This place is one of my regular stops between southern Cal and Oregon. I do 2-4 nights per year here so I know it pretty well. Big property and usually pretty empty. The desk clerks are always upbeat and friendly. Needed my room changed after check-in -- I'd requested a queen bed and to be on the lower level, but apparently the queen beds are on the upper level unless you want a "handicapped room" (as she so un-PC referred to it). I took it but immediately realized yes it has a massive bathroom but no desk, and I need a desk. But she quickly moved me into a lower with two doubles (and a desk) which was perfectly fine.
There are two downsides to the place. One is that the bathtubs don't have those traction strips in them, so they are slick and super slippery especially after you use soap or shampoo. My coordination is pretty good but I still nearly took a header. Be very very careful in the shower! The other issue is that the internet is unreliable. It drops out for extended periods. Every time I go there I use my mobile hotspot at some point. So if you need internet while there make sure you know how to access your mobile hotspot.
As always I got takeout from the Cattlemen's a few blocks down. Excellent BBQ!

Ladies that work there were nice but the place was dirty. So very dirty. Couldn’t walk around without shoes, baseboards were thick with grime, couldnt take a shower without shower shoes, spiders in the walk corners ect. Bed and sheets were clean though

We came to Redding for a car show and booked 4 rooms here with the understanding we were going to have rooms next to the parking lot for trailers so we could keep an eye on them. They kept telling us that they made a note of it. When we arrived we weren’t anywhere near the lot so they ended up giving us queen beds instead of the king beds and we were up on the third floor at least closer to the lot. I was told we were getting a partial refund back but then the lady at checkout didn’t mention anything about it. Also our room got cleaned and they left our room door open! Anyone could’ve walked in and stole our property
I understand this was a busy weekend for them but we have been doing this car show for decades, and will not be returning here.

The fellow working the night shift was very friendly and thorough when we checked in.
However, the WiFi did not connect as room 121 was too far away to pick up the signal. The wifi was great at the office area. I would suggest getting an expander to reach the all guest rooms. 👍

The check in was spectacular! I asked to price match which they couldn't do, and he told me up front he didn't have anything on the main floor ( I have trouble walking which he noted as I got out of the car). So while i booked through the app, he did some looking and upgraded me to a better room ON THE GROUND FLOOR! We chatted about the area and he made me a good price on Dr. Pepper. Great personality and it set the tone for a great stay!

If you would like to be treated like a criminal on your vacation and you should stay here. They refuse to give me a third floor room. No coffee pot. The ice machine is on lockdown. There are creepy people living there. And they will put you as a single person traveling back right in between everyone who's outside using drugs and commiserating with the homeless. This is a terrible property and you should never stay there

We had a long driving day. The hotel was not busy. We asked if we could be in quiet room. We were told no one would be booked above us as lots of rooms. At 10:30 Pm people were booked in that slammed drawers and walked steady till midnight. No carpets on floors so was very noisy. We are upset as the lady that booked us in said no problem. It would be quiet above us.

Staff and property were very good. My beef is with Expedia itself. When we were checking in there was a problem with our credit card not being accepted because we already paid for it so there was something about a ghost card that will work. Held us up for a long time until the clerk could straighten it out. Not sure I will use Expedia to book anything again if this is the hassle we have to go through.

Basic and comfortable stay overall, breakfast area was kept clean and fully stocked. Staff at the front desk were friendly. Room was overall clean and comfortable. Our room AC had kind of a moldy smell to it, but overall the room had all the essentials we needed. Coffee maker, small fridge, iron, hair dryer, shampoo, body soap, free wifi, ice machine nearby, etc. Room service is done as needed but they kept freshening our towels and taking the trash. The hotel/inn was close to restaurant shopping and points of interest in Redding.

The clerks were super friendly. The breakfast was pretty good. The room appeared clean but after spilling water the floor was super dirty it turned the washcloth brown. I showed the housekeeper and she just said oh. No apology or attempt to make it right. There was only 2 pillows and they were basically flat it was like sleeping with no pillows at all.

Front desk was friendly. Our room was fine besides a odd paint smell. Until we tried to shower. NO hot water. They offered to move us rooms, which was fine. However, the new room was on the 2nd floor with no elevators and it was in the middle of the building. Stars on either side, and we had 2 kids with portable cribs and all their stuff. We sucked it up and get to the new room. Fine room. But then… the fan in the bathroom made a HORRIBLE sound, so loud and it was unusable. No lights in the bathroom as the other light was dead. Showered by phone flashlight. Plus no TV remote so that was fun with kids.. they didn’t even offer a discount or credit on our stay after all of this. So frustrating

The check-in clerk was a little short on cheerfulness and was not really welcoming. He did the bare minimum job and I guess that's all I can ask. He gave confusing directions to the room and didn't point out the pool or breakfast (I already knew about them, but I would expect the desk clerk to tell guests about them). I don't know if 3rd floor was all that was left but he made it sound like that was the only option. I don't mind - it was quiet up there - but for many people it would have been a big problem. The room was clean. The air conditioning labored to keep the temperature down to around 70. The shower head was more of a dribbler. Bed moderately comfortable. It's sort of disturbing to see bits of crumbling stucco and concrete on the stairs and walkways. But the price was right so I can't complain too much.

The hotel was great, the remodeling is amazing, service was great but the second day of our stay the cleaning attendant forgot to leave all the coffee, sugar, cups, an extra toilet paper etc in our room but I just walked around the building and got what I needed (very easy) but other than that everything was absolutely amazing +A

Keep away front this property, front desk staff is very rude, unprofessional. They provide breakfast but you will never get anything cause they don’t restock or refill. They don’t even anticipate based on their occupancy how much food is needed. For someone who is vegetarian they have nothing except coffee and muffins. During my stay every morning they ran out of breads, when we asked front desk response was “we didn’t anticipate people will eat so much of bread”. Its absolutely not worth the money and ironical to name quality in cause I don’t see any quality in the rooms they have and breakfast they serve. There were many disappointed families like mine who share same experience. I hope people will read all the reviews and make wise decision to find some better place.

The mattress was super hard. The walkway outside was dirty and sticky and the Air conditioning did work properly. The money I paid for this place was not worth it. I have stayed at much better Hotels and didn't spend that much money. The staf was polite

We love this Quality Inn. Close to freeway and lots of parking for RV's.

Great value for the money. Breakfast is very good. The room felt a bit crammed. There were homeless near the property and there was a squatter in someone's room when we checked in! Overall a good place to stay a night or two with good breakfast.

The hotel was in really poor condition, and did not make us feel safe whatsoever. It looked like things were barely cleaned inside the room, and smelled like cigarettes.
