I stayed one night at this hotel, conveniently located near Atlantic City, where I had a business convention. It was disgusting and should be condemned by the Department of Health. The place smelled like smoke, as smoking is allowed. The hallways reeked of cigarette smoke, and my eyes started burning. The draperies were broken and didn't cover the windows. The TV didn't work even though the room had two remotes. The cleanliness of the hotel was a tad better than that of a third-world country bathhouse. Homeless people were hanging out in the parking lot, smoking and walking around, making it a bit unnerving when coming in at night. The lighting is poor; the elevators are broken or held together by duct tape (literally). The hallways look like they were last vacuumed a few months ago. The sheets were very dirty, and the towels were like sandpaper. This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had in 40 years of Traveling. Do not stay at this hotel.

The toilet lid was cracked in half, AC DID NOT WORK IN MULTIPLE ROOMS (spoke to other patrons). Grounds are overgrown and lobby missing about 50 ceiling tiles with lights and wires hanging through ceiling tile framing. No ice machine and soda machines were out of order. If u need a bare essentials (bed and shower) otherwise don’t stay here.

This place is exactly what it means, you get what you pay for. The rooms were not clean. The hallways smelled like urine. There were rooms that had their doors kicked in and taped off. As soon as you walk in the cielings were dangling, and elevators were out of service. Burn marks in our blankets. We did not stay and demanded a refund.

Where to even begin! But if not up to reading just stay away! Upon arriving and checking in the entrance doors where broken and had to pry open with two hands. Checked in and got into the one elevator working that doesnt light up what floor you are even on. Not inspected and parts of it exposed with broken panels. Hotel smells like weed and dead birds. Room was okay except some torn wall paper. No breakfast or coffee in the morning and a bunch of shady people staying at this hotel. Last time for me and ive stayed at this place for many years but seems owners just dont care anymore. I have no clue how this hotel passed any inspections. I should have taken photos

The hotel is shelter that houses AC homeless which is not a problem, however, no one should be living in those conditions. I pay for a room with no heat...an electric heater plugged to the wall (safety hazard). The room smell bad, dirty, old out of a horror movie. I had to buy cleaning supplies to disinfect my room. Elevator, carpet dirty, holes in the wall...bathroom mold and mildew. I can go on and on...Everyone that stay there left early complaining about the same issue. All other hotels were booked...we were better off at a small motel/hotel near the board walk....ADVICE book ahead and pay a little extra...

I had to book another hotel. I had my kids with me, when we got there the first room had a piece of metal in the middle of the two bed, also in the same room the had an open space in the wall that they were fixing. The second room smelled like cigarettes. The 3rd room was dirty, the toilet had stain, even fake nails on the floor. Disgusting!! Since we got inside you can tell the place is dirty, dirty and dirty…. Regret booking this place, plus the fact that I had to get another hotel, it was very cold and had my kids.

First of all there was absolutely No Heat in this hotel. They switched our room and it was somewhat better. There was more heat in the hallway on the upper floor but none whatsoever in the Lobby. There was a odor in our room.
Upon returning from an evening event. We couldn't get into the lobby
The elderly desk clerk instructed us ro pry the Automatic Door open by hand and told us to close it back once we were inside. The lights in the elevator were dim and the ceiling tiles in the lobby were missing in areas and stained.
This was the worst stay ever!!!!

The property is overall nice but my toilet seat was loose and the elevator was dirty with spilled food

The property was pretty dirty. Elevators were disgusting. Had various different scents throughout the hotel. The room was freezing. They did sent a maintence man up who was very nice and helped fix the problem. The fire detector was ripped out of the wall and laying on the night stand, wires hanging out of the aall. The hotel room wasn’t that clean. They should probably take the sign down in front of the hotel that says newly renovated in 2015. It could use some updating.

My initial room was had a bathroom that was to say the least nasty. The parking lot is in disarray. People were working on their car in the parking lot. The back parking lot was dark and appeared unsafe (a marsh appears to be behind the hotel. The entire floor smelled like weed and musty people. Informed the staff who were very professional and he immediately changed my room to the above floor which was like a totally different hotel (for the better). No weed smell, the air smelled like it had been cleaned. As mentioned, the outside will easily turn you away. The inside room (on the above floor) was VERY CLEAN AND QUIET. While if I were traveling solo the place would be ok to sleep but WOULD NEVER BRING THE WIFE AND KIDS.

This hotel looks nothing likes it pictures and is below average. It's hard to believe Wyndham would be affiliated with this hotels. The hotel's front desk waiting area was unclean and sofa covers were dirty and not fitting properly, when I arrived around noon. It appears that there are guests who are using the hotel as a place to live. People down on their luck. I saw one family of 6 adults being asked to leave the premises due to non-payment and I observed two elderly sisters who were dirty and not in good health One sister was pushing the other in a wheelchair. The front lobby smelled like a nursing home. The scene was more sad than offensive. The clerk was nice enough to let me check in early. Once in my room, I felt safe, but it was rather warm. There was no way to adjust the temperature and the room never really got cold- although it was bearable. The next day the front desk are was more clean and presentable. However furniture in the front lobby like in the rooms is dated and scuffed up. I was able to use points to stay for free but I would not recommend if you actually have to pay to stay there.

