These wasn’t any heat and the bathroom was dirty

I've stayed at many budget motels over the years and for most of them there is a basic standard that most people expect from them. Unfortunately this Motel 6 in La Grange, GA did not satisfy my expectations which to be honest I wasn't expecting anything other than a clean and comfortable room and bathroom. The overall condition of the room was so obviously dirty from poor cleaning. Dirty mirrors, very stained towels, stained and dirty carpeting. The bathtub backed up water just by taking a shower, the water was above my ankles. Gross!! The Heating unit sounded like an airplane was landing the whole time it was on. I will definitely avoid staying at motel 6 in the future. This place is very old and needs to be demolished.

All the staff were friendly and nice, the facility was in rough shape with updated furnishings. The air conditioning didn’t cool the room down even in mild fall temps. Door would not secure so it would just open on its own. Floor was so dirty it would turn your feet black in one trip across the room. Could not get towels for a shower. Bed fitted sheets would not fit the bed so they wouldn’t stay on. People outside were smoking marijuana during the night bad enough to give us a headache in the room. We ended up getting a refund for our second night and ended up just going home after the day’s activities instead of staying our second night.

Rooms half updated

Look like a small community live there.

There was black mold on the outside of the air vents in the room. The bathroom was so gross we didn't use it. The floor was sticky with shoes on. Ended up leaving and would never go back.

Sketchy area. Bed bug infestation. Only stayed a portion of the first night out of 3 schedules. Property management refused refund for the other nights. Stay clear of this property

Room was dirty, tub was not clean, bed sheets & sink had hair everywhere. Moved to another room & it was worse than the 1st room! The new room also had hair on the sick & also dried toothpaste stuck on the sink from the previous guests. So disgusting!! I checked out immediately & checked into another hotel. I will NEVER, EVER visit this hotel again!!! BEWARE, do not stay here if you are a clean decent person!

Easy check in and excellent customer service.

The motel was very old. Our room did not look like pictures at all. It was clean and beds were comfortable. But the tub, tile, and towels were stained. grout work and tile work was horrible. There was a mirror mounted on top of a mirror, and they were completely different sizes and shapes. There were no electrical outlets besides the one on the tv. We will not stay here again and I will not recommend this motel.

Need clean

Unfortunately it was very very disappointing. I was asked to bring my linen to the front desk to be washed and come back to pick them up. I stayed a total of 2 nights. Had I known the service of quality was such I would have went somewhere else. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

My stay was good. Kevin at the front desk is nice. Very personable. Hotel room was clean and in good condition.. Several things close by food, shopping,gas. IHOP attached.

No breakfast

The staff that I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. My wife and I appreciate it the courtesy with which we were treated.

Our stay was far from satisfactory. The cleanliness was a significant issue, with the bedding appearing dirty and stained. The floors were also in a poor state, seeming quite filthy. Interestingly, the pools were advertised as "seasonal," but were surprisingly covered during the summer. The property also operated as a studio/long-term rental. Unfortunately, the resident culture was not welcoming. The residents were quite loud and had a possessive attitude towards the property. The overall condition of the property was disappointing and in dire need of improvement. We arrived late, which curtailed our ability to address these issues immediately. However, we made it a point to leave as early as possible the following morning. Unless you are comfortable with a hotel that feels reminiscent of a rent-by-the-hour establishment, I would strongly advise against staying here.

The lady at check in was very ni ice but the room was not upto what i expexted

No shampoo or conditioner provided nor did the a/c work properly.. and they told us on the phone they had a pool and that was the reason I booked there . The pool is not open and covered up

I was thankful to have an affordable place to live prior to finding more permanent housing. However, this hotel was unreasonablly filthy with trash everywhere. Our toilet leaked, our microwave was broken, but the worst part of all was the extremely rude staff. I would feed the birds outside my room each morning. I didn't think it was a big deal. One day while I was alone in my room a worker started beating on my door violently and entered my room without my permission while I was alone and in a state of undress. Then he exit the room and I quickly got dressed bewildered at what just happened. He screamed at me that i had to stop feeding the birds because it was a health and safety issue and it takes 30 minutes to clean (one pop tart? really?!) Then 2 workers ambushed me screaming and demanding I clean up the pop tart crumbs. I didn't realize feeding birds was a crime. If you are so worried about health and safety, why don't you clean up the trash strewn everywhere instead of bullying me for feeding some birds? Also, the pillows were so flimsy and uncomfortable I had to buy new ones at Walmart so my neck wouldn't hurt . Unless you are desperate with extremely limited funds....look elsewhere!

the worst motel experience i have ever had ...the motel is falling apart, pool was in a state of disrepair, bathroom in the room i stayed in was dirty and brown stained tiles , asked for clean sheets because i noticed some stains on the sheets when i first got there and was told they dont have housekeeping .. there are several other hotels around the area and i picked this off the price ...but i still didnt expect the state of disrepair and lack of cleanliness

The Dirtiest unsanitary place I’ve ever stayed! Worst Place Ever we only had the room for a few hours just to take a break from driving with the kids, but the room wasn’t clean my son went to use the restroom there were dirty smelly socks behind the door when he closed it ! Just the worst the best didn’t have pillow cases my husband had to walk to the front desk and get pillow case’s and clean sheets for us to sleep on! I’ve been to several motel 6 all over , but this had to be the worst place I’ve ever stayed people don’t waste your money here.

Despite many other reviews I feel this hotel was great for the price. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was bigger than other more expensive ones I have stayed in. Check in/out was quick. Had no issues.

We did not feel safe and the room was far from clean. No shampoo no hair dryer no coffee. Not at all worth the price. The yelling and carrying on in the middle of the night was very disrespectful. The only good thing I can say is that the woman at the desk was very nice, courteous and friendly

That thing I didn’t like when you open the room have a smell we asked for towels we didn’t get it. We found roaches and people outside smoking weed not to say for my family

The price was right, but it was very noisy. The window AC rattled and there were several noisy people in the parking lot till late in the evening. We were looking for a cheap place to get a couple of hours of sleep. I guess we got what we paid for.
