This was the most idyllic location and vacation that we've been on in a very, very long time! Pictures did not do it justice. Terrific!!!!

Had a great time. Kids got a mix of outdoor and indoor entertainment. Adults enjoyed the fire pit and the patio. Coming from California, we appreciated being surrounded by nature. Some of us are close to coming, others like glamping. This property gave a good balance to both. Kitchen was very usable. A few nitpicks that would enhance our experience a bit more the next time: 1. Patio furniture was dusty 2. Spider webs in some places 3. Not sure if the hosts can do something about it but the outdoor area had a lot of bugs and caterpillars probably due to the rain All in all, a memorable stay. Thanks for being a great host, will definitely recommend.

What a wonderful place!! The location was outstanding and in a great neighborhood...mwe never left! We loved every single thing about the cabin. The rustic all log/wood home, the stone fireplace, the pool table and fire pit but most of all the outdoor area and the creek. The property backs up on a state forest and we loved the privacy and ability to hike in the forest and creek walking. The doggo, myself and 2 sons had an amazing get away and we can't wait to come back! Eugene is a great host, thank you so mich for allowing us to stay on your place. We will be back!!!

It was our 2nd visit at this rental. We love the back of the property; very private with beautiful river and fire pit. The interior is basic and clean. Activities nearby.

We had lot of fun at the cabin even in winter, I would book it again for the summers!

This was our second time at this location.. we love it, beautiful weather, quiet, relaxing. Everything you could ask for.

The cabin is so cute, clean and spacious. Very nicely decorated. Simple yet a modern, mountain style. The sheets and towels provided smelled so clean. The beds were so comfortable. We all had great sleeps because of the comfort. The appliances are new and work great. The kitchen had everything for cooking .The outside is well kept. The sound of the stream is VERY relaxing. The house backs up to woods, so even though there are houses and both sides it still feels secluded. I walked my dog through the woods every day( which is very rocky). The stream is a short downhill walk from the house, but is still visible from the house. The basement is nice and clean with a pool table. Seems like some sort of sewer/well is in there somewhere but its really not a bother. All in all it was a great stay. Im not crazy about saw creek estates. I wish this property was somewhere else, so i would return. I have no desire to return to saw creek. Wasnt the type of vacation place I was looking for . Alot of homes seem vacant or unkept. No shoulder on the road for walking or riding bikes. People had to walk in the street, This home is very well taken care of it deserves to be somewhere else! one other thing is very large long steps leading to the cabin that my elderly parents had difficulty getting up and down. The steps leading to the 2nd floor are small and difficult so my parents had to sleep on 1st floor in a large bottom bunk and had trouble getting out of the bunk in the middle of the night to use the restroom. other than that we had a great time! Beautiful cabin. Eugene is helpful and quick to respond!

Location next to creek was perfect. It was a great place to sit, relax and cool off The pools were clean and refreshing

Our stay was wonderful! One review mentioned a smell---did not have that problem! We eloped in the backyard by the stream, it was beautiful and the cabin made for amazing pictures. It is very dim, but I felt that was part of the appeal. We had a bit of trouble getting and keeping it warm on the first floor, but with a fire going it was became comfortable, the basement however was always chilly. But it really wasn't a problem--the over all feel was fantastic. Quick responses from the property manager, clean beddings and towels, dishes and Utensils. It was an overall great experience!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this rustic cabin next to the river. The size of the house was perfect for our family, we especially loved the large dining table and fireplace. We would definitely recommend it to our family and friends.

We had a great experience. Everything was so clean, and the house was well maintained. It was amazing and the view to the river was spectacular.

My family had a great time, check in was easy neighborhood was nice, and house was great. But when booking make sure you tell them you want towels and linens. When we got there there were none. I messaged the host and he stated that in I contact I didn’t request them….. so they aren’t included unless you request when booking. However after messaging the host the cleaning lady did come and give them to us in a timely manner. She was super sweet. So except for that everything was great..

This was a perfect weekend away for our family. The cabin was rustic and comfortable. Although there are houses nearby we felt totally secluded and immersed in nature. It was very easy to work with you Jean and the check in process was seamless. Would definitely rent this house again.

The location was great, especially if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of living in the city. It was quiet and loved staying in the backyard and being in touch with nature. The place was spacious, but it’s dusty and have cobwebs in some areas of the house. The porch could have used some cleaning too.

We stayed with friends and really enjoyed being in the woods and close to the river.

It had a very rustic cabin feel. Clean bathrooms, nice common areas and a beautiful backyard with the creek right there. I would stay here again.

Love the seclusion!

It’s was a great place to stay was so relaxing and everything was excellent for me and my family we would luv too come back just was a little disappointed that only six people can only go in the pool but other then that I would go back

This house not only had character bc it was a log cabin but it also was situated on the border line of the Pennsylvania State Forest boundary! It was right next to a flowing water creek/river and had a fire pit and outdoor seating next to water and around the pit! We cooked all our meals (whether on the grill or in the kitchen) and had everything we needed to get the job done. Bunk beds were fun for the kids, fireplace inside was so relaxing when they all went to bed. We will ABSOLUTELY be back to this house. Stayed in Saw Creek Community before and this house was by far superior! Thanks Eugene!!!

This log cabin is an absolute gem. We loved the windows overlooking the creek. Fireplaces made it feel extra cozy. Had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to others.

Cabin was nice overall. Property would be beautiful in the warmer months. Biggest downfall would be the mattress on the beds; they are thin and not the best for a good nights sleep especially after skiing all day.

Very clean, cozy, near Shawnee Mountain skiing. The view from the dining area is absolutely gorgeous! House had everything we needed for group of 10. The upstairs bedrooms were very roomy and cozy. As other guests have noted, the rooms are not soundproof, but we did not mind. There is nothing negative to say about this beautiful cabin! We will definitely book again!
