It was horrible. Pool not working, rooms dirty.

The lobby was a disaster. The room was clean, very clean. There were no amenities, although some were advertised on the website. And, most important, the air conditioner did not work. There was no phone in-room to call the front desk (not kidding) so I walked in the heat to the office. Long story short, the a/c could not be fixed until the next day. Since I had a one-night stay, that was not a really great option. They added fees for using a credit card (not kidding) and for the pet, although they advertised as pet friendly. Also, there was no place to walk your pet! All in all a very unsatisfactory experience. I would have given it no stars, but that was not an option—and the room was clean.

I had to wait 15 minutes for change of shift at 3pm to check in. Shouldnt that not coincide with check in time? The ladies at the desk were very nice and friendly. There was a lit of construction going on around the place, but it was not noisy or an inconvenience. It looks like ownership is trying to rejuvenate a once mediocre hotel. The room that I had was newly renovated, comfortable, and acceptable. I did not see any bugs or faulty plumbing, AC, etc as other reviews stated. I almost took the booking as a losss and rescheduled elsewhere once I saw the reviews, but I gave it a chance. Im glad that I did. I was only in the room a cumulative 12 hours out of the 48 that I rented it for, so it was a great value. I will say that the room was clean with no smells, bugs, etc, but with it being a newly remodeled room in a current construction zone, the floors couldve been mopped srveral more times to get rid of the construction dirt and dust. However, I understand that its difficult with ongoing construction and it did not alter my review of the room or establishment. I traveled aline and I was not apprehensive of my surroundings at all and was impressed with the amount of security cameras and parking I would stay here again.

There were roaches in the room

Looks nothing like the pictures, the TV didn't even work, no trees or shrubs or anything in the court yard and one of the pools had been filled in. And their cash deposit is a scam!! We checked in at midnight and we're planning to leave at 6am. The guy at the counter said we'd have to stay until 7am for his manager to get there to get our deposit back. I checked out at 7:30 am and the same guy that checked me in said the manager comes in at 8am. I don't understand why I couldn't get my deposit back when he had plenty of cash in the register. Also, how can your manager have the deposits if he wasn't there when I checked in and he still wasn't there when I checked out!? Don't stay here. Just pay the extra money and stay in the business district or travel to Slidell.

The staff was nice but the place is an absolute roach infested dump with an unsafe bad location.

Would not give me the rooms I paid for very rude .

This place is over priced and on need of remodeling bad. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I only stayed one night but that was enough to be horribly disappointed.
