Terrible. Rubbish disabled parking in relation to the accommodation, too much hassle to get to bar/restaurant in a wheelchair from room as had to go outside then downhill then back up to return. Initially no electric to sockets so no TV working and couldn’t use hairdryer etc. Shower had to be on little more than a trickle for hot water, had to be a cold shower if you wanted a decent flow, bath lacked handrail on one side (accessible room) which could have caused issues and not brilliant on cleaning front.
No customer service, no pleasantries on arrival or departure, seemed like it was a chore, wouldn’t stay here again

Love the water fountain near my room ( love this as I don’t drink tap water) only down side was that the room next door where speaking loudly in the night and the walls are to thin.

Very nice decor in the atrium and lovely touch with water fountains in the hallway dispensing sparkling water!
Breakfast at 8 on Saturday is a bit late especially for the workers. Nice to have a pool, sauna and steam room.

Was a nice hotel for the money, but don't expect super high end luxury. Paid for an upgraded room to have bath robes (had to ask for them) and Elemis toiertries (got handsoap and shampoo). The room was clean, although looking tired in places. For the money, I can't fault it, but as mentioned, don't expect a luxury spa experience. The gym, spa and pool are in another building, so not really the type of place you walk around in your slippers and robe (unless your comfortable walking through the carpark). The front of the building and reception areas do look grand, but you find the rear of the property to be a modern (guess 1960's) extension that sits awkwardly in the hotels grounds. Bonus points for being dog friendly!

Clean comfortable room with a spotless bathroom and shower. A little dated decor but no complaints as room price reflects this. All staff friendly and helpful and great breakfast.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. First class in every way. A warm welcome from
Carmen at the reception. Excellent huge suite 302. Extremely clean and well maintained . Lovely large bathroom. Room service exceptional. Food delicious. Pool lovely and clean . The spa was amazing. Extremely professional massage by Monica. She was totally amazing. Could not fault this hotel or its staff. They are all a real credit to the MacDonald group. We only found this hotel by chance. We had previously booked the Lensbury Hotel and Spa but checked in and out within 90 minutes because it was awful. Was going to drive all the way home but pulled in by the side of the road and looked for an alternative. What a significant difference in hotels. I would recommend the Frimley to everyone and the Lensbury to no one. Will definately go back to the Frimley. Totally amazing place. We were wanting to get away because we have both been under so much stress recently. The Lensbury just added stress , the Frimley melted it away. Thank you for being so lovely to us. Can’t wait to return.

Had a lovely relaxing time. Great facilities and very welcoming staff, the most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in. The breakfast was excellent to with a great selection!

Significant queue at checking in, however the complimentary drink whilst waiting was appreciated. Also a further queue when checking out this morning, which wasn't great

Hotel just about ok - Breakfast, not the best, bed we had was not very big, hotel looks a little tired to me. In a really nice area overall.

The hotel was very old and would have been very grand in its day. It is a little tired and frayed around the edges now, but is still a nice place to stay. The spa facilities were very small with communal changing. Robes were not supplied to guests unless treatments were booked (bit disappointed). Room was well equipped and I liked the mineral water dispensers in the corridors. Staff were all very friendly. Dinner was very nice (bit surprised to see tatty dining chairs with foam showing on many). Oh, and there are no lifts - my 80+ Mum and Dad struggled a bit with all the stairs.

It was a really disappointing stay. Over booked and understaffed. Relied heavily on very young untrained staff last Saturday night. They had not been trained sufficiently which left several clients being very rude to them and I found 2 waiting staff in floods of tears and I comforted them as there was no managers in sight. The pot washer was the chef and housekeeping were called in to waitress. Not good.

Beds very soft, not great to sleep on
Room not cleaned 1 day of the stay, Requested it be cleaned when I returned in the evening before going out and it wasn't although this was promised.
Bathroom dirty

Staff were amazing and food very good but hotel is run down and dark and when we stayed very cold could not keep open areas and restaurants warm at all

We enjoyed our stay. For a disabled person it was a long walk from our room to reception/dining room

There was a good choice of dishes for breakfasts. You can have continental - lovely spread of french pastries and sliced meats or full English. The staff in the dining rooms was very pleasant, informative, friendly and helpful. Just what you need when you travelling on your own.
The room itself was on a small side. The bathroom was a bit dated. But over-all very pleasant stay.