Our room had black mold on the walls near the air conditioner.

Staff was very nice!! However unfortunately didn’t meet my expectations.. ironing board was burnt, carpet was burnt, the walls are very thin and heard babies crying all night!

Non smoking room wasn't bad smelling wise, but the elevator and 5th floor had very strong smells of cigarettes. I've stayed in worst rooms, but it was very outdated, dirty, and leaking shower and I wouldn't go back.

This property was completely dirty. The first room I was in the air conditioner was not working. It had a strange nicotine odor in the room. When the room was supposed to be a non-smokers room the bedsheets were dirty. The pillows were also dirty and had questionable stains items in the first room were missing like the ice bucket and the “do not disturb” sign in the second room the hairdryer was not working. Neither was the iron, and the ironing board had stains on it as well in the second room we had to purchase our own fan because the air conditioner was not working properly either.

Loved how spacious the room was, the microwave and fridge was needed

This was one of the worst experience that I've ever had during my stay in a Hotel. When I first arrived, the cover on the bed was dirty, then I saw there was a fan sitting on the floor which I didn't really understand why it was there. After couple minutes in the room I realized the AC was not properly working, it was hot in the room. I called the front desk to change my room, but there was no other room available at this time. I spent the night out thinking when I get back it would be better, the entire night was super hot. In the morning the so called continental breakfast they offered was only bagel, cream cheese, coffee and waffles. No juice, no eggs, no sausage, none of these. In the morning I went back to ask these people to change my room, they continue to say that there was no available room, I asked them if they will send a company to repair the AC, they were just looking at me and smile. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone, not even to my worst enemy.

Did not stay. Asked for refund and still waiting. Booked another hotel near by. Smelly and dilapidated. Better hotels in third world countries.

The mini refrigerator in the room didn’t work and beds were very firm. The hotel needs to do a renovation the furniture was old and the paint looked like someone tried to paint the wood furniture but it needed more attention.

It’s rather expensive for what you get. The rooms are okay but it was quite dirty when we arrived. We had to get housekeeping to clean up. The hotel hallways smelled like weed and the parking lot had some questionable characters. I felt like I was at an upgraded motel. The breakfast was not good either.

Black mold on walls and ceilings
Soiled bed linens and towels
Soiled and stain bed upholstery
Soiled and stained furniture
Bathtub wouldn’t drain so you can’t shower
Hallways smell
Everything is run down in the entire hotel. The pictures do not look like it really is. There is garbage everywhere, bottle, ungroomed lawn, didn’t even want to park my car outside. We ending up sleeping in our cars due to the black mold and bugs and children were wheezing after the front desk man wouldn’t move our room or another hotel. After a week, the hotel manager has still not returned my calls to hear my concerns and discuss my refund. Never again and shame on Hotels.com for listing this as a 8 star rating and not working to rectify this health concern either.

First time staying at a Travelodge, this location left me with a horrid impression. The room had a stale smell and I killed a roach that was crawling up on the wall. The ac needs to be updated immediately because the cooling quality ishighly inconsistent. The length of time spent waiting for the only working elevator, since the other one was broken. The continental breakfast had to ask for another option besides whole milk to be brought out. The only beverages to drink were water, coffee, and milk. Overall waste of my time and money, nor will they get either one from me at another time. It needs to be shut down for a deep cleaning and much needed renovation.

My family and I have stayed at this location for many years. Each year since it was no longer a Days Inn, the property (both inside and out) has gotten progressively worse. The 2nd elevator has been broke for years. There are holes all over the building. The elevator indicator lights are virtually destroyed. The moving carts (only 2 for the entire hotel) are the poorest quality, old, and bearly functional. The staff was unkind and condescending. I highly doubt I will be patronizing this hotel ever again.

I had a quick check-in and my room was clean and I had a very enjoyable stay at Travelodge.

This used to be my favorite property and this is my first time back since COVID. It has gone downhill significantly.
The AC isn't working well, the toilet has a dark urine stain in the bowl and black stains on the seat, and when I asked for a blanket I was told by the woman at the front desk that they stopped carrying extra blankets due to COVID..., And don't get me started on how stained the floors are in the hallway leading to the room. A room at one of the casinos would have been an extra $300, and I deeply regret not paying the extra money to stay there instead.

Very rundown, dirty and old.

Staff is amazing! The property itself needs a bit of work, but understandable with actual economy situation and it explains the low rates. People that work there are great. Rooms clean. Parking is big.
Thank you, guys!
