This hotel was horrible! The back door was left unlocked and unmonitored all the time. We found bed bugs in our room. When we asked for a refund, we were told we had to get it from Expedia because that’s who booked the room through. Horrible, would never recommend.

Nothing unique except maybe the cochroach that I killed in the bathroom. The motel smelled of smoke in the room and hallways. The backdoor into the motel never was locked. I couldn't believe it was a choice motel. The staff was very nice in spite of everything . I will never stay there again.

Terrible tv remote didn’t work refrigerator sounds like a train 4 different times in two days had to get room keys reprogrammed other than location to my sons house would never stay there again

My truck broke down on the way and I couldn’t make the stay. I called to make a cancellation and the hotel would not help me. They had no sympathy or consideration for my situation. It was no we’re charging you anyway they did not offer any other option to be helpful That’s it!

Get what you pay for. Pretty nasty. Charge extra for using a credit card which wasn't mentioned. It's better than sleeping outside, but not by much.

Nice place, nice people a little dated but well worth the price

We were charged for extra people in the room and the staff would not give us exrra towels for everyone to be able to shower. We were told "rooms get 2 towels regardless of how many people are in the room".

Old carpet affected my sensitivity to dust and smells

The hotel itself was fine. Clean room and comfortable. I was, however, double charged for the room. I had made the reservation with one card and asked the charges be put on another card. They charged both cards. Still waiting for the $50 depost return on one card and the amount charged on my other card to be refunded too.

Found multiple stains on the sheets. Also found what was clearly smeared blood in two spots above the toilet paper dispenser. When I showed the front desk clerk that pictures of issues found I received this response “the sheets are clean, those are just stains.” No offer to replace the sheets or switch rooms. No resolution. I then had to ask him to go to the room to clean up the smeared blood above the toilet paper. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and this was the worst experience and then worst customer service I’ve ever run across. I’ll never stay at a Rodeway Inn again.

Easy going staff and reasonable priced

The location was convenient to where we were doing things in the area. The room seemed clean, but the hallways and room really smelled like smoke. If you don't mind that, it was a fine stay. Staff was not exactly rude, but was not the usual level of friendly you might find in the hospitality business. Lots of hallway noise in the morning. Even for the low price, I would have expected more from the stay.

Nothing burn holes in bedding

We were very happy with this motel and would stay there again if we are traveling in that direction. We understand there is no longer a swimming pool and that the breakfast room was closed because of the Pandemic. Neither was a problem for us. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean as was the room.

No breakfast, no hot coffee, had two holes in the blanket on the bed.

No one there to check us in even on repeated calling

I tried to cancel one of the two rooms we reserved but it was too late. Expedia tried to cancel by calling several times over the period of about a half hour and could not get through. The phone rang and rang with no answer. They told me to try. I tried two separate times. It rang and rang and there was no answer. I finally got through. Rodeway told me they cancelled the reservation. When I arrived they charged me for both rooms, both individually, and placed a third charge that they said they would back out. This appeared to have caused a freeze to be placed on my debit card and rendered it useless for the weekend. We went ahead and stayed in both rooms since they told us we could not cancel one. The room my wife and I stayed in had a musty smell but was otherwise clean. The room my sons stayed in had sheets with what appeared to be a blood stain; it was red. They brought us new sheets but could not enter the room to replace them so my wife did. Our room had a faucet that dripped all night. The clothes iron was missing. The wifi password was incorrect; at least neither my sons nor I were able to connect. The next morning we found out the continental breakfast that was advertised was canceled because of COVID. This needs to be clear on the website. I can't say it was much better than a Motel 6, certainly not at $100 per night.

This was not a good hotel. It was filled with smoke and NONE of the employees were wearing masks. We even had to have an employee come to our room because the bathroom door was locked and she didn’t wear a mask in our room. Definitely would never stay again.

Clean little motel. Close to where I needed to be and although it is an older motel it seemed pretty nice. Breakfast was good.

The location was okay, but the overall facility was no great. It is a smoker's paradise. I smelled like smoke when I woke up. I don't know what I would do if I had severe allergies. The price was good, but not much less than better properties. I'll be careful on Roadway motels in the future.

We booked room to go see our son, we paid 3x the regular rate, 1st room had BAD odor in fridge, & heat didn't work (32 degree outside) They put us in adjoining room still no heat. They did fix heat for us. Breakfast had to stand to wait for a table for 2 (only 4 tables in room) The night prior 2 others came in to get a room for under normal rate, The rate we paid was over what a suite was. Very disappointed with everything there!

Screen on window was torn terribly. Only one garbage can in room 😞

I was very disapointed. The pool was closed for maintanence. I asked for a crib and was told it was availble but when we checked in I was told they didnt have one. We asked for directions and they couldnt help us.
