I needed a place near the Airport since I missed my flight and had a red eye rescheduled for the next day. Of what was available in the lower price tier, I went with the Motel 6 based on reviews and my general familiarity with the chain.
The location is very close to the Airport and is on a block with many dining options, which was convenient when it was time for dinner.
My room was at the back of the hotel, ALL THE WAY back. Literally the last room on the first floor. It was as far away from the front desk as you could get.
The room was ample size with basic amenities. A large clean bed, a TV and basic seating next to the bed. The bathroom was small but sufficient. The A/C was on and was COLD. There was a dank moisture in the air, but the room didn't have a strong odor. There was some noise from the hallway, but the place was generally quiet.
The front desk staff were pleasant, and there was a communal microwave near the front desk (that I didn't use). That's also where the ice machine was located. Coin operated laundry was available, as well.
Overall an affordable, no-frills stay with basic amenities.

When arrived, they asked a credit card for incidentals bills, so i gave mine, in use and perfectly working.
It seems that the clerk in charge didn’t have the will to fix the credit card reader , so she decided that my credit card was useless
At last i used cash because i was so frustrated to try to help her.

The stay was Per-paid, but upon Arrivas I was asked to sign that they tolk 100 US$ for Security, and the amounr would be paid back to ly credit Care within 5-7 working days. At this moment, 11 days after the check-in, I have still not received this depositum. It gives me the feeling of thefth. Hope to receive it soon. I’ve been in USA for more than two weeks and has not had a similar problem - be cautious

This time there was a lot of noise and the power went out; my stay was not pleasant at all.

Overall the stay was horrible bed was hard as a rock and pillows were flat. Customer service was horrendous I was charged extra 100.00 for security deposit they said I would get it back when I checked never received it back, overall would not recommend.

The bathroom looked like it hadn't been clean and upon further inspection the underneath of the toilet seat was soiled. The bed made my skin itch and there was no microwave or mini fridge in the room.

Spent one night to catch a flight at Miami International. The room was clean but very basic in amenities. Bed was comfy. Close to airport. Very noisy throughout the night due to guests coming and going until approximately 2am. Definitely did not get a good nights sleep.

It was an overall great stay and affordable it was safe and quiet. Had to switch rooms but it was cool.

The staff and cleaning during your stay is great, but the property is outdated. Lighting in halls is horrid, the centrally located ice machine is broken, RFID locking door is broken on the second floor, and the coffee/tea served is just sad. Otherwise, the actual rental unit has been recently renovated and is comfortable.

Truly basic accommodations, like a hostel, but without having to share a room with others. The motel provides
only coffee in the morning, but a Dunkin’ Donuts shop that opens at 5:30 a.m. is just a few steps away at one end of the property. There’s also a Starbucks close by. For lunch or dinner, there are 2 places nearby as well, without having to cross the very busy street.

Mold! In bathroom and room smelled of mold. A/C stayed running all night circulating the moldy smell. No furniture and $100 damage deposit?

I was very impressed with the quality of service and accommendation that I received. The neatness and cleanliness of my room was outstanding. The staff was very cordial. I will certainly choose to stay there in the future and recomend to others.

Someone just opened our door at8:30 am. Did’nt even knock and just said you’re checking out? After opening the door just like that. No shampoo just soap.

Dismal. Arrived at 2am after a delayed flight. Lady at front was helpful and nice. At check in a man was passed out in a chair next to the vending machine. Place was dirty, run down and sketchy. Lady said key cards not working and she would have to let us in and out. Met us at our room and let us in…didn’t feel secure or safe. Room was shabby, not clean feeling with hair, dust and grim. Neighbors loud, argumentative, empty liquor bottles outside of room.

The photos of this property on Expedia are not photos of the rooms I stayed in. The photos show modern motel 6 fixtures, bedding, sheets, etc. I rented 4 rooms and all 4 of them were at least 20 years old fixtures, paint etc, with old sheets, and old springy beds. They were very humid inside, with virtually no circulation. all smelled of mildew, and had mildew in multiple areas around the bathrooms. Light fixtures didn't work, a door lock in one bathroom didn't want to unlock half the time, the flooring is curled and lifting from the humidity. To top it off it was loud with people banging and talking the entire night. I paid about $160/night for each room. If they had cost $85/night I would have expected the rooms I got. I booked there based on the modern photos, and the price point. I feel like they use misleading photos and jack the price to make you think it's a modern motel 6. It is NOT.

The front desk crew were great. This is an old Motel 6, and we never expect much. It has been redone, but is very bare bones and has questionable floors/bathroom.