Always nice to stay here and I had probably the best room in the hotel for very little money.

I was in room 42 which is the far end of the hotel, ground floor, the room is conveniently situated an enormous distance of 1 meter from the sharp bend in the perimeter road around the hotel, if that noise wasn't enough the room above must have been housing king kong or the ceiling is roughly 1mm thick, the entire bedroom shook as they moved around the room, the light fitting shook making a lovely noise, the mirror on the wall shook making a lovely noise, every footstep sounded like a drum beating in my ear, lovely. There was a severe shortage of staff, I believe due to some staff illness, it's always remarkable how the managers fail to appear when things get tough to help out, many years of working in hotels it is always the same. Saving grace, good facilities, gyms great, pool area great, staff that were on shift very helpful when available.

Great place and evening meal was lovely. Breakfast is a bit disappointing with the full English being tough to eat!

Hotel was ol fine, although there was a wedding on, which is fine in itself, but guests were letting their kids play knock down/up ginger on other guests doors. It gets a bit tiresome after a while. It stopped when i ran to the door and stood and shouted after them "Do you want to see me in my pants or something?" as I stood there in my pants! They didn't come back.
Only other issue was the toilet flush, which required some major pumping to get it to work.
We didn't use any facilities other than the room, as firstly we were going to Lapland UK, so were not at the hotel much, and secondly, I am heavily immunosuppressed, so stayed away from busy areas. That said, it did look like a very nice hotel.
We did think of having breakfast as room service, but at £24 per head plus £8 tray charge, decided to go to the other McDonald's for breakfast at the rather more palatable sub of £15 total! :)

Not enough experience staff to cope with the demands, mainly unexperienced, hospitality, staff that are run off their feet! No sign of any management!

Wonderful stay, excellent facilities, staff excellent went the extra mile.

Nice place and rooms - breakfast was disappointing though as used to be really good , however since COVD has been one of tho joyless self service buffets with soggy steamed bacon - such a disappointment as it used to be so good !

This is a beautiful property. Very classy while being very comfortable. Food in the lounge was great, especially tortellini. Lovely environment definitely weighs following negatives.
The breakfast was not impressive. Few hot choices. Eggs were unpleasant. Tomatoes had to be ordered, and took 15 minutes to arrive.
Was amazed at how lax servers were at clearing dirty dishes in lounge. Would deliver a beer and walk away without empty glasses on table.

Beautiful building with so many original features - a pleasure to stay!

We were meeting my brother & family after a 20 year gap & celebrating my sisters birthday. Was very surprised the hotel wasn’t as big as it looks like on the brochure or website. Lounge & dining area very small & dated. Staff were amazing but shame hotel was a little tired & in need of bit of TLC

A nice hotel. Some modernisation required. Bar prices are very high!

Stay was ok overall however the furnishings at the hotel are very dated and worn..
Needs a refurbishment to charge the prices they do.
Breakfast was a big let down with buffet service with most items cold and coffee tasted horrible..

The hotel environment is nice but some facilities are old and the sofa in my room is already worn out and hard to sit on. No lift within the hotel , it’s a bit hard to move large luggage up the stairs.

Bed was uncomfortable and room was quite dated.

Lovely hotel. Wish we had stayed longer there and had time to use the facilities.

Love the Frimley Hall. The staff were fabulous and really friendly and helpful.
Disappointed slightly with the treatment. Massage wasnt quiet as expected, despite indicating pressure points etc, and my friend asked for info on the products used, but the therapist refused.

We stayed based on convenience for a family reunion nearby. Advertised as family friendly with no mention of restricted access to the pool for kids (9-10am the one day we stayed). The rest of the hotel is tired and needs an update. It served a purpose, but we definitely overpaid.

So the initial impression is very good, nice reception, good looking building. Unfortunately the layout is rather old (probably due to the building to be fair) and I was miles from the reception/Spa area. Rooms look good but need an update, all slightly dated and old.
Breakfast was...well ordinary. Had better at Premier Inn or Wetherspoons. Not a great selection of fruit, juices running out and pastries that were a bit dry...just ordinary and not fitting a place that looks like this.

Lovely hotel, quite area.
