maybe rules on when and where to do that would be nicer. otherwise we loved our stay and definitely would come back.

The reception staff were extremely helpful. Rustic cottage, but fully functional for modern living.

Everything was fine, nothing not to like!
