Excellent staff who greater us at

To start, the girls at the front were very nice. Unfortunately, my stay was terrible! There were literally drug addicts walking around inside and outside. They kept me up threw the night on two occasions as I was there for 10 nights. I couldn't change hotels because the hotel had already been submitted threw work. The hot tub had 4 inches of foam on top, it was so dirty. I couldn't use the bath tub because the plug was broken. One morning there was white stuff all over the hallway in front of my door from a vent in the ceiling. I changed rooms 3 times because of noise and other issues. One room the floor to the bathroom was sinking. The air conditioner in another room didn't work. I am thankful I never have to stay here again. Worst hotel experience I have ever had! Even though the girls at the front desk were nice, I couldn't even look at the staff after I left as I was so upset. My final exams were after my last night there. I did not sleep the entire night because of someone opening and shutting all night.(not exagerating at all!). I'm lucky I passed. Do not stay here!!!

room was clean and breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options which also included egg, bacon, home style potatoes, and pancakes. Free parking.

I was charged twice for the same stay. I did it authorize the second billing. I attempted calls to the hotel and was unable to contact anyone. I attempted a general toll free number for Best Estern but was put in a queue at position 97 for a projected 1.5 hour wait.

The front desk during the check in and check out were both great.

This is our second stay at the Best Western in Maple Ridge....it is conveniently situated for when we visit our family. The room was spotlessly clean both times.....Coffee maker microwave fridge & television all provided. There was also an iron. The counter space in the bathroom was somewhat challenging.....very small. The breakfast room was quite spartan....paper plates plastic forks & spoons etc....a bit basic but adequate. Despite the fact that it's right on the highway it was perfectly quiet at night.

Overall a nice place

Staff were very friendly and helpful, meeting our needs and requests. Overall, room conditions were well maintained and serviced Hotel roadside signage was not eye-catching enough, especially when we were driving, already slowing down, in the evening when it was raining. We missed the driveways to the hotel parking lot.

Older facility but reasonably clean

I stayed in room 202 on September 13th. A group of people were talking/screaming in the parking lot, right underneath my room untill 11h45 pm. Guests were shuffling back and forth between rooms until 12h30am. They entered the lobby around 11h50 talking very loudly. Seemed like wedding guests. They headed to the second floor and the staff did not handle the situation even after I politely complained. You could hear a couple of kids running and screaming until 12h30 at night in the second floor corridor just outside my door. The mattress of the king sized bed is less comfortable than the 180$ Walmart mattress in my camper-van. It noticeably dips in the middle. The comforter of the bed is super thin. No bathrobes is provided in the room. The plumbing of the bathroom sink is completely exposed. The bathroom door shows noticeable warping at the bottom from exposure to humidity. Instead of fixing the issue with a better extractor fan and new door, a fresh coat of paint was applied to "fix" the issue. You walk around the corridors of the building and see that wall moldings was pulled out without replacement or painting. The room window is not soundproofed at all. Not only could you follow the conversation happening outside, you hear every car passing outside to the point the you can guess what motor they have. The LG TVs are awful and there is a disappointing selection of channels. Not worth the price. Any other motels/hotels in the area will give you a better experience.

After checking in, we went to our room only to find a huge mess of paint trays filled with wet paint and other tools. My daughter almost tripped into the wet paint with a child on her arm. The bathroom had no shower curtain so the bathroom got completely soaked. The hallways were full of messy construction material. The breakfast ended at 9:30 am on a Saturday, which was too early for my family, so we we were unable to have the breakfast we paid for. Our experience was bad and we do not recommend this hotel.

Elevator was very slow. Paint peeling from the walls and ceiling. Room had used condom wrappers around the bed when I checked in. Noise from the air conditioner sounded like someone was crawling around the room. From desk was not friendly and tried to refuse to give me a receipt upon checkout.

It fulfilled me requirements for ,,a close to Vancouver on a budget,, request.

The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast had all the items you expect there to be. The staff were very nice and friendly

We took a family vacation. Before booking, I called the hotel directly and specifically asked if the pool was heated (aside from the spa) and was told it was. I then asked again, the pool is heated, correct? To which the person replied yes. I booked the room, I get there and the pool is not heated. I ask the lady at the counter about it and she said that she didn't know and that she'd ask the maintenance person, she comes back and says that they'll turn the heat on...they never did.

Staff was friendly

Shower wouldn’t drain. Took hours before the next person could use unless they wanted a bath at the same time.

This hotel is overpriced, Breakfast is ok, not much variety. Pool and hot tub is nice. Staff is not very friendly. It’s just way over priced for what you get. The location is in a bad area of Maple Ridge

Room seemed clean. Nice they offered continental breakfast and had a small indoor pool. Only frustrating thing was the internet was “down”

We liked that we were close to the arena where our son's were playing in a Nation Cup tournament. Plenty of nearby stores, restaurants, gas stations, atms,. Complimentary breakfast was also convenient. Thank you for your hospitality. I would consider this place to otheres.

Well if I were the Best Western corporation I wouldn’t want my name attached to this property. Staff were nice enough but it seems like they are running this location bare bones and it’s struggling. Maintenance and cleanliness and general is far behind. $10 crib fee too. I’ve never been at a place charging for a crib. If they are charging for cribs (which is ridiculous to me since they have them available) they should be able to afford the staff needed to keep the pool clean and maintained. Our room had three towels when our reservation was for four and they were different sizes. They were seriously struggling to keep up with the breakfast with everything empty or broken midway through the breakfast hours. Staff were nice enough but probably super over worked. I wouldn’t have believed this was a best western if I didn’t see the signs , it reminded me of the old school motels back in the day that were half the price of the chains - but you got what you paid for. Here they are still charging prices of the reputable chain hotels but providing services of the old school motels.

The staff was the only good thing about our stay here. The entire hotel appeared to be unclean. The floors in the hallway and the room looked as if they had not been cleaned in a very long time. Fire doors propped open closet doors in hallway just hanging out. Beds appeared very old. Rooms looked like they were tidied not cleaned. Remote was sticky with god knows what stuck all over it. Pool was cloudy and did not appear clean. This was a very dreadful stay and disappointing for for a BW hotel. The front staff were very friendly but that was it. Never again

when check in, one staff asked to collect CAD 100 per room. The staff than ask my friend to use her card to do so.But,one staff used the card i provided online to pay for the deposit and now is show pending on my card. than, the other staff charged through my friend card for the rooms instead. It was a very messy check in and a lot of misunderstanding... Please tell hotel not to charge on the card i had provided online for the CAD 100... My friend had paid all the room charge at the point of checking in
