Beautiful property. View from the deck was even better than I'd hoped for and we had wonderful weather. Notes and snacks left by the owner were greatly appreciated. As mentioned previously, the steps into the house can be an issue for someone with limited mobility.

This is a very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped short term rental. I think this was the best VRBO place we have used. Plenty of room with 4 bedrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped. It is in a rural area, so there could be a drive to get some things. However, the basics are near. Fairfield Bay, a developed community, has restaurants and services. The town of Greer's Ferry is across the lake via bridge and it has more.
This house was the perfect place to kick back. It is also central to some of our family so it worked well to get together with them. We enjoyed fishing on the lake with a friend.
However, the most amazing thing about this house is the view. It is spectacular! You have a breath-taking overlook of the Middle Fork Little Red River just before it flows into the lake. We spent most of our time on the deck taking in the view and watching birds. We counted over 35 species in our short stay.

We loved the house and location. I grew up in FairField Bay and come up quite often. This time we brought the entire family and spent most of the time on the lake. We had everything we could possibly need at this house. It was so nice to sit on the back porch and enjoy the view. We will definitely be back to rent this house again!

A great place to stay. Convenient to Fairgield Bay and Greers Ferry. This is a well-equipped place. Everything was great. The best feature is the amazing view from the deck.

Check-in was a breeze. House was just as described. Close to whatever you need. Wish the weather was nicer so we could've enjoyed the deck more but we still had wonderful time. Definitely worth the money.

You know that excited feeling when you first arrive at a property? It's always our favorite part - walking in, looking around, taking in all that you'll get to enjoy over the next several days. This is the best "walking in" experience we've ever had. Everything was so well thought out - the decorations, the little extras, the comforts of home that you really want in a vacation property - it was all so perfect.
One thing to note that is when renting it, I didn't consider an older aunt I have that has a little trouble walking. Everything is on the main floor so she didn't need to go upstairs, but there are a few steps from the parking areas to the living quarters that she had trouble with. There is an enclosed garage for you to park (that was a great plus!) as the driveway was quite steep.
The only thing that is upstairs is the kids' room. It was ideal for them. They made a huge fort out of the two bunk beds and had a blast in that room. There is also a separate air conditioner up there which is nice.
All around a perfect getaway spot - we plan to return one of these days. :)

The home was located in a nice quite neighbor hood. My grandchildren saw deer each day. The view was amazing. Great Home. Great Location. The stay was excellent. The home was well maintained and clean. Owners we very nice and responed to amy questions quickley.

Overall great place beautiful view the driveway was a little step but a flat parking spot at the top made up for it .. I would recommend it to anyone who would like a nice quiet getaway with a wonderful view!!!

Rented the house for a guys weekend getaway! It was a perfect place to stay. The house was beautiful and very clean. The house is updated with great appliances, outdoor grill and very comfortable beds. The guys enjoyed the deck with a gorgeous view of the lake and the ping pong table for a little competition! It ended up being too cold to get on the lake, so they went to Fairfield Bay one afternoon to go bowling. There is ATV riding available by the bowling alley, but you have to call ahead to ride. Brandi was super to work with and an excellent host! Will definitely recommend this house to friends and family!
