Lovely two night stay for us with our two dogs at the George hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean although it would've been helpful to have a grab rail in the shower for us 'oldies'.

Had a very good experience and the staff were excellent especially in trying to sort out minor issues. Special thanks to the maintenance man who sorted out our tv.

If I was staying more than the one night I would have asked to change rooms as the water pressure in the shower was very low, but was OK for 1 night

Hotel room was poor. Bed was hard and the pillows were cheap with no support for sleeping. Shower with very low water pressure. The shower stand which was attached to wall fell off. Mould was around shower tray. Also no toilet brush. We could not sleep in room not just because of the bed. It was far to hot in room and couldn't turn the radiator down. Managed to force window open but the view was where they washed linen. Also staff were standing next to outside window smoking so obviously the smell of cigarettes came into our room. Will not be recommending thus hotel to our friends. Hotel manager did however not charge us for the night we were there.

Booked in for 1 night after a day out in Thetford. First impression wasn’t great as car park sign was pointing the opposite direction so had no idea where car park was. I was then having to park up the road in public car park. Hotel is nice and staff very friendly. My issue came when I went into the room. It was so hot. I opened the window which looked onto the road junction and this cooled it slightly. However trying to sleep in a hot room next to a road junction isn’t great. I didn’t have the best nights sleep

Not the greatest hotel we've ever been in but by no means the worst either. Small hints of damp on the walls in our room (top floor) and the wardrobe wasn't the best, but fine apart from that. Staff at breakfast seemingly not always aware of who had ordered their cooked options.

It was OK for an overnight stay as we needed somewhere close to Sandringham for a concert. Good FREE parking. Very nice breakfast with lots of choice.

The hotel itself is in need of a refurb. But for 1 night away it was acceptable.
There was black mould around the bath and the shower head was clogged up with limescale.
The room itself needed redecorating and a new bathroom.
The bed was nice and big but rock hard so we hardly slept. It was like trying to sleep on the floor. We both had to have painkillers in the morning due to the discomfort. I did point all this out to reception on check out.
On the plus side the breakfast was good.

The service in the restaurant wasn't great, for dinner or breakfast!
I had a bath and when I emptied it, it all came up the shower and it smelt bad. The overall smell in the bathroom wasnt good either.

Carpets were worn down to the treads on the stairs, bathrooms out of the 1970s, decor and fitting all need renewing. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel was adequate for our needs, but goes into the category of "tired". It is a traditional inn-style property with a comparatively modern extension attached to the rear. The rooms and bathrooms serve their purpose, but are unappealing and rather shabby.

We stayed two nights for a friends wedding nearby including eating at the hotel for breakfast twice and dinner once.
The staff are friendly and approachable, the room was clean, the location is good and overall we had a really enjoyable stay.

We had a very pleasant two night stay. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The food was very good. Excellent location for Swaffham centre. The bedroom was well equipped and and comfortable. The only sad thing was that the accommodation ie. Bathroom, bedroom and door locks etc. were all functional but dated and needed updating and TLC applied. Otherwise we had a nice stay.

Bit tired all round - first time I had a physical key to access my bedroom for a long time!
I'd asked for a double bed, but was given a room with two singles. Not a major gripe, apart from two things:
1. The first bed I tried was AWFUL. It had a terrible lean to one side and ended up having to change beds.
2. As the hotel had what looked like limited guests staying, they could easily have given me a room with a double bed.

Had a wonderful stay. All staff friendly & helpful. Always attentive & with a smile. Clean room & comfortable large bed. Hotel does need some TLC in a lot of places. The hotel needs the uplift to go with the staffs obvious love & enjoyment of their hotel. Update the hotel & make them even prouder to work there.

The shower did not work in room 101 I had to have a bath and I reported this to reception the breakfast was very good the hotel is just very old

The bed was terribly uncomfortable and felt like I was sleeping on a punch bag. Not only this but they did not mention it was a dog friendly hotel and when we went down for breakfast there was a couple with a dog in the hotel, and also got woken up by two dogs fighting outside early Sunday morning! To top this all off I had been bitten on the calves by god knows what when sleeping in the bed.
