It was clean and neat, and the location was great! It is a Waldorf Astoria "residence" being run by other people. Not by the Waldorf staff. Read the part we didn't like, and you'll understand what I'm saying. I would give this all 5 stars, but.....

The elevator was out of order for the entire stay, and we were not notified beforehand even though it was out of order before we arrived. We had to drag 6 large suitcases up the stairs plus all the handbags without any help or even an offer from the staff. We would have found a different place to stay if we had known. Management claimed they did not know about it but when asking the people working in the building about it they all said that it was down for a few days and the Management had been notified much earlier than our arrival. The last night and morning of our stay was the most upsetting. While trying to contact the management about our questions, we got very short and curt answers or even totally ignored us. Basically, telling us we got your money now leave. It's really a shame because until then everything was very pleasant. We kept everything clean and neat until then. When we experienced that type of behavior, we just gave up and left everything.

Only observation was we would have liked some water in the fridge when we arrived. It was late and we were very thirsty after a long trip. Minor but would have been nice.

The girl at the front desk was very not nice, we checked out on time but our taxi was coming an hour later we asked to leave our suit case in the back room, she refused, was very arrogant

Too many logistics issues - it took 1/2 hour to get to the apartment after arrival. Front door sometimes has been closed and we had too look for security in order to get in. TV remote control did not work properly
