The thermostat was “Heat Only”, so when it got slightly warmer outside it was hot in the room. Roaches everywhere even after the front office had sprayed when I notified them of the problem. No micro-fridge. I stayed two nights because I had to due to my circumstances. And I was on a strict budget. Otherwise, I would have stayed somewhere else. I also have a cockroach allergy as well. Had nowhere else to stay that was within my budget so I had to tolerate it. I have stayed at Motel 6 in other locations throughout the US in the past and this location in north Springfield MO is the absolute worst I have ever seen.

as soon as u enter room there was atleast 10 ROACHES you could see to the eye, the room smelled like POOP and the bed sheets had yellow stains. there were holes in the wall and there were no shades on any of the lamps.

Did not stay had wrong bed size. Reeked of cigarettes. Dirty and not upgraded as advertised. Take this place off your list.

Room was filthy bugs and roaches everywhere all of the staff was high and not 420 high would never stay there again!!!

I made two attempts to check in and the room wasn't cleaned yet. I cancelled and found another place.

Service at the front desk was great and location was awesome, however my room smelled so badly of cat piss I couldn’t even sleep. I should have asked for a different room, but by the time I noticed the smell I already had loaded all of my things in.

This was by far THE WORST HOTEL I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are absolutely NASTY! Bedding was dingy, floor was dirty and not mopped and it was ROACH INFESTED!! We complained and they got housekeeping to get someone to mop the floor and change out the bedding but the pictures currently used ARE NOT how the rooms looking. The area is also seedy, with homeless, junkies and prostitutes. NEVER AGAIN!!

Evening desk clerk is amazing.. and most staff friendly and helpful.

Everyone was very friendly had trouble with the heat, but the maintenance man came in and showed me how to use it

Was kicked out because the front desk staff was assaulted by a creepy person that followed me to the hotel. I was asleep when the assault took place and the staff said they were filing assault charges against me.

Staff was very pleasant and professional has possible. Property semi isolated for noise control but have to go little way for outside food. Property needs some renovations and cleaning and bug sprayed in places.

This is the second time I've stayed here and was suppose to have a microwave plus refrigerator in the room. Last time I had neither this time only a microwave. Room was not properly clean. Found a bottle for spray under the bed,no towels in room. Also roaches in my room. Toilet wouldn't flush. It's cheap though and employees seem nice.

I realize one can't expect much from a cheap room, but this place was gross. I booked a room with a mini fridge and microwave. The room had neither and only one lamp worked. Even the bed was broken. The staff locked the door to the laundry/ice machine room at 10 because of all the vagrants. Horrible place.

I had a car wreck and did not make it there to stay.

It took them 2 hours to give me the room that I booked. Saying that it wasn't cleaned and then when I finally got in my room, I found a cockroach on the wall near the tv.

It was dirty and have roaches Never again!!!!

Hello, I am very sorry, but I was not satisfied with yesterday's stay, the inside of the microwave oven was very dirty, the dew smelled very bad, so I could not use the microwave oven, and the sink was clogged, the water was hardly going, and I saw a few insects on the floor, I was not satisfied at all, so I am very sorry.

They staff are great and they work hard at keeping everything clean and presentable for the people who come to stay in the hotel

I didn't like anything about this place. I will not book anything from this property again. From the moment I pulled onto the property and witnessed the homeless individuals hanging around the area I shouldn't have kept my reservation. The room was not properly cleaned before my arrival. The floors were not swept, or mopped and appeared to not be in long time. The mini refrigerator never cooled down to use. The bedside table was not wiped off and the TV screen was filthy and scratched to the point that it was hard to see what was on. There were tennis ball size holes on the walls (2 different walls) Bathroom vent was torn off and put back up damaged. The back of the bathroom door is severely damaged. No soap, or hygiene of any kind left with the exception of half a roll of toilet paper. The towels were stained so much they looked unwashed. Black marks on the sheets, which they think is the same thing as a comforter. No coffee pot in room or in office, no hair dryer or iron no ice anywhere. The courtesy laundry facility looked more like a run down storage with trash everywhere and broken machines. I have always taken my own personal hygiene, hair dryer and ironed clothes,but I counted on the appearance and amenities to match the pictures when booking. Being desperate is still not good enough reason to sleep here.

Room was infested with Roaches No Remote for TV. You should refund money due to the inconvenience of the Roaches. I took video and pictures If you'd like to see them.

Beyond terrible. Started with no lamp shades on lamps- just open swirly cfl bulbs-which the office gave me 2 hand towels to put over them to reduce the glare in our eyes, tv pixels were no good- just two spots that showed the picture- the rest was very darkened, the floor was sticky, the bed was very beat down on one side so had to sleep in middle crowding my husband, then saw a large roach crawl down the wall! Later in the evening once the light by the sink was turned off for a while and then turned back on the sink area came alive with roaches!! we had to go thru all our belongings before we took them out to the car in the morning to make sure we didn't take any with us. Then when speaking to the morning office person he was arrogant and not interested in our complaints saying we should have come to the office to get a room change (but we had brought in a good bit of stuff from the car because of the bitter cold and my husband had already showered and was ready for bed after driving a long day). He was more interested in strutting his purple nail polish and eye shadow and fake multicolored wig and said well you only paid $56 which I retorted that we had actually paid $71!! Horrible experience. We have been using Motel6 for many years (because our small dog is free) and seen a decline in quality over the last few years, this may be our very last time to use that chain. The good ones are getting few and far between, not worth the chance anymore. This one is beyond horrible!

The stay was horrible! The room had no working tv, it was covered in roaches, we had no fridge or microwave, when we asked for a refund they refused to give us our money back. After we left the receptionist called my personal number threatening us, saying if we show up on their property that we will be arrested and charged, and our phones will be “snatched” the overall stay was horrible. Would not recommend going there ever!

Well from chicken they said I would get my deposit back I have not got no deposit back because they said the towels were dirty the room was completely cleaned there was nothing else that could have been wrong

Absolutely disgusting condition. Cockroaches and flies. Toilet didn't work. Night manager was beyond rude with a total chip on his shoulder. Told me I wasn't getting a refund because I slept there until 3 a.m. so that is what I paid for. Totally nasty piece of work who hung up on me and didn't even bother to come to the room to fix the toilet which I had to use as a portapotty because it would not work. Avoid at all costs.

I reserved and was confirmed a smoking room. There was no ash tray in the room and when I requested one was told one would be put in the room when I returned. It wasn't. Was told more towels would be brought to the room. That didn't happen. Thank God the heater worked well because there was only a sheet on the bed. There was no TV remote. Saw a bug crawling on the floor; where there is one there are more.

I booked a room ahead of time for a deluxe room with a microwave and refrigerator. I ended up with a room that didn't have either one and a broken TV and a cracked bathtub that I couldn't use. Everything seems unclean and stained. Including the sheets on my bed and the cases on my pillows. Absolutely disgusting I only stayed the night because I had to sleep for the rest of my travels. I would never ever recommend this place to anybody and I would like to hear back from somebody so I can submit this review properly cuz this is absolutely ridiculous
