Notre maison est directement sur l'eau avec une cour spacieuse pour barbecue (barbecue à gaz Ducane), bain de soleil (chaises longues fournies), natation, kayak (kayak une et deux personnes fourni), pêche (lac est rempli de truites), ou faire une sieste dans le hamac pour 2. Léger et lumineux avec des fenêtres mur à mur donnant sur l'eau et une cheminée à bois confortable pour les soirées romantiques. Hiver: patin à glace, pêche sur glace, domaine skiable à proximité. Services: air climatisé central / chauffage, appareils électroménagers en acier inoxydable, laveuse et sécheuse, TV à écran plat, draps et serviettes fournis. Pas de bateaux à essence bruyants autorisés, seulement canoë, kayak ou ponton électrique. Beaucoup de restaurants, antiquités, sentiers de vin, golf, tubes de rivière, Warner Theatre pour les spectacles, et Mohegan Sun et Foxwood Casinos sont à une heure de route. Deux lits Queen, un canapé-lit Queen. Occupation maximale 4 personnes. Nous sommes une propriété qui accepte les animaux.

What a wonderful location. The home provided everything needed and is a beautiful renovation.

Positives, Good Owner response, home is well appointed.
Negatives, this was a rental and I do not expect to find sheets left out to make the bed, I paid to use the house and do not want to call the owner if I choose to adjust the heat. On Check Out Sheet, it was suggested that the bedding, towels and laundry be started prior to leaving. We have rented numerous homes, have a great rating and have never encountered these issues.

This charming lakefront cottage on Lake Harwinton was perfect for our getaway weekend. Lots of room for the 2 of us and our dog. The cottage was super-clean and comfy, with lovely views of the lake; the interior decor was delightful. The house was stocked with everything you could think of. It was an easy drive to local grocery and dining. The Lake Harwinton area was quiet with lakefront cottages and it was a comfortable 1-2 mile walk on the road around the lake. Rainy weather prevented us from making use of the kayaks, deck and grill, but we still had a great time. We would love to return!

My cousin and I stayed at this charming cottage on the lake for a girl's weekend visiting three wineries on the CT Wine Trail. It was the perfect location to get to them all easily. The house itself was wonderful, very homey. Loved the warm furniture, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, and of course the lake views/access was the absolute BEST part. Gorgeous views from the house and only steps to the lakefront from the deck. We will definitely be back!

Really beautiful spot, house was very clean and stocked with anything you might need. Lake was lovely for swimming and kayaking. Even the neighbors were friendly and welcoming! Will definitely come back next summer!

I really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was perfect. Cozy and the view of the lake was spectacular. Very easy to get out and kayak. The property manager was very responsive. It is very quiet there. I hope to stay again.

It was the first anniversary of my brother in law's passing and I wanted to do something special for my sister. I flew from Seattle to spent the week with her and we stayed in this lovely home.
The view was amazing. Frequently, we would just sit and quietly watch nature on the lake, children fishing off the little bridge across the way...
The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our dinners and breakfast.
This was the perfect staycation for my sister, just what she needed.

The hosts have taken the house down to the studs and remodeled it in 2014 and beyond. It is in very good shape with everything you would want in a vacation home. The lake is beautiful.

Very clean and peaceful stay for a long weekend getaway. A very nice surprise was they have dog gates on deck!!!! Will rent again and I am recommending to church friends who also need respite !!

We just returned from a very relaxing stay at Harwinton Lake. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed during our visit. We enjoyed sitting by the lake on cool, crisp fall days, taking in the views and the wildlife. The location was perfect. We took several walks around the lake and also visited parks in the vicinity. The property owners were terrific and quickly responded to any requests during our stay. Many thanks for a fantastic trip.

My husband and I (and our golden retriever dog) really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful lakeside house! Owner was very responsive from the moment we booked. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, well-stocked, and the instructional labels throughout the house are a nice touch! Central air, modern appliances, and access to tv streaming made our stay very convenient and comfortable. Love the large windows with gorgeous views of the lake. Our dog had fun playing in the water (and Burr State Park is only 15 min drive with well marked hiking trails). We used the provided kayaks to explore the lake area, and did s’mores using the fire pit right next to the lake. Overall this was a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend this host.

I seriously could not have been more thrilled with this last minute leap of faith reservation. The house is adorable, very comfortable, has everything you could possibly think of and let’s not even talk about this absolutely serene view of this beautiful private lake. This was a last minute getaway with my family after a very crazy summer. Such a dream, we even asked to stay longer (at the request of my kids). Neighbors are all kind and the 2 mile walk around the lake is a beautiful sight. The owners are super sweet, accommodating and very responsive in a timely manner. Zero complaints here! If I could give 10 stars, I would!

This home is beautiful! If you are looking for a getaway that is peaceful, this is your place. I spent 2 nights here with my childhood friends for our year of turning 50. We just wanted peace and quiet. The neighbor was so kind too

What a great little spot to rest and relax with friends or family. Clean, bright, and comfortable, the place had everything we needed and then some. Ella was responsive and accommodating. I would consider staying again!

We had a great time at this nice little lakeside home. The house was beautiful and well stocked. The lake was amazing and so relaxing. It was so convenient having water access right in the backyard so you could go back and forth to the house whenever needed. This was especially helpful while having our toddler with us. Would definitely love to come back again!
